Very easy to set up and quick response
Very easy to set up and quick response. The process was a step by step guide,very easy to follow and understand. The online app gave me the info on how the process was progressing and when my card was sent. I paid for the rapid service and the 3 day turn around was spot on. All in all a great service.

The whole process was straightforward and good but the reason I got the card was so I could use it in Tescos near my college in York but occasionally when I try use it some of the staff won’t except it as proof…….

Inundated with spam marketing emails ever since...
Card is possibly useful but have not tried it.
Thoroughly dislike the amount of spam marketing "offers" sent through on email & there does not seem to be an option to turn off marketing emails only. Concerned about turning off all emails in case we miss something vital...
If Citizencard could confirm that unsubscribing from emails will only remove all the unwanted marketing ones, then that would be useful...

My card had run out so I needed to renew, and the process was easy with no problems. It went smoothly and I had my new card in no time. As yet not had to use my new card but sure it will be fine when I do.

Be patient and motivated or you will not pass the tests
Quite a faff with photo ID and a live image to prove I exist. Got through it but you have to be both patient and motivated.
An anxious wait until the card came.
I paid with PayPal, just in case my money was going into a black hole.

Clubs and bars say this is not accepted ID
The advertising led us to believe that the CitizenCard would be accepted ID to enable my daughter to gain entry to bars and clubs, however she tried several bars and clubs who all said the same things: that since stricter regulations a few years ago, they have not accepted the CitizenCard as legitimate ID. CitizenCard have refused a refund as they say the fee is not for the card but the ID check and processing. We have now purchased a Provisional Drivers License which the clubs suggested she get.

Basically a fraudulent company
Basically a fraudulent company. You must pay £35 upfront for them to constantly tell you that your documents are not real when they were to then be told if I want to try again I’d have to pay another £35. Refuse refunds and can never speak to customer service. I would avoid this company
