Clayton Wood is an idyllic resting place for your loved one(s) - in this case it was my late wife.
The grounds are accessible at any time so it is easy to drop by and pay my resects from time to time and also manage the upkeep of the wooden commemorative plaque.

Lovely setting kind staff, we had an issue with the position of the plot on the day we were burying our ashes but was resolved with the minimum of fuss, and some beautiful flowers were sent to me that day for the error.

It's a beautiful natural site where my Mum and Dad decided they wanted to be...they are now there together.

Tess, Chris & Terry made my Dad's Ashes Burial from the initial enquiry to the day itself, the most compassionate experience for myself and my family .
Everything was explained professionally but with much genuine kindness and all were on the end of a phone should I have needed help or questions answered.
Clayton Wood is the most beautiful, serene place to finally lay to rest a loved one. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of using this natural and peaceful burial ground to go along there and talk to these amazing members of staff who look after the same.

The staff were helpful and considerate. The Oak Service Hall was just the right size for the funeral and the position of the burial ground in sight of the South Downs is lovely.
It would have been 5 stars but when I came to scatter some wildflower seeds on the grave, I couldn't find an outside tap to water them in. The office had just closed when I was searching for it.

I cannot express how lovely and caring everyone is at Clayton Wood.
Every time I called the staff they were just amazing - nothing was too much trouble . It brings real peace to know our beautiful mum is laid to rest somewhere so lovely and that they really care and the grounds are looked after so well .

Our mother had bought her small ashes plot, and Rowan Tree, many years ago. Staff were helpful in photographing her plot and tree, to send to us, some time prior to the day of the Interment of her ashes

The Hall was beautifully set up, warm, and comfortable for the service, which our family led, with no celebrant nor faith leader present.

The view through the large windows was stunning.

The walk to the interment plot was very respectful and the interment very moving. The plaque we ordered was perfect.

It was especially good that the less able members of the family were taken to the plot in a buggy, which was a big plus and very inclusive.

There were some hiccups prior to the day, but these were quickly sorted.

The ground is beautiful. The staff are helpful. It was a very good day and a marvellous send-off for our mother.

My two daughters and I with the help of Sally Winstone (who happens to be a childhood friend of my younger daughter and who knew my husband) and all the staff were able to prepare the farewell exactly as we wished. The view from the Oak Hall is inspiring and although it was a sad day for me it was the most peaceful and memorable funeral I have ever been to.

Beautiful natural burial grounds just perfect for our dear Mum.
The Team have been kind, considerate and massively helpful since our first visit to choose Mum's resting place through until our final goodbyes last month. Thank you all so much.
Especially looking forward to our visits during the summer months when the meadow flowers will be in bloom - Mum will love them.
