I have been using CM for 4 years.
To me this company is God send. It is built for the people and operates with transparency and intregrity.
I invest little amounts in crypto and I have always felt treated with care and respect from the customer support.
I sometimes don't use support for months and when I do and I get the 'hello Lili' with a familiar name of the person behind support I know they remember me. A lot of people reaches out to support, so they engage with many clients and yet I get an experience that feels tailored.
This is the only exchange I use and if it didn't exist I genuinely don't know how I would invest in crypto because I want to use an exchange that is ethical and not driven by greed.
You can reach out to the CEO on telegram. He has answered me in dm for a specific question through voicenotes and I am still baffled this is a thing. I imagine he is beyond busy running CM and engaging with his team and yet he answered me. That speaks volume about the company's values. I'm not a big investor but I am a big supporter and they treat people with the same care whether you invest big or small.
There is regular AMA with the CEO (monthly i think) on youtube and you can send your questions live.
CM always made a point of complying with regulations which I think is amazing and one of the reason I felt safe using the platform.
This compliance was a big incentive for my 60+ years old mother to open an account as she felt safe.
I don't understand people complaining about kyc process or needing to verify ID or adress. This is not an issue with the company but the people who don't get how important this is. The fact that CM takes the security of its customers very seriously keeps all clients safe! So much of the crypto world is used for not great endeavors, it is a gift to have a platform that will do its best to check all is legit and by the law.
I use the browser version and the interface is very user friendly. My bank transfers usually get into my account in seconds. Etc.
Growing a great company takes a lot of time and efforts, ofc there is going to be some issues arising and each time CM works to resolve it and send an email to list the steps they will take so the issue doesn't happen again. I have seen accountability and responsability.
I genuinely feel honored to have heard about CM years ago because it healed something in my heart, as i feel this company goal is to do good in the world.
So looking forward to what is to come with the company and XCM. Very grateful for all the hard work the team put in.

One of very few CEXes that actually cares about its customers. Twice, over a period of 5 years I stupidly sent funds to the wrong address and on both occasions they recovered them for me, and were very patient with my repeated enquiries

Integrity + Tokenomics that work…
I’ve been with Coinmetro since its ICO launch and INTEGRITY is the word that truly defines this exchange. CM offers great passive income opportunities through many staking programs. I chose to use CoinMetro 4 (ish) years ago, and I have chosen to stay with them through their growing pains because of these things:
1. interactive (and wise) CEO who takes our suggestions to heart - if you have questions, ask him on an AMA!
2. prompt and patient customer support
3. high level of integrity
4. high level of transparency
5. easy-to-use platform (I don't use the app)

Best customer service
Seemless on- and off-ramp for fiat and crypto's, low fees and the best customer service in the crypto sphere. Like an ACTUAL customer service who you can talk to and who solve any issues you may be dealing with instead of some Autobot or an email address that never responds.
I've been using Coinmetro since their early days in 2018 and it's now the only exchange I use.
Bought a few low-market cap gems that launched on CM that made me some decent gains.

Untrustworthy with questionable practices
Very disappointing due to several critical issues:
• The interface is buggy and unreliable.
• The verification process requires an excessive amount of sensitive documents, more than what is typically requested by banks.
• The platform’s IBAN is registered in Malta.
• The value of XCM has dropped significantly, raising concerns about how it is managed, my initial XCM value had neen devided by 24.
• There are more reliable European alternatives, such as Bitvavo, that offer a more stable experience and trust.
The handling of XCM prices raises concerns about transparency and fair trading.
The company is actively managing its online reputation, and deleted this review twice.

Calling a company "Scammers" just because we are required by European law to request certain documentation, makes us believe that certain information given to you was not fully understood.

Update on your question regarding XCM:
Coinmetro has maintained a price floor since its inception—first at 1c, then 12c, and later 60c. The increase to 60c followed a 1000% surge in trading volume, a rise in users, and a significant increase in the XCM price. Prior to the price floor, trading remained well above the floor price.
However, over time, when the price floor began to hinder liquidity in XCM pairs and affected users' ability to freely trade XCM, we made the necessary decision to remove it to allow the price to stabilize. Today, the price remains stable, and XCM is fully liquid for all Coinmetro clients.
There was never any ambiguity regarding the XCM price floor—we have always maintained transparency on this matter. While we understand that not everyone agreed with certain changes, labeling it as blatant price manipulation is simply inaccurate.
Update: We indeed feel the need to flag your review. We do not shy away from a 1-star review, however, calling us scammers, spreading misinformation and at the same time promoting an entirely different company is not something we are willing to watch from the sidelines. As mentioned, we stand by the quality of our work and the integrity of our team.
