I'm so so disappointed - highly recommended avoiding
I'm so so disappointed. Bought a strap to go with a watch as a present. Purchased 2nd January for delivery 3-5 days later. Tracking number for German postal service given the day after ordering.
No delivery by the 9th and the tracking number was not valid, so I contacted them and was sent another tracking number for a French postal service, again this was not valid.
I asked to cancel and was reassured it was on it's way and that it would arrive by the 13th. It did not.
Contacted them on the 14th after receiving some legal advice to cancel and request a refund for breach of contract. Emails appeared to become increasingly rushed/poorly written and they told me that requesting a refund for an item in the process of being delivered was "illegal", that this was stated in their terms and conditions and that if I started an illegal contestation with my card company "as you know the consequence are high"...
I was advised to have no further contact, that any agreement as part of the purchase cannot superceed UK law, and to proceed through my card company, which I did.
The next day the item arrived! I've cancelled my credit card contestation, but I won't be keeping the strap. The quality isn't actually too bad, but the colour is awful. It's a yellowish orange when the watch it is meant for is a deep, reddish orange.
I've checked the returns policy and you can't return sale items, the strap had 50% off when I purchased it, so I will assume they won't refund it.
I'm fairly exhausted and disappointed by the whole experience. I was just trying to buy a nice watch strap as a present! I will never use this company again.
Edit: I did contact the company regarding arefund and have been given an address in Dubai, as I have read others have too.
