Clineca Health 

I recently had breast augmentation with Clineca, 8 days post op and returned to the UK safely. I had an amazing experience. All the team we're great from the co-ordinators to the hospital staff. My friends and family were very cautious about me having the procedure, especially overseas so I wanted to write this review to put others at ease.

I really wanted natural results and the surgeon achieved exactly what I envisioned. He did a great job very precise tiny incisions, minimal pain and no drains required.

Here are the details -

Size: 255cc both breasts, went from a 32B to a 32C/D roughly, still a little swollen to measure. They measure your chest and thickness of your breast tissue to calculate your range of size options, you can also see the mock results with the 3D visualisation they show you in your consultation.

Placement: high profile

Implant: Motiva Ergonomix 1 implants (extra fee) they use the motiva brand as standard but there is an extra fee for Ergonomix, well worth it in my opinion.

Method: Subfascial, under boob incision 4cm approx

Bra: elmura compression bra (£50 each).

Hotel: Hilton Double Tree Umraniye

Hospital: Medicana Camlica, they use multiple but this was the one I stayed at.

Surgeon: Dr Orkun (fab)

Useful info -

Taxis: uber is used there approx 1,400TRY/£25 to the european side, blue mosque, grand bazzar etc.

Mall - great food options, pizza 250TRY/£4.50, chicken pasta 350TRY/£6.50.

Salon - princess kafor, across the road from the hotel, 500TRY/£10 for wash and blowdry when you need that help recovering.

TV - Nordvpn app (£12) to acess UK streaming services, tv in the room is basic not a smart TV.

The organization is on point. I didn't have to worry about anything.
Dr Hakan Aktas is also a really good and professional doctor. I felt really safe with him and i love my new Nose.

Having my rhinoplasty with Clineca was a smooth experience from first contact to the end of my operation recovery in Istanbul. They looked after me so well with great communication and always checking in! The nurse in the hotel made it easy to monitor progress and healing. My patient coordinator Melike was amazing from translating to being there 24/7 if I needed to ask questions along the journey. 10/10 would recommend Clineca!!

I researched tons of companies and clinics before coming to Turkey and I am truly so glad I booked with Clineca. I was super nervous when I first came but they really handled everything for me from start to finish. They even hunted down my lost passport when I lost it the day I was flying home! 😭 and personally delivered it to my hotel! I want to specifically mention Ahu as she was so helpful- so friendly and welcoming and really made me feel relaxed and helped me so much whenever I had any worries! She went above and beyond ❤️ my surgeon was Dr Hakan Aktas, I chose him and he did my nose PERFECTLY, I’m only a week out and already love it. I still look like me just better. Also my surgery was under 2 hours, SO quick. He’s so skilled and I’m so glad I chose him. I can’t recommend them enough! I’m from the uk and would come here again for any procedures with confidence. Also the hotel was lush, had a mall underneath for easy access to food, and the hospital was really fancy too. I had to use google translate to talk to the nurses, but they were happy to do this.

I had great experience at Clineca for my dental cleaning and whitening. The whole team was very professional. The doctor explained every step, checked on me constantly, and the results came out way better than I expected.

I have recently come home from having a rhinoplasty with clineca and have had the most amazing experience. From start to finish everything was so easy. My co-ordinator was always so quick to respond if i had any questions before travelling to istanbul. There was always someone checking in with me before and after my surgery, making sure i was okay and ensuring i had everything i needed. Even though there was a language barrier, the nurses and staff at the hospital were lovely and made me feel really looked after. Once transferred back to the hotel there was a nurse that checked in with me everyday, making sure i took all my medications properly and felt well. our co-ordinator/ translator messaged me everyday to see how i felt or if i needed anything which was lovely. Overall i would recommended clineca to anyone opting for surgery. I had the best experience and i am so happy with my results 😁

My experience with Clineca was a little rocky at times due to lack of communication or scheduling conflicts but I had an overall great experience and I’m glad I chose them. Getting rhinoplasty has been a dream of mine almost my whole life but here in the US, I’ve read that it can be anywhere from $10k-20k, that they just break your nose then send you home right after lol. When I found out how affordable it was in Türkiye, and that they have way better techniques, more skilled surgeons, I was sold. But the whole process sounded so scary. So much was included in the package that made the whole experience so easy, there’s no way I would’ve been able to travel 20+hrs and get surgery in another country while also having to worry about hotel, transportation, etc. Clineca has all that handled so it was never a worry in my mind.

The hotel was lovely! My friend and I LOVED the breakfast buffet, the staff were SO lovely, and there was a mall connected to it which made post-op so much easier than I thought it would be, I was able to walk to the food court to get dinner or to the market located inside the mall to get any snacks, juice, or anything I had forgotten for my trip (don’t forget dry shampoo 🥴 lol). Seriously the hotel was near perfect I just wish they had more accessible ice or an ice machine. By the 3rd day I was so swollen but you have to go all the way to the bottom floor bar to ask for ice :/. My friend loved the fitness area and I love that you can do laundry there so I can wash off the evidence of all the cats I hung out with in Istanbul before I got home to my cat jk lol

The hospital is hot! They told me to pack warm comfy clothes but if you run hot, definitely pack shorts and tank just in case. Whatever they gave me shortly after post op was nice but into the night, I was in pain and I wanted more meds but they kept telling me later. I think I read that the meds are more regulated in Türkiye so I’m sure it’s just their law. I do wish I brought some ibuprofen or something to the hospital. I like that the hospital kept me and my friend fed well!

I was really surprised at Clineca’s aftercare! I had read a couple of reviews that said Clineca’s aftercare was trash but I felt that wasn’t my experience at all. There’s a nurse on the bottom floor of the hotel that does daily checks, I didn’t have any complications but I felt really safe knowing that there’s a nurse there who can help if I did. They supply nearly everything you need, I wasn’t sure so I had bought everything prior to my trip, and was surprised that I didn’t actually need most of it. I even mentioned to the nurse that antibiotics make me sick and she gave me anti nausea pills. Sleeping pill on request too 😮‍💨🙏 My rep also checked in on me often to see how I was feeling.

As for the communication issues, I was really wanting my consultation a day before my surgery but during the pre-op bloodwork, I was told that the surgeon was still busy and that if I wanted to still have my consultation that day, to wait a few hours and go to the clinic and meet with him. I asked if someone will let me know when he was available and she said someone will let me know. That day was the only day I had set aside to sightsee on the European side but because me and my friend were waiting around the area to see the dr, we had wasted a huge chunk of time before I texted my rep, he seemed confused, and I was told that my consultation was rescheduled for right before my surgery. It was a huge bummer, we seriously spent like 4hrs just kind of hanging out in one area lol 😭 by the time we got to the cistern it was almost closing and the blue mosque was closed too. I think it was an honest mistake but it being my first day with Clineca and it being so disorganized, it sent me into a full panic mode before the surgery wondering if I was making a bad choice.
During my consultation, after I already had an IV placed and was already in a surgery clothes, me and the dr had a hard time agreeing on how my nose should look. I wanted a little bit of a slope, I have such masculine features, that I think a more feminine shaped nose would have softened my face but the dr wouldn’t do it and I wasn’t really understanding why not. I felt devastated and trapped. Luckily for all parties involved, my nose was so ugly that I knew literally any reduction or change would be such a big improvement. I’m already so thrilled with the results and my rep later explained that the decision not to give me a slope was based on the anatomy of my nose and to take less cartilage to maintain function. I do really appreciate that my surgeon chose safety over aesthetic, the natural look is growing on me. I just think a consultation 5min before surgery was WILD lol.
Overall, I think the staff at Clineca are so great but a little more streamlined internal communication would do wonders. Despite the hiccups I would choose Clineca again if I decide to have more work done.

I had an amazing experience with Clineca from start to finish, cannot fault them. Kaan the patient coordinator was so lovely, helpful & patient with me and answered every question I had (there were many) before booking and making any final decisions. After booking I had Melike as my assigned person before, during and after my surgery. She was so kind and friendly and put me at ease straight away before even arriving in Turkey, and always responded to me so quickly with any questions I had (again there have been many) She was with me from start to finish and I felt so comfortable with her and she was a great translator for me too. My surgeon was dr baris cin and he was amazing and explained everything so clearly and advised on things I was unsure about. Also very friendly with a good sense of humour. I am still healing at the moment but I am happy with my results so far :) x

The coordinators were great it was kinda scary when nobody in Turkey speeks English, even the people who were supposed to speak English were quite poor at it, i love u all tho
