Same day clearing - not really

Advertisement promote same day clearing... this may be possible with a no issue import.. but when you have a issue.. you cannot resolve the issue quickly.. as you will not be able to speak to a live person.. and every on line communication takes a long time to get a response. Further, seems like your import issues will go to the bottom of the pile before someone will respond to your issue and assist in correcting things.
All the while your shipment waits and storage fees add up very quickly while you try to get the import cleared. It is my opinion that this company does not
provide good service.

Simple and quick

Had a shipment in customs, signed up online, next day it was all done. Didn't even have to call to initiate, just done quickly and correctly.

Would perfer to never use them again.

The email only setup for contact is horrible to start with when everything runs smoothly. But when you add any issue it’s just ridiculous. My shipper filled out the value of my shipment wrong when it was broken up into two shipments. Basically said each part of the shipment was valued as the whole so I was charged an extra 400 dollars in gst by Clearit without being informed first. The payment I authorized with the first rep that responded was for the one shipment. When two payments came out I messaged back inquiring what happened that there were two payments taken. Nothing. No reply from that rep. Ever. Had to start again messaging email on the website from scratch. The second rep could not provide me with any documents. Didn’t do anything to facilitate finding out anything. I spent half my day going back and forth through emails to my supplier and Clearits rep. Taking screenshots of documents and providing them to the rep from Clearit who eventually just support responding. It’s a couple weeks later now. I still haven’t gotten my overpayment back and haven’t had a day free to give to trying to approach it with Clearit again.
