Great school wear, last along time and washes well 😊

First time buyer with Coes. I needed to call to confirm something, and spoke to a very helpful assistant who called back as promised. Ordered item online, which was received quickly and well packaged. Would definitely recommend.

Hopeless payment systems. After two attempts, I gave up. The first message was that I had entered the wrong code (?); the second was that my card had expired. However, I have entered my details correctly, and my credit card is valid. Plus, they want a phone number with your billing address when there is no need for it.

It's always a pleasure to shop in Coes. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All the different departments are beautifully laid and presented too.

I have shopped at Coe's in Ipswich and Felixstowe for 3 years and have always had excellent customer service from every member of staff in both stores.
They are all friendly, helpful and always happy to chat.

If there is a particular item you want, they will go out of their way to get it for you.
This is how shopping should be. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I visited the Maldon branch of Coes last week as I had stupidly left buying a suit for a wedding until the last minute. The staff there were excellent and very attentive. They managed to find me the perfect suit which looks very flattering despite the addition of some lockdown weight ! I was concerned about the alteration of the trousers being done in time but within two days they were back and fitted perfectly. A huge thank you to Alison, Adele, Shireen and the rest of the team who came to the rescue and helped avert a last minute disaster. I have already recommended the store to friends and work colleagues and I will be returning very soon.

When in for a new pair of running shoes, the staff are really professional and friendly from the moment you step through the doors.

Go to the sports department and its nicely laid out and the shoes are labelled so if you know what you need, then its easy to find the right ones. If you don't know, then the staff are on hand to help you out.

Following a recent inquiry into the Ipswich stores in house Fred Olsen, I was informed of staff shortages due to illness, resulting in an arrangement to pick up the desired Travel Vouchers later that day after lunch.
Access from an additional key holder to office safe, freeing up the required vouchers.
As the phones were diverted to Beccles I and the travel consultant didn't appreciate our locations so blindly made this arrangement, only to be thwarted by my subsequent arrival to the Norwich Road store & in house office locked up.

Its probably not the first time over the years anybody has said that.
Nevertheless.
That man went over and above the call of duty given my predicament with a late wedding gift, notification by the postal service, of three more days.
15 minutes & three or four phone calls later, one of which was a request to his son to pop home and salvage a voucher or two from his bureau in the home office.
Although never needed, as the kind office Lady from Fred Olsen phoned back with instructions too William where the required vouchers in Ipswich could be found.
Wil" Thank -you Sir for donning your "The Red Cape & Boots and coming to the rescue of a rapidly deteriorating situation - The "Red Pants" outside the trousers were not required on this occasion.

Have gone above and beyond for our little lad's uniform, Thank you Andrew, in the Ipswich branch.

Called the main number today and got out though to Paris in menswear as I was after a specific shirt. He couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He called the local stores to locate the product,made sure price was right and gave advise on sizing. His customer service was brilliant and I would highly recommend them and will definitely look at their website for further purchases just a shame we don’t live closer to visit in person! Thanks for the help!

I went to Coes with my daughter to get some school uniform today, the girl that helped us was called Drew and she was just a delightful, happy and helpful young lady, I can’t thank her enough, great shopping experience from a dad who doesn’t like shopping!!!

Visited the store in Ipswich for the first time today, looking specifically for tennis shoes. Not only was I delighted at the choice and (sale) prices, but the customer service was very helpful and second to none. All-in-all, a surprising and very enjoyable shopping experience.

Received excellent communication throughout my order and very quick delivery. Will definitely purchase from here again.

Good cricket gear from here, reasonably priced and well made.
The customerservice were helpful when I rang to ask about my delivery.
I also find the website helpful in finding exactly what i'm looking for.

Purchased an item a couple of months ago which developed a fault - contacted the manufacturer directly and they asked me to raise it to Coes.

Alison and the team were fantastic in resolving a return outside of the normal 30day window when the item developed a fault.

They liased with the manufacturer when they were unable to secure a like for like replacement and offered an updated version. Due to style and functional changes the newer garment was not what I was looking for so they were happy to refund the original purchase including all postages costs. Excellent communication in keeping me updated of what was going on.

Grade A customer service and I will not hesitate to shop via their website again!
