Such a range in every box, and such quality too! Fairly pricy, true, so best taken at a steady pace. It's also impressive how sturdy the actual box is, seeing that it can fit through one's front door... See more

I thought I would try this as an alternative but found the chocolates far too sweet and no real flavour of chocolate, more like a Thornton's or Cadbury's selection. I realise that many people prefer t... See more

Poor customer service

I ordered a trial via an Amazon Local offer. Received two boxes on 27 June 2015. Unfortunately with a BBE date of June 2015. Not a great start. Have contacted customer services to complain and had no response. Very poor service. Will definitely not join their tasting club and recommend that others do not use this company. A shame though as the chocolates were not bad and would have liked to sample more.

Great chocolates, good value when on offer

I placed about 4 orders that never showed up, when I emailed to ask about them they said my payment hadn't gone through. These were 4 different credit cards, all with enough money on them. Could have been a technical error (weird, on 4 different occasions?) but it would have been nice if they'd emailed to let me know there was a problem, especially as the last one was meant to be a Christmas gift.

However, I do love their chocolates. The other boxes that did show up were delicious, each box has one or two really unique flavours that I've never tasted in chocolate form before!

Charged and chocolates not received

I ordered a platinum collection which consisted of two boxes of chocolates for £25, they have charged twice totalling £50, I have not received the chocolates, I can't contact the company over the phone as they are not taking phone calls, I have emailed them at customer support numerous times and they are not responding to my emails, so at the moment i am £50 down with no chocolates

POOR

I ordered chocolates via the Gourmet Society offer and have to say I am thoroughly disappointed. I wanted the chocolates for a gift for friends that I am not seeing until the middle of July; the chocolates arrived last week with a best before date of the end of June - no use to me whatsoever. Have contacted them to inform them but have had no helpful response.

Having read all reviews wish I had seen them before I ordered. Just hope they take my e-mail as instruction not to send any more chocolates as will not be happy.

I really wished id reviewed this company before using them. They have had £19.95 out off me every month for 10 months. I will be spreading the word about this. I am discussed.

Scam artists

Beware, the website says when you order a box you can 'decide' whether to join their tasting club. What they don't say is that they decide for you, you won't know until they send you another box and charge you £20 for the privilege which they refuse to refund.

Absolute scam artists, won't be using them again.

they send more chocolates you don't want and won't refund the charge

I ordered a trial of this company's chocolates with an offer from the Gourmet Society. It clearly stated they wouldn't send more until I provided feedback. I didn't provide feedback yet today another box of chocolates arrived in the post. I called to advise I didn't want them and was basically told "tough".
They now say I needed to advise them I didn't want them but this was not the information I received as it was a flyer that came with my Gourmet Society membership.
Not happy that they swindle people this way - its not a good way to achieve ongoing business. I will find a different company to purchase chocolate from in future.

NEVER AGAIN

Like others before me I ordered one box of chocolates for my mother in law at Xmas only to receive a further box in Jan which I was not aware that I had ordered. On attempting to speak with their 'customer services' department I could only get a recorded message. I also e mailed them only to be informed that I must have agreed to this as it is in the terms and conditions and they would not have sent the first box without this agreement. I was told to check the website, when I tried to do this the only way I could get to that information was to place another order and there was absolutely no chance of that. Basically they have shown no interest in this issue at all and I can only assume that this is the only way they can do business.

So BE WARNED if you even contemplating ordering make sure you read everything and that you know exactly what you are letting yourself in for.

The best of the best

Cocoa Boutique has the most amazing range of flavours and textures you will find in the one place. Everything from smooth white chocolate to intense dark chocolate covered ginger. It is worth trying out the sampler selection to check for yourself, you will be hooked.

A chocaholic's dream!

I really look forward to receiving my tester box each month. These are master craftsmen with the most wonderful imagination in putting their flavours together and creating absolute works of art. I'm not, generally, a fan of praline, but even they are the most delicious that I have ever tasted.

Cocoaboutique is, indeed, the leader of the pack and, with this standard of taste and presentation, is likely to remain so.

TASTY TASY VERY VERY TASTY

A impressive looking array of tasty chocolates and majority lived up to there looks.
Think the box could be of better quality and more stylish looking to go with the Cocoaboutique quality.

What's not to like?

What's not to like about Cocoa Boutique? Well I haven't found anything yet. A monthly box of high quality chocolates at a good price. A good mix of tastes, flavours and textures in each box that will tickle, tantalise, soothe and surprise your taste buds. You won't like all of them - but that's the idea - trying out new flavours. I have certainly found a few taste combinations that I would never have even thought about before. Your eyes will also get a treat feasting on these beautifully crafted chocolates.
Oh - actually I do dislike one thing. As there are two of each chocolate in every box I have to share with my partner or else he sulks!

WARNING! A disingenuous & highly suspect company!

Like numerous other reviewers, I have had an appalling experience with this company and would warn others of the underhand nature of the ordering process. I ordered a SINGLE box of chocolates for a friend's birthday & then contacted the company to ensure no further orders were processed. I consider myself quite savvy where such offers are concerned and was fully aware that such companies rely on people forgetting to cancel further orders so ensured I didn't fall into their trap. Said friend received her box of chocs in November 2012 then moved house in December. Being an army family, we also moved abroad recently and have therefore had little chance to scrutinize our bank accounts regularly. To my horror, I have only recently noticed that there have been no less than 8 monthly withdrawals from our bank account totalling nearly £150. I have contacted the company to explain my position and offering to provide evidence that the address they were sending the chocolates to was an empty army quarter and to state categorically that I cancelled any further orders from the outset. All I got in response was an outright refusal to appreciate or accept my viewpoint and the absurd justification of swindling me out of £150 on the grounds that they 'have no records of any cancellation via phone, e mail or through your account with us' . How convenient!? I imagine that many more people will be swindled in this way so beware. My only crime is not having checked my bank account more frequently. I shall be fighting this one all the way and am now seeking advice from the small claims courts to recoup my loses as I am outraged that a supposedly 'reputable' company can get away with this. Other customers BE WARNED.
