Jamie Silcox - a great asset to Circuit Laundry
Jamie Silcox is our customer relations manager for the launderettes here at Lancaster University. He is always unfailingly friendly, positive, and super responsive to emails/calls. Since working with Jamie, any issues with my launderette have always been resolved usually within 24 hours, and we are providing students with a much better experience as a result. Jamie has recently assisted with adding some accessibility features to a launderette on campus - a time-consuming job which he did gladly, and when the student requested some further works he was back within a couple of days to take care of that as well. Superb service, always a pleasure to see him!

Helpful and kind staff
I had a problem with one of the laundry machines in my student accommodation due to there being a malfunction with the machine. Thankfully, I rang them up and was helped massively by a girl called Ellie who was very kind and helpful and the problem is getting sorted on Monday thanks to her.

I had unpleasant experience with a customer service representative named Curtis today, 27 January 2026.
I contacted support via live chat to ask when I could expect the remaining balance from my Circuit account to be refunded. During the interaction, Curtis stated that she was unable to understand my question and responded in a rude manner before ending the chat. She also instructed me to contact customer service by phone; however, I am unable to speak, which is why I was communicating through live chat.
I am concerned that stating an inability to understand a straightforward customer inquiry and redirecting the customer elsewhere is not appropriate behavior for a trained customer service representative. Additionally, at the end of the conversation, Curtis did not provide a link that would allow me to leave feedback about my experience on your website.
I found this interaction unprofessional and disappointing.

I'm sorry to write this review. If anything went wrong with the machines or the app or anything, I never got my money back. I am fortunate to not need this anymore, as I moved to another place. I have some small amount on my account still - I'm giving it to you freely. I just hope I will never have to deal with you again. My experience dates from years 2019 to 2023.
