Specialist Wine Importers. We import fine wines to the UK and distribute them to restaurants, independent merchants, national retailers, and private individuals. Our aim is to source wines we believe in, made by people we like, to sell them to appreciative customers and have some fun along the way. The philosophy of Clark Foyster Wines Ltd is a simple one; we aim to be specialists in our chosen field and sell only wines in which we believe. Our range is eclectic and has developed by happy accident through experience of various aspects of the wine trade, from vineyard work, via independent retail, to selling to the multiples. For most of our wines we are the direct importer and in many cases we are exclusive agents for those wines. We believe in close contact with both our suppliers and our customers. Our growers are generally small family-run estates producing wines to the highest standards. They are keenly aware of the fierce competition of the British wine trade and welcome feedback from the UK market. At the same time, we like to provide maximum support to our customers by offering expertise and detailed information on the wines, gained through personal knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. As the UK market becomes increasingly polarised, we are confident that there is a real place for small specialist operators who can take advantage of their niche position to offer interesting wines and a genuinely informed opinion.See more
