company asking for positive reviews in exchange for discounts

I held off writing a review even after I’d emailed 3 times to chase on my order from July, and then requested a refund which was ignored. But seeing the email go out earlier asking people to leave positive reviews in exchange for 50% off is just such terrible customer service, so please remember this when you see the flurry of good reviews today. I really wanted this company to do well as it’s such a great ethos but sadly it’s too good to be true. I had to request a chargeback from my bank in the end.

Do not buy!! SCAMMER

Update; they finally replied to my emails almost 3 weeks ago (today is the 25th oct 22) stating they would refund me, I’ve had no refund and no email even suggesting that the refund was even processed. Absolute joke of a company, joke of customer service and they’re absolute liars. Avoid avoid avoid

If I could give this 0 stars, I would.
This company is literally a girl who is scamming literally everyone!!

Ordered a mystery box back in MAY!!! no response from them regarding updates, they sent a mass email saying they f**kd up, I wanted to trust the process and believe in them as it’s a small business, but it’s a scam.
I have emailed 3 times requesting a refund, nothing has happened, no response despite their auto response saying they will reply within 7 working days. It’s been 7 weeks since my original email, but also 5 months from my initial order!!

So they’re now advertising for 50% off if you give them a positive review on here, I promise you it is not worth being scammed. How about close the website and sort the orders that are backlogged 🙄🙄

Do yourself a favour and do not order from here. Pissed off doesn’t even begin to explain how i feel.

i have now gone through my bank for back charging this, its unfair that this company is profiting of our money and not providing the goods, nor even giving us an update on the goods even after multiple sources of communication

Lovely and brilliant support!

Found CBB on TikTok and ordered right in the midst of a massive rush in orders— there was a bit of a delay due to the sudden influx, but when my order came it was of lovely quality! They communicated consistently through email and were very apologetic for the delays, and they’ve since grown their team quite a bit and have been excellent and responsive!

If you’re looking for good quality, brilliant prices, and you want to support a small business, this is absolutely the place to go : )

Great company! Crazy great prices!

Great company!
Lovely company, unfortunately a little backed up due to a huge response from tiktok, however they have been very clear and concise in trying to rectify all issues!
Prices of items also incredibly affordable which is a must!

Unprofessional

This company is really in over their heads and should be prioritising existing customers rather than trying to flog more stuff on tiktok and via email marketing. It’s really infuriating to receive advertising from a brand who are still months behind on orders and leave customers in the dark. I placed an order in May before they blew up on tik tok and I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were a small business with great prices but after waiting three months without any update on my order, I contacted them. They didn’t respond and a month later I requested a refund. To their credit, I did receive my refund a few weeks ago but the whole situation is just incredibly unprofessional. They should not be continuing to trade if they cannot handle the volume of orders and cannot give their customers accurate information about when to expect the goods they have paid for.

I would give 0 stars if possible

I would give 0 stars if possible. Ordered over a month ago and heard nothing back, emailed multiple times with no response and no sign of my order. Just a generic email telling everyone they’re busy. Still posting TikTok’s everyday but not processing my order or getting back to me.

Due to the high number of emails we receive each day, we are in the process of expanding our team to get emails responded to much quicker, as we know it’s frustrating to wait and it is resulting in reviews like this one. Negative reviews are super damaging to small businesses and as a team we feel heartbroken that we didn’t get it right on this occasion.

Regarding delays with getting orders out, we’re a small team growing a slow fashion brand, orders have been delayed due to going viral and supplier issues which are out of our control. We have been sending these orders out as quickly as possible and have employed 2 members of staff to help with this.

The extremely low prices of our products reflect the way in which we do practice. Our products are mainly mystery boxes and sometimes we do not have all sizes in stock, which can mean waiting for your size to come in stock. But we do prioritise orders by date, meaning oldest orders get sent out first.

We have had a delay banner on our website for some time, along with ‘pre-order’ product descriptions, explaining that we cannot get your order out straight away.

We would like to remind you that we are not Amazon, we’re a tiny team going as fast as we can whilst still trying to provide a quality service. We feel as though with the amount of emails we’re receiving despite the delay banner on the website that we must choose between providing a quality customer service experience OR quantity and just replying to as many people as possible but not really solving the problem. We want to provide the best customer service experience possible hence expanding our team.

We want to change any negative connotations of our brand and fix any issues. If you could please get back to us with your contact details so we can speak privately it would be appreciated.

Happy with my order! Great communication!

I ordered a mystery vintage jeans box after following on instagram. There was a small delay with a high rush of orders due but this was well communicated in emails and on their social medias with complete transparency. I don't mind this at all as small businesses are run by real people and guarantee a personalised customer experience.
I'm very happy with the high quality products I received and would definitely buy again!

SCAM, do not order

I have emailed multiple times about my order that I placed at the beginning of July (4 months ago) to no response. Then I asked for a refund and still no response. Do not order from here!! I have not received my order or even an update about my order! Yet they still keep posting on tiktok advertising and sending promotion emails when they can’t even get their current orders filled. Even if some people do receive their packages (which I have seen no evidence of) they should not be selling more and more when they can’t even supply their current customers.

Thrifty and thriving

I ordered off the back of the infamous viral videos on Tiktok back in May. Sure, there was a delay with the order but, the communication from the team was Bob on.
My order eventually arrived and while I did have a query at first with it, the team again were amazing at getting back to me.
It’s a fab brand with a great ethos and it’s much better to shop second hand, thrift etc than to let these items go to landfill so every box is ticked for me!

cute small business!!

Ordered back when they did the Levi jeans! Amazing service, the team was so fast with my order and I even received a free bar of soap from a small business. They have struggled a lot and is a business that definitely is worth the money, they are so affordable and provide an accessible alternative to fast fashion with a hint of mystery, 100% recommend. Just be patient and kind :)
