The ordering process was smooth and well communicated and the quality of the windows and doors we ordered is superb and have totally transformed our home. I have already highly recommended Colins Sash Windows to friends and family.

I've used Colins windows on a dozen projects in the UK and Ireland and always been pleased with the product and service. The fact they deliver to the Republic of Ireland is a huge bonus.

On the rare occasion when there's been an issue they've been quick to solve it (eg one window had one cracked glazing unit, they completely covered the cost of a replacement). Once a delivery came with missing thumb turns, and they arranged delivery of replacements within 48 hours. I also found Paul really useful and available for technical questions about how to do some (for me) complex stuff like Folding Sliding Door installations. With Paul's advice we were able to install some large units (6m+) using 'normal builders' rather than specialist fitters.

I've been messed around by several window brokers/ suppliers in the past but am happy to say that I can thoroughly recommend Colin's - I've had excellent experiences ordering their sash windows, casements in UPVC and also aluminium bifolds, alu front doors and alu large-scale glazing. You'll also find their prices are excellent, and competitive - likely the best in UK for the quality provided. As they deal with various manufacturers they'll always be able to source exactly the profile (alu or plastic) that you're after.

I bought Heritage French Frames with three panes per panel, four panels, well over a year ago. Bought early so I knew I would have the right sized hole to fit them. Now, coming to fit them, I find the door pillars were too short. A call to Paul in Customer Support, and instant action. Two more pillars arrived awhile later. Two colours caused the timing issue. Supports fitted and Paul able to give precise advice on things like sealing rubbers. Doors look great.

I cannot rate Paul highly enough! After an issue following my installation of sash windows, ( entirely my fault!), his expertise and assistance quickly got things back on track, as it were. Absolutely top notch for quality and service!

Very happy with my aluminium doors in the steel heritage style. After slight hiccup regarding delivery date and installation, Paul and team did everything they could to make sure the delay wasn’t significant. Would recommend.

Just had Paul Taylor and Andrew fit windows in a renovation property . These guys were superb from start to finish even when they disturbed a wasps nest !
Nothing was too much trouble and they never stopped not even for one of my coffees! Can high recommend and they left the property spotless . Thanks again guys.

I ordered 11 sash windows from Colin’s windows in October 2023. They were delivered in December 2023. I did not fit them until July 2024 due delays on renovation work. Rung them and told Paul Taylor that had a couple of issues with them. Paul immediately arranged replacement parts and within a week or so travelled from Lincolnshire to Bradford with his daughter and within the hour replaced the parts and fixed the minor issues.

Personally for me I saved more than 50% on purchasing the windows from them and we are talking quality windows but what impressed me the most was the no nonsense attitude. I wasn’t asked why they had not been fitted for 8 months or maybe I had fitted the windows incorrectly. Father and daughter came up fixed the problem and left. Absolutely amazing service and great people. It is know fact that if you buy any item from a family business you will get exceptional service WHY you might ask well it’s because small family businesses care about their customers unlike large companies who once they sold you an item don’t care and it’s a pain trying to get things fixed from them. Colin’s window is decent size business and yet they have held on the tradition that the customer still needs looking after especially once you have sold the windows.

So thank you Paul and your lovely daughter Charlie. You came ... You saw ..... and you Fixed it!!!.

We used Colin’s Sash Windows as our neighbours had had their windows supplied by them and were happy with the quality of the windows.

We made the decision to use their fitting service (which our neighbours did not) and it proved to be a mistake.

The windows were suppled in a timely manner through a couple of deliveries and are sturdy and look as expected.

When the fitters came to fit the windows they advised, after removing our old wooden sash windows, that as the house is old and the walls were not level. However they could / should have said that they would not be able to provide a good finish when they saw our house when they came to check our measurements initially. The results of their window fittings were amateur and have cost us a not insignificant amount of money to rectify. Their system of taking all of the money before the job is finished has meant there is little recourse once they have thrown up the window surrounds leaving ours wobbly, lop-sided and unsecured with holes and cavities on show.

The fitters on the final day of the fitting (who were at our property for 11 hours and did not leave until after 7pm) said that we had to sign the concession form before they left but that we could contact the office and they would resolve any issues.

The next day we told the office of the issues we had with the finish and after a couple of weeks and further emails they advised they were busy and it would likely take a month before they could send anyone back to look at the work. This was completely unsatisfactory and so we had to arrange for others to come in to finish the job so our children could move back into their bedrooms.

We asked for a contribution to go towards the additional costs we incurred of making good the unsatisfactory work but this has been declined. We were advised we should have waited for however long it took for them to find someone to come back and review.

Please be careful when selecting the window fitting service and do not sign the concession form even if you are given reassurances that they will provide an adequate after fitting service.

Highly recommended. Paul & his colleague Andy worked hard to install our windows & we are delighted with the finish.

The quality of these windows is excellent. The company make sure that you check your measurements before they start production, and the whole ordering process just worked. You can clearly see all the options on the order form, so you know exactly what you're going to get. Delivery is made exactly when they say it will, so there's no wondering about when it's going to turn up.

Great company and great service! My fitter of choice would definitely be Paul, he was extremely helpful from start to finish and makes sure everything is fit to the highest standard! I would definitely recommend using him and the company as a whole!
