Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product's quality, reporting issues such as leaking, splitting, and breaking after minimal use. Customers also found the price to be excessive for what they received, often feeling that the product was not worth the cost. The user experience was frequently criticized, particularly the difficult and time-consuming process of resetting the product by boiling it, with some finding it impractical and unsafe. Some people were dissatisfied with the customer service, mentioning unresponsiveness to warranty claims and issues with replacements. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with customer service, highlighting swift reactions to problems and complimentary gifts. While some found the product to be effective for pain relief and appreciated its reusability, others felt the heat did not last long enough and the product was a waste of money.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. This is a complete scam. Works once and then never works again. Feel like an idiot for buying as smelt a rat when purchasing

The item does not work after one use

The item does not work after one use. I have followed the instructions and one item still ends up hard as a rock. One lost crystals and can no longer be used. Their customer service is terrible. No one responds and if they do, they send you a useless generic link. Don't waste your $$$

Don't buy

Absolutely useless. The heat barely lasts 10/15 minutes, and having to reset it by immersing in boiling water is a frustrating, time-consuming hassle. Definitely not something for a full day of hill climbing or outdoor activity.

Avoid the Hand Warmers

Avoid! I bought these over priced hand warmers at the NEC back in March and just started to use them. It’s near impossible to activate them for a start and they only last about 15 minutes. Absolute rubbish!! I got the hard sell too claiming they will stay warm for a couple of hours.

What a bad product

What a bad product. Loses heat after 5-10min. Activate it several times without clipin the coin, and the best story is that, after a week, it bursts while heating it up.
60 euros gone, never to be repurchased again.

Rip off

I’m deeply disappointed by my purchase today at Jumping Mechelen (Belgium). Bought at a so called ‘50% reduction’ a back pad with cover and 4 boxes of hand warmers for the price of 120€. The salesman was very nice and promised it works for 1.5-2 hours. We tried all of the boxes. They only stay warm for about 10-15 minutes !!! Looked prices up on amazone etc after this disappointing result to find out similar articles can be bought online for a much cheaper price without ‘discount’! Feels like a total rip off!!! We have been shamelessly lied to!

I bought the package. Big MISTAKE!

I bought the neck and shoulder, the back the foot and warmers basically all of it. Went to use it for the first time for my neck pain. 1st the click buttons are extremely hard to manipulate and it had to holes in the neck and shoulder one. The gooey stuff leaked all over. Tried boiling the feet ones to reset them after taking forever to get them activated only for them not to reset. They started off soft and liquid but as soon as they cooled they were hard as a rock! I followed the directions for resetting twice. Customer service is horrible to work with. I have disputes charge with my CC company after no response. Then they tell me to mail them back since I am unable to return to where I purchased them at my expense! If you're lucky you may get a response 24-48hours after creating a ticket with them. Don't waste your money on your time especially if you have limited mobility. It takes an act of congress to get them activated. Definetly not as easy to use as demonstrated.

Haley at Eau Claire Wisconsin Oakwood Mall immediately had us sold on the heat packs: she was friendly, informative and knowledgeable- the product seems will help a great deal with the chronic pain!

COMPLETE SCAM

COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE.

This is absolute trash.

They sell this at conferences like it’s some serious medical product and charge hundreds of dollars for it. In reality, it’s a cheap plastic gimmick that becomes useless after ONE use. One. Use.

I later found the same exact thing online for a few dollars. Same quality. Same function. Same useless result. The price difference is pure robbery.

What makes me angry is how they fake legitimacy. Medical-looking booth, buzzwords, and extremely pushy salespeople who pressure you to buy on the spot. It’s embarrassing that this is allowed at medical and professional events.

I feel ripped off. This company should be ashamed.
Do NOT waste your money.

Absolutely shocking!

Absolutely shocking!! Prey on vulnerable people in pain and bombard you with harassing and persuasive selling tactics!! Claim to last for 2 hours when in fact they only last 15-20 minutes max! Burst easily.. and the reset process is such a chore!! Safety is a main concern when you have pain and limited mobility having to boil water to melt the crystals again to use.. I would rather use a wheat bag in the microwave, it’s faster and hotter for longer !! Horrendous to attempt to get a refund from. Company won’t reply and staff in pop up shops are rude and useless

Don’t Bother

Bought this product during a health conference a few months ago. Tried a sample with one of the staff members and absolutely loved it. As someone in their 30s going to the gym and walking a lot, I decided to buy the back and knee product and a few other items. Wow, was I wrong buying them. I tried everything from the directions to even what the staff member showed me and it still would not work. This product is either defective or it’s a scam. One of them I just use it as a cold pack on my back but you can buy that on Amazon for 75% less.

They do the job!!

I am surprised to see such a low review score!
Personally I love my clix hand warmers.
I buy a few every year when they are on sale, typically in Christmas popup shops.
I suffer badly with cold hands and Raynauds in my fingers. I have tried rechargeable hand warmers (broke after a few charges) and many varieties of gloves..all useless. These compact clix hand warmers are a life saver for me at rugby/football matches, on walks, out watching my daughter horseriding etc... I keep 2 in each pocket of my coat and I keep a few in my car.
I don't like the process of boiling them in a saucepan to 'reset' them..that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, BUT these work well for me for what I need.
The heat from them is good.
I have been using some of mine for almost 3 years now.
If you hold one tight in your hand, inside your jacket pocket, then it will keep your hands warmer for longer. 1 probably works for me for 30 mins.
I just bought 2 packs today.
My daughters sometimes bring 1 or 2 out with them so I buy new ones mostly to replace ones 'lost' in a random coat!

Absolute waste of money

I wouldn’t recommend wasting time or money on these products. I’ve had mine 5 months and used less then a dozen times and one broke. Now I’m battling their customer service about the warranty they have already reassured me I had and are now saying they cannot send me a replacement. 10/10 wouldn’t bother using these in the future and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Spent almost $200 on a faulty product and a falsely advertised warranty to guarantee the product.

Great product wonderful customer service

Purchased my back/knee belt plus hand warmers at pop up in local Shopping centre Handwarmer so good o went back for another box for my stepdaughter who loves them too
The back belt which was my main item for use great immediate warmth (yes the first use is a double click on the disc !!) works perfectly-only problem was the belt to put the pad in wasn’t long enough to be able to wear while moving around So I contacted Customer Service and was pleasantly surprised by how swiftly they reacted and sorted out another belt PLUS a complimentary gift. Very pleased
