Fantastic platform for DIY investor. Many great features. I really like the speed with which dividends are credited to the account - always there by 7am on payment day. Excellent customer service.

I recently opened an account and I loved the UI. The app is very smooth although I did have some issues with the app. Firstly you have to pay if you want to use an ISA while some other brokers like Trading 212 allow you to open one for free. Secondly they don’t have fractional shares and this is a very big problem since some of the stocks/etf’s prices are very expensive for 1 share and fractional shares makes it easy for those who don’t really have that much upfront and are looking to begin their investment journey. Personally I wouldn’t mind paying the monthly fee to use the ISA but they not offering fractional shares in this day and age is a very big problem. I would suggest for others to look elsewhere like Trading212, Investengine or even Freetrade. Besides these two major problems they are alright. I would’ve given it a five star rating but these two issues made me take out two stars

I opened a cash ISA and set up a transfer in from another provider. The other provider has now moved the funds and closed my old account. However, the funds do not yet show in my CMC Invest Cash ISA and so I am losing interest everyday the funds are not credited to my account. I both secure messaged and phoned CMC but could only get a stock response that it could take 3 to 5 business days. So, in the meantime, I'm losing over £10 of interest everyday because the funds are now in limbo. In the 21st century with almost instantaneous financial transactions possible, it's unfathomable that the transfer process can take my money, yet leave me with no return because it is in 'a 3 to 5 day transfer' process. When I asked CMC on the phone exactly where my money is during the process (because someone is obviously benefiting from it - albeit not me), they said they didn't know. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't made the move to CMC Invest........All I'd say to anyone reading this review is to think carefully if you're considering an ISA transfer with CMC.

Opened transfer cashisa via app. Good experience up to the point of transfer of cash. Was concerned about all the info they required for a cash only isa. Net assets /Salary etc .

If you dont need it dont ask for it.

Interest rate was competitive. Hence the attraction and wariness on data.

Decided not to proceed.

Customer Service wise they responded quickly to my request to close.

CMC markets are COMPLETE SCAMMERS !!!! Don't believe them whatever you do , they will spend weeks reeling you in and you pay in and they NEVER pay you out, they will use EVERY excuse to get you to invest more ,PLEASE dont fall for it !!!!!!!@

Great and simple app, not too cluttered. Easy to open account with a good offer on account fees. Will be transferring my S&S ISA and SIPP.

Very quick and easy application. Immediately I got a response and I being kept informed as to the progress of my Isa switching with a daily countdown update

After slight hiccups with downloading the app and finalising my personal details, CNC Invest were quick to rectify. Also had slight problems with transfer ISA from another provider but don't think it was their fault, however, CMC phoned me to get it sorted swiftly. From start to finish 2 days!! Amazing 👍
At the moment the app seems straight forward to view balance for a cash ISA.

For a first time user it was simple and easy to navigate with a great summary of one’s transaction for record purposes.

Extremely slow processing of transfer between existing customers, started process on 6/09/24 and still not finalised. Called and emailed several times without any outcome. Provide lame excuses and continually fail to meet their own timeframes for actioning agreements. Disrespectful and unreliable

Have been trying to withdraw my money for 10 days, been emailing phoning every day, they keep saying I sent a message to technical, every day! Numerous emails to send in bank statement, sent it 5 times, I was on phone with them when I sent 4th, she verified it, still nothing, is this company a scam, had no problems taking my money?

I decided to instruct a pension transfer back in April to their new pension product- it has been nothing but a shambles the whole way, they outsource the work to Quai who I get the feeling have no clue how to enact an in specie transfer.

Numerous chasers and now a formal complaint to be told- the complaint needs to be investigated before the transfer will move.

Most firms would have ensured the transfer was completed as a priority before then looking at what went so wrong. I cannot recommend them for any potential pension transfers until they sort out their back office.

Numerous chasers by the app are met with meaningless platitudes - unbelievably poor experience here.

Brief analysis of stocks ok, maybe knowing who recommended buying/selling would be helpful?

Very easy app to use and lots of helpful information too to help me choose where to invest.
