ALMOST perfect. Not quite.
The item itself is excellent.
Unfortunately the height of the unit seat is higher than my old toilet and it cannot be lowered. The operation of the water is excellent but has to be adjusted by the engineer. The surround that was fitted to accommodate the toilet was sub standard with sloppy rough cut joints that are rather unsightly and will need to be fixed at a later date.
This is why I have downgraded my score of the toilet and the work done.
I would be prepared to reconsider my score if the faults were amended.

Good product, my only issue would be response times when faulty but it rarely develops a fault!

Lifesaving
My wife lives with Motor Neurone Disease and for both her and me as her primary carer, the Closomat Toilet is a lifesaver. It maintains her dignity and takes away those unpleasant tasks associated with toiletting.

As an occupational therapist I love the simplicity for clients
As an occupational therapist and ergonomist I love the simplicity of the Closomat. For many clients having a new way of cleaning after using the toilet needs to be straightforward. The flush options are straightforward and cognitively intuitive and the wash effective. I am not saying I always go for a Closomat - as an OT I determine what is the best fit for my client - however they would be my first option unless for other reasons. The thing I find most helpful is knowing the reps and having someone on the end of the phone if I have a question.

Just amazing
5 Years I had to wait for my disabled adapted wet room which has had its problems but the Closomat guys came and fitted my Palma Vita wet and dry toilet and it is an absolute godsend. Sitting very neatly in my wet room it is like a throne, I love the way it doubles as a standard toilet and then into the answer to all my problems. I was sceptical of it but it is truly amazing and its turned what was normally a half hour problem into a 5-minute breeze and i walk away clean and i am 100% overjoyed about the whole service provided by closomat, thank you so much for making my day.
