I contacted the bookings email as stated on the website and asked for a lipstick making experience for my hen trip in the summer, I initially got a reply with a quote that didn't match the price list on the website so queried this but also asked to proceed with booking anyway.
Since then there hasn't been a single reply to any communication method I've tried. I have emailed 4 times, and messaged 3 times on social media (Instagram said to expect a reply within 24 hours) and still nothing...

Really baffling, and so disappointing as we'd love to have done the experience and would have spent a substantial amount of money with them, but the company seems to ignore any form of communication at the moment and this is preventing them securing future bookings.

This company never answers phone or e mails , I have tried to unsubscribe twice from their mailing list and still I get mails, they don't respond to e mails, they don't answer their phone. Finally I have had to report as spam and block them dreadful service

What a brilliant experience. We were warmly welcomed by Mel and Juan - both very professional and could not have been more helpful in finding the perfect shade for my friend and I. Their new premises is stylish and just a lovely place to be - a unique present and will return. Thank you

Walked away with an unflattering colour after 3 attempts. My daughter was luckier and had a lovely colour made. May depend on the skill of staff member? Disappointed.

It was our works Xmas treat, and what a treat it was.
Having my very own lipstick made for me was superb. Mel suggested red...i said go on then and boy,did she nail it! Its the perfect shade of red and i love it. Mel certainly knows her stuff. Lots of laughs and prosecco, something every lipstick wearer should do.
After we went to Harrods and the lady in Dior asked me what lipstick i was wearing as it suited me so well and made my eyes look so blue. Such a lovely compliment which topped off a lovely experience.
And, thats what i called my shade. Red? Go on then!

Made a lipstick with the lovely Mel on Thursday, she was so great! She got our colours so right and we made beautiful lipsticks because of her. We were in the Albermarle store and would strongly recommend, 10/10!

Went to Code 8 Beauty as a birthday treat with my mum. We had an amazing experience and was served by Melissa. She made the experience unforgettable. Melissa personalised the appointment and made us feel very comfortable and welcome throughout the whole experience. We will both be recommending code 8 beauty to all our friends and family and we are excited to visit again. Thank you Melissa for making the experience so enjoyable for my mum and I.

Offer on instagram from code 8 for free lip product only had to pay postage, waited 5 /6 days still pending dispatch so emailed and was told was a hold up and would be sent next day, just received an email stating no delivery to Iom so have been refunded postage paid, Seriously who doesnt post out to Iom its 2025 🫣

What a fab experience we had at Code 8! I purchased the bespoke lipstick making for two, for my sister’s birthday. Juan and Melissa looked after us and were super skilled and friendly. The prosecco flowed and the end result was really the most lovely colour lipstick I have ever owned. I love it! Naming it was also fun and made it even more personal.
Definitely recommend this for a special treat. We are already planning to go back again and take friends!

We had the most wonderful time at Code8 in London! Melissa looked after us so beautifully, she took a genuine interest in each of us, made us feel so special, and really went above and beyond to make the experience personal and fun. Creating our own custom lipsticks was such a unique treat, and Melissa’s warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail made it truly memorable.

Great service in store, appalling on line. And never receive the free gift that is advertised - even when I emailed and raised with customer service!

I had a very disappointing experience with Code8. I reached out via Instagram, as their automated reply promised a response within 24 hours. However, no one got back to me in time, and I ended up receiving the wrong product shade.
When I asked for clarification, their customer service shifted blame to me for not using the “official” email channel, even though their Instagram message never mentioned this. They also gave inconsistent responses, first stating that they would contact me within 24 hours, then claiming Instagram isn’t a valid channel for support.
While I’m willing to cover return shipping, I feel the lack of professionalism and constant excuses is unacceptable. I will be sharing my experience to warn other customers about the poor service and misleading communication.

I had a Make-Your-Own lipstick session with my sister, and it was utterly magical! We were with Eli, who was amazing. Her talent in creating the perfect shades for us was extraordinary, the most flattering colour I've ever worn.

Avoid this place it’s a waste of time. I order from them only to be met with an empty box shipped to my house which was so disappointing.

Had great fun customising my own lipstick with Juan and Melissa. They were really knowledgeable and made our time there really enjoyable

I am disappointed that i’m having to write this review! I contacted bespoke and wrote them a long letter why I hadn’t used my voucher yet! I started a new job that was very hectic, barely having anytime for myself. I am a hard young, working, individual, hence why i hadn't used it. I thought they would be more understanding of this! It was a £80 bespoke lipstick experience. When i had time for myself i was ready to use it! I don’t know anywhere that does 6 months vouchers! When I spoke to one of the ladies on the phone she was very rude. My auntie who bought me the voucher, has always recommended you and had bought you lots of customers. I work in the beauty industry and i would’ve bought you loads of customers myself. For the money i gave you it costs you nothing to sell a voucher! There was no compassion or understanding from a young lady. There was no service from you, and I would’ve loved this experience and I still would.

Was given voucher as a present for their "custom make your own lipstick" experience.
I had misplaced the voucher in a house move and called to ask if it could under the circumstances be extended. I thought it was only a couple of weeks past expiry and that the voucher had been valid for a year. Apparently it was valid for six months and they would not extend. Very brusque and rude on the phone after having spent ages trying to find a human being/customer services to talk to. I don't know any companies that issue gift cards/vouchers for less than a year. Wouldn't bother with this company.

How can you ever speak to anyone at this company. I have sent emails and messages on messenger. Generic messages back saying contact will be made in 48hrs. Unfortunately I am still waiting!

We took our friend for her birthday and we had the best time. Richard the manager was absolutely brilliant, showing 100% care and attention for my friend and her lipstick choice. We had Prosecco and the whole experience was amazing and highly recommended. Thank you for such a great time. It was a lovely event and a great experience for anyone who wants to make a friend feel special. See you again x
