I have had treatment from Paul over the last 15 years for back/neck pain. I find that his treatments always sort me out and get me up and running again. I trust Paul's judgement and he explains what he is doing and what he is trying to achieve which I like. My most recent treatments were in July 2021 and my pain has gone, in fact my acute pain has gone but also my chronic hum of pain that I have been putting up with for some time has also disappeared. Being pain free is priceless !

After having problems with my ankle and also sciatica I went to my GP and didn`t really get an answer to the problem`s except pain killers. These worked but made me very sleepy.
While I have visited Daniela at BAC she has been able to get rid of the pains with acupuncture etc. without me taking pain killers, and to help loosen the various muscles to let me walk straight, without limping or walking like a penguin.
The clinic is professional while also friendly with Daniela listening to what the problems are and fixing them I have been helped immensely and for that I am really grateful and would really recommend the clinic.

I am currently taking part in treatment for chronic back pain. I have been very fortunate to have Daniela as my consultant. She is very professional, patient, kind and encouraging. I had terrible chronic back and shoulder pain and suffered for a long time. Then I decided to get some help and it really has changed my life. The treatment eased the pain which is now all gone, i have followed the advice from Daniela about posture, breathing techniques and exercises which is helping me fix the problems with my back that have developed over the years, especially after having children when i felt there was a massive change in my posture. Also Daniela has such a lovely manner, she makes you feel at ease, she explains everything the issues i was having and why and how we were going to fix them, she is absolutely amazing! The receptionists are really friendly too and would help with changing appointments and send reminders which i really like. A session with Paul was also great, he is very knowledgeable and very thorough. Im so glad i actually got some help because i suffered with alot of pain for such a long time and the back clinic has changed my life, i cant thank them enough!

Fully recommended. Following back and neck issues after working from home for a year I took a course of treatment at the BAC. The pain and discomfort reduced within a few treatments. I have been given some simple exercises and stretches to maintain this and improve my posture generally. You must make the effort to do these exercises but they are very basic and can easily fit into a busy daily schedule (speaking from experience).

Johnny is such a lovely person and did everything he could to help and explain what was happening. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I have been coming to see Paul since January, when I shuffled in in my coat, feeling much older than I am and not able to stand up straight, stand on one leg, and walking up the stairs was impossible, I had resorted to climbing the stairs on my hands and knees. This was not what I wanted, but Paul has worked his magic on me. After just 3 weeks I was able to walk up the stairs and the shuffle has now gone. Further treatment means that, I am now able to walk properly again and for so much further than before. My asthma has also improved to such an extent that I have not used my inhaler for months now. I am also now able to get down on the floor with my grandchildren again, something I thought I would never do again. Thank you so much Paul you have made my life so much better. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and his team they have made so much difference to my life.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Backcare and Acupuncture Clinic. Daniela is amazing! I was suffering really badly with frozen shoulder and was sceptical that anything would help as the pain was so bad I could hardly bear to move it. I couldn’t dress myself easily or even put my coat on unaided. Sleeping was almost impossible and the whole thing was impacting hugely on my life. From the first meeting Daniela made me feel at ease and explained everything to me clearly always checking I understood. The acupuncture has been instrumental in controlling the pain and with her hands on physio and homework sessions I am now pain free. If you are in pain get in touch with them I can guarantee you won’t regret it. All the staff at Backcare and Acupuncture Clinic are very welcoming and are a super team but Daniela, you are my star. x

Before coming here I shuffled around like a bleak & impoverished elder, weak & withered I would groan as I stood from the sofa.

As a video producer I was struggling to last the day on video shoots and resorted to barking orders to my team, "Carry this camera bag for me! My spine can't cope." Like some poor man's entitled Speilberg. My film team hated it and I did too.
Even worse, my new romantic partner I'd swiped on Tinder started to question if she was a girlfriend or a part-time carer.

So after looking at a shadow of my former self in the mirror I knew something had to be done. I realised a 34 year old shouldn't resemble Quasimodo.

After a few months of treatment at the hands of Jonathan I feel more like a Contortionist. Strong, flexible & able to fold into any size tupperware at a moments notice.

I can also now carry a camera bag and a tripod simultaneously and my team no longer hate me.

With the odd exaggerations above the truth is Jonathan is the most personable.....person you are ever likely to meet and makes you feel totally at ease whilst hes putting your back right. You can tell he is passionate about chiropractic and helping put you right. Thanks for getting me back to a place where I'm no longer keeling over on film shoots 🙌

Paul and is team have an excellent Knowledge of back care to be honest like nothing I've encountered before with several physiotherapists and chiropractors in the past, the acupunture combined with the realigning of my posture as made a tremendous difference to my lower back pain and I thank them for their wonderful care.

Eight weeks ago my back decided to freeze after years of suffering back pain. I was in absolute agony, couldn't sit, stand or walk. I booked into the Backcare & Acupuncture Clinic hoping they could help. I'm really glad I did! Jonathan was very professional, considerate and thorough in assessing what my problem was. After devising a plan of twice weekly sessions for the first 7 weeks and now a weekly session for 6 weeks with tailored exercises to do at home, I am able to get about and do what I need to do pain free! Jonathan is correcting my pelvic misalignment and has taught me how to stand, sit and walk correctly maintaining my posture.
I did have to have 2 sessions of acupuncture administered by Daniella in my second week which really did help. This shows that all the practitioners in this clinic work as a great team for the good of the patients. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for giving me a better quality of life.

I have been going here a little over 8 weeks now, one session per week and the results have been fantastic. The facility is warm and welcoming and the staff are great, but in particular Jonathan has been unbelievable. Not only has he assisted me in relieving back pain and tension ( and continues to do so ) but he has given some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. Super friendly, likeable, caring and polite from the minute he meets you, and is always happy to talk with you and provide you with any information you need which will benefit you during your time at the clinic and after.

Johnny has done wonders since I first visited in November. He did a in depth consultation and result session and knew straight away what my issue was. After 7 weeks of treatment my backs feel brand new most days and that because of the detail he goes into each session and with all the exercises he’d like me to do between sessions. Even if the odd issue during the 12 week program he knows exactly what is happening in the back and makes you feel at ease. Id recommend him to anyone who is having slight back issues.

After over thirty years of pain and using medication with little or no relief for severe back pain I tried the Acupuncture Clinic. Within two treatments I started to feel less pain and gained more movement, I am now more mobile and have a vast reduction in the pain level of the past years, thank you Daniela.

I was pleasantly surprised by how pain free my treatment was, the team are highly professional. I’m still in recovery but all in all I am very happy.

I have been seeing Daniela at the clinic since May 2020. I initially went there due to nerve pain in my arms and legs and back pain caused by minor vertebrae degeneration at the top of my spine. 6 months later and after lots of exercises given to me and spinal massages, I no longer have any nerve pain or back pain! Daniela is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and is passionate about her job. The clinic is also very clean and the rooms are spacious.

I was advised to try acupuncture by my specialist physio and pain management nurse. I had been suffering with an ongoing shoulder injury for a number of years so decided to give it a try. Paul and Daniela devised a treatment programme comprising of acupuncture and massage techniques. After just a few weeks my pain had reduced resulting in me taking a lower dose of medication and my range of movement had improved massively! I’m sure Daniela won’t mind me saying that she has healing hands, I don’t know what I would have done without both Paul and Daniela.

I had been suffering with back pain for a while before I saw Daniela i was initially apprehensive but she is amazing and after my initial consultation and putting me at ease, knew exactly what the cause was. I’m still going once a month but the dull ache that was constant has gone. I get a stiffness every now and then but I’m so happy with the treatment I’ve been receiving and enjoy going for a top up which I’m sure will not be required as often. Having suffered with back pain for a number of years, I had begun to think I had to live with it. Sitting at a desk for most of my career had taken its toll, especially as I had paid little attention to my posture.
Slowly increasing pain was a depressing experience, so I looked for help.
I made an unannounced visit to the BAC Clinic and was seen straightaway by Daniela. She was enthusiastic, professional and wanted to help.
After a thorough and insightful assessment, Daniela impressed me with her knowledge and confirmation of how she could help.
I learnt about my posture, flexibility and ways to improve this.
With some quick and easy exercises concentrating on the necessary areas, I was surprised by the improvements I made and felt.
By the end of 2/3 visits I felt an 80% improvement both in pain and frequency of my symptoms!
Following further visits this continues to improve and I can enjoy life in comfort!
This has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Following COVID procedure has not helped but it’s business as usual and everything is clean and hygienic.
From my experience, I am no longer being controlled by pain and discomfort. For that I’m truly grateful.

Daniela is amazing, she was very thorough with her consultation I'd never really had problems with my back before but my job was starting to take its toll, but she managed to correct my body posture which was causing the pain,she made sure I understood what she was telling me and how I could go forward to make things better. The clinic is very covid safe and all the staff are very welcoming. I was always greeted with a friendly welcoming smile, if I have any future problems I wouldnt hesitate to return. A very professional team!
