I had an account verified on Coinmerce…

I had an account verified on Coinmerce during last week. As a newbie, I wanted to try cryptocurrencies so I transferred to my Coinmerce account, from which I withdraw to my DeFi so I could SWAP to other cryptos.
First transfer was okay, the support very helpful!
When I tried my next transfer to Coinmerce, I couldn't withdraw my BTC out because support asked me a video call and said my DeFi is compromised. I own my DeFi!!! It's ridiculous...so far no reply to solve my withdrawal of my BTC!

They send emails from which you cannot…

They send emails from which you cannot unsubscribe, even when you reply to the same address asking them to be removed - which still does not get you anywhere!

You are able to unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe button in the email. As we state to the user's of Coinmerce, unsubscribing from all emails is not possible. Hi Artan, security calls are for the protection of your account. If there is some unusual activity in an account we check to make sure the user is not being scammed or hacked. Also, we need to comply with rules and regulations that require us to verify things, we don't do that because we like to, we like to keep things as simple as possible.

Great for basic traders, not enough for edvanced.

My funds have been moved to Coinmerce by other company. Most importantly it has been moved, cause I thought that funds are lost. That is a big plus.
The platform itself is mediocre. For very basic traders is it just enough. On mobile it is simple, on website is worse. Lagging, but possibly it is fault of my PC.
Verification is complicated and somehow lenghty, but considering size of exchange and how complicated Dutch law requirements are is acceptable.
Big plus to customer service. Friendly, quite quick, not to complicated. My problem has been fixed same day I called.
The exchange is not accepted by big exchanges like OKX so it requires extra steps to move funds.
Fees are quite high.
All in all, it is OK.
If youre starter and want to trade on Dutch exchange, go for it.

'Forced' to them because of Binance…

'Forced' to them because of Binance leaving Netherlands. Limited options, expensive fees, very slow GUI but the most annoying part...try to transfer something out of it...

Hi Mark, you were not forced. Binance gave you the option to transfer your crypto to Coinmerce or withdraw it to another platform. I agree that you don't have the same functionalities in Coinmerce as you had in Binance but that's because Binance is an exchange that offers products that we are not allowed to offer. Have you tried the Coinmerce app? We really recommend using the Coinmerce app if you think the website is too slow for you.

Disgusting company, 100% stay away from them, i do not recommend!

Disgusting company, they are presenting themselves as the most regulated in the Netherlands, therefore:

- Their website isn't at all profesional, moving very slow. tottaly unacceptable UX/UI for the regular customer.
- if you are trying to withdraw to your bank acount or even crypto withdraw to another wallet, a even the small amount you have to wait more or less around 1 week.
- waiting time for support sometimes can go even for a few hours

i can't even imagine how someone can trust such a company especially whe its about large amount of money.

100% stay away from them, i do not recommend!

Withdrawing funds to your verified bank account should not take longer than two business days. If it takes longer there should be another issue. Withdrawing difficult

Buying crypto is fine, but withdrawing your funds is a whole different story. Transferring USDC via Arbitrum is not possible; you have to use Ethereum, which results in high fees. To test the platform, I created an account and purchased 100 euros worth of USDC. The next step: transferring my USDC. I had to verify my wallet with a screenshot. In my case, I used the Rabby Wallet. 15 minutes later, I received an email from Coinmerce: "ADDRESS VERIFICATION FAILED." Apparently, non-custodial wallets are not allowed? I then tried verifying with an address from another exchange I use, which was approved—hooray! However, when I tried to withdraw my USDC to this address, I received a message: "PLEASE WAIT 24 HOURS."

I understand that exchanges must comply with the Dutch Central Bank’s regulations, but Coinmerce makes it very difficult to withdraw your crypto. This process feels cumbersome and frustrating. I would not recommend Coinmerce.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. In the first 24 hours of opening an account, it is not possible to withdraw to make sure the new user is not being scammed. It is possible to withdraw crypto to non-custodial wallets. If the wallet verification is denied please contact support so they can explain why it is not approved. We can only support 1 network for each cryptocurrency on our platform. The reason we do this is indeed the rules and regulations to which we need to comply, we do not intend to make it difficult for our users to withdraw.

This is honestly one of the most buggy…

This is honestly one of the most buggy websites I have ever used in my life, and I used a quite a few.
1. Verifying the wallet for withdrawal is an impossible task. I just cannot get it done. The website hangs every time I try to verify any of the withdrawal addresses, regardless of the coin.
2. The website is suuuuper slloooowwwww. Every action takes forever, they either need to optimize it or switch from firebase backend.
3. UX/UI is a non existing word for coinmerce. Its just whatever I am trying to do either gives me more issues, like clicking certain buttons for withdrawal does absolutely nothing.
I cannot even get the coins out to any other exchange due to bugs over bugs over slowness.

Suggestion for coinmerce: make a test session with your devs and get the website in a normal state. I had money on it for a year already and the most basic issues are still there.
Or get yourself a normal contracted QA, who will test it out. Let him click the most obvious buttons and you will see they don't even work!!!

Suggestion for everyone else: If you are considering using coinmerce, please reconsider.

Be careful

As long as the money is with them, they won't be heard. But as soon as you sell or want to take back money, all hell breaks loose. They force a video call, supposedly to check your identity. Perhaps close to bankruptcy? Be careful

Impossible to withdraw coins quickly!!

If you want to withdraw coins to a different account, even when that account if fully verified, by video call and with ID, they still block it for at least 30 minutes / one hour. Sometimes, they even remove your order from the system without giving any notice!
