We fully accept that our communication and project management at the start fell short of the high standards we set ourselves, and we have since taken steps internally to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
To clarify the timeline: the main installation was completed within the typical 6–8 week advisory period. During our Sales Manager’s visit on 22nd May we identified a short list of remedial items and apologised in person for the earlier poor communication. We then carried out a follow-up visit on 2nd June and a final check on 20th June, after which the necessary replacement parts were ordered. Our Managing Director emailed you on 5th August to arrange fitting these parts, and since then our team has continued to try to agree a suitable date.
We absolutely want to complete these final touches to your satisfaction. Please note that limited availability inevitably delays the completion of this remedial work, and that part of the timeline is therefore outside our direct control. We’re keen to arrange a visit at a time that works for you and to bring this matter to a close.
Once again, we apologise for the early shortcomings and thank you for your patience as we work with you to complete the final items. Please reply to the 5th August email or contact us directly on 01698 888228 or info@clydewindows.com
so that we can book the remaining work without further delay.

This is an update in order to reply to Clyde's response....I understand the company's desire to be professional and have smooth communication....the job eventually was professionally completed.... but my bone of contention was the issue of integrity....the head person at the office who I was dealing with was less than honest....when I asked 3 times why a certain serious problem was performed by the lovely fitters...the head person ignored it!!... he didn't offer any explanation to why it was done...he simply responded by saying ....your affected window will be replaced....which it was...my point is with professionalism comes integrity!!

Grey Anthracite Windows
Absolutely delighted with my new Anthracite Grey windows fitted by Clyde Windows on 12/08/2025.
Shug and Reece were tremendous fitters, They were very friendly , hardworking men who also tidied up every room on completion.
Owen the Salesman is a credit to the company. A very traditional , professional salesman.
The office staff are very professional and helpful, particularly when I changed my mind on the handles of the windows and they promptly dealt with this and managed to get the order amended.
They have done a first class job and it has modernised my 1970's bungalow and gave it a whole new look. Love the Diamonds in the hoppers matching my storm doors , also supplied and fitted by Clyde Windows.
I would recommend this company for Windows, Doors and general Home Improvements.

Good communication throughout with the workforce arriving exactly when they were supposed to. Worked diligently and cleaned up and the end of each working day.
