Really impressed by coliving! They look out for the customer first and foremost, unlike other sites like air bnb. I needed customer support a couple of times and they responded to me super quickly. Wonderful service and a fantastic site to find cool co-livings to stay in.

Ana Cristina Lambert was just so kind, responsive, helpful. I was so stressed out due to a very uncomfortable situation at a... Really a terrible "coliving" lodge. The owner literally joked about it being like "The Shining" because it's so remote and there was no one else there. Owner doesn't even stay. Ah. It was so stressful after a while. Anyway, Ana was just such a saviour for me. To have someone to listen to me and provide support, it was truly invaluable. I really appreciate the help and support I received.

They have a very sneaky way of operating.
I travel monthly using any type of platform (Booking, airbnb, etc), and I am an Airbnb host myself, and I can say the way Colivng.com operates is really bad.
Coliving.com promoted their accommodation as 100% free refund before 30 days, but then kept part of the booking fees. This was stated only in their separate T&C page, while in the booking page just stated 100% free cancellation, which they changed a few weeks later after I had booked already.
I pointed out to customer service that what they are doing is not right and can't fool people this way, but didn't get much help.
Steer away from companies like this one, if they try to fool you before even booking, I don't even even want to know what happens during and after the booking.

I've booked my stay at a coliving through Coliving.com for the second time now, and I'm happy to report that it's a fantastic service to use.
This time around, there were some problems at the property which, according to other guests, had been left unaddressed for multiple weeks even though multiple guests had raised concerns.
Since I booked through Coliving.com, I was able to reach out to them within 24h of my checking in to report these issues, and thanks to the Coliving.com Guarantee, they opened a dispute, relayed my concerns to property management, and held my payment pending resolution.
Almost immediately, there was a change in tone from property management. They became very responsive, resolved four out of six issues immediately, and the next two over the next few days.
I'm not usually one to write reviews for a web service, but I can honestly say that I'd recommend anyone to use Coliving.com to book a long-term stay with peace of mind.

Worst platform ever for bookings! They don't stick to their own terms&conditions, their cancelation policies are not in line with their invoicing model. They owe me more than 600 euro. Not to be trusted!

It's been 2 months that still not getting my deposit refund back. I had to hire a lawyer to start legal actions that would end up costing me half of what I paid for the deposit and they just closed my account where I have all the data. It's very illegal behaviour. If you read this don't ever send them a payment.

I strongly advise people not to use the site. I booked a place to stay from the 1st of October and got two confirmation messages saying that the stay has been confirmed and so I booked it and a flight to arrive from the beginning of the stay.
Then I saw the post payment confirmation message and it said I would be staying there two weeks after the time I booked. When logging into the website there was a message from the host saying they have changed the dates.
Upon payment the website showed the dates I had selected and neither of the confirmation messages had mentioned the change in dates. Coliving.com is still listing the place as available from the 1st of October.
I have tried to cancel the booking now, but I will lose some money to fees and I haven't received a confirmation of my cancellation.
I also tried to message the host to change the date, but the website kept saying the page is closed because of inactivity, so the site itself has glitches.
Also, a "Full" refund on the site is only 50%, which is very misleading.

The technology generally still feels very basic, as though it is in Beta phase. There seems to be a lack on consistency between what is promised (in the policies) or verbally and in writing by the team versus what is received and delivered to us as hosts.
The company is doing well in generating leads for individuals who fit the the profile. These are individuals who are knowledgeable, and suited to the coliving model.
Response times on WhatsApp and email are rather slow.
The payment system, as it is connected to Stripe only, and bank directly seems to be somehwat redundant and unreliable.
The commission structure, the payment of guest deposits and the management of these financial outcomes seems somewhat cumbersome, confusing and unfavourable to the host.

Had an excellent experience in Italy thanks to finding a coliving space on coliving.com. The booking was smooth, I was able to speak to the host and ask questions easily. Have used this website multiple times now, and always trust it to find reliable and exciting coliving spaces.

Sketchy deposit practices
The host has still not returned my deposit after 3 weeks and I have been communicating with the Coliving support team... who have done absolutely nothing to help. They keep saying they'll "keep me updated" but don't provide any information unless I follow up. Even then they don't have anything to say. I even asked if they could just refund me directly or apply it to my next stay, which is starting in a few days, but they said no. I still have not received my deposit.
There are so many other platforms that offer the same thing - I suggest using any of them except Coliving.com.
Side note: While we enjoyed our first stay, it was not a Coliving situation. Only two rooms in the house, no dedicated workspace anywhere, and no shared areas except for a kitchen. It was us and another couple and we all used to crowd around the kitchen table to work. We still really enjoyed our time because of the location, but I have no idea why Coliving approved this.

Found the coliving.com website really helpful in finding a cool place in Europe to work remotely from. I met lots of interesting people in Culla, Spain - a real community of likeminded spirits! The booking process was easy, and I was able to speak with the host to ask them any questions before arriving.
