I've had a great experience with Collective.com. The onboarding process was smooth, the platform is easy to use, and their team has been incredibly responsive whenever I had questions. They make business finances, bookkeeping, and taxes much less stressful, and everything feels well organized and professional.

What I appreciate most is that they save me time and give me confidence that everything is being handled correctly. Their customer support is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. If you're a small business owner looking for an all-in-one solution for accounting and tax services, I highly recommend Collective.com. Definitely a five-star experience!

Terrible onboarding experience, terrible service. This is just another service of many that small business owners get tricked into buying as an "all-in-one" solution for fundamental needs of a business owner. What a shame. They are not able to provide any "unlimited" tax guidance or CPA support and are completely unreachable on the weekends. Half their team is based in Philippines and are disconnected from their operations; in fact, all of their operations seem disconnected and don't talk to each other--I literally don't trust the payroll or results they delivered. Documents requested for additional info do not make sense, as they already should integrate with bank access granted to Collective via Plaid. The platform does not stand up to the experience it markets. Onboarding took 3 months to download data when it would take a regular bookkeeper probably less than 1 day to integrate. Get your act together, Collective. I won't be recommending this service to anyone, especially new small business owners. They deserve better and signing up with Collective has created more of a burden than actual service. Look elsewhere.

It's extremely expensive and very hard to use. I cancelled one day after payment was made and they are expecting me to pay another payment. It costs $349/month. NOT worth it.

This is the first time I've actually used the full pay online for quarterly estimates through the Collective Dashboard and it made the whole process more efficient and easier to record and keep track of.

I ended up using Claude Ai to get the answers I need to proceed with my estimated tax payment. The copy provided by collective is direct however it can be interpreted a few ways when you get to steps 4-8.

Collective has been incredible. As a new business owner, they have been super responsive and supportive to ensuring that my business is running smoothly from a financial and accounting perspective. The service is amazing, excellent technology, and overall a wonderful experience.

Collective helped me turn the lights on across segments of my business - understanding where I was generating profit and where I could cut back and invest less time. I'm the CEO of a business with multiple divisions and communities, I have no interest in managing the back-office. Collective handles all of that in one place exclusively for businesses like mine. I've also worked with them to bring financial education to my community so that other business owners can level up and become better CEOs.

It seems like Collective has been fine tuning some of their quarterly tax payment process. Much smoother than before.

Service was not what was sold. I was told that I would I have a dedicated account manager and that I could call in anytime for US based support. Not the case, onboarding was great but that is where the service stopped. Chatbot or message center for support. You have to schedule an appointment to talk to someone and the lead times are weeks out. When you do talk to someone they are clearly not US based. Not worth the money.

The idea is good but it feels like they sell you on the idea and then put their JV team in to do book-keeping and taxes. Bookeeping is a mess. Taxes will never put you in touch with the person doing your taxes but have collective be the middle man where every question you ask takes over a week for a response. If your a small company that wants an easy S-corp solution....this is NOT it. I'll update the review if something changes.

Overpromis and Underdeliver.

No onboarding. No tutorials. No easy access to a person. I feel stuck. I wish I could have my money back.

Collective has exceeded every expectation. They’ve streamlined my entire financial operation—bookkeeping, payroll, S‑Corp compliance, and tax filings—so I can stay focused on investigations, advocacy, and client work. Onboarded with collective in 2025 as a first year s-corp transition. Terrible communication, no proactive oversight that they promise. At the end of the year now and foun payroll was handled incorrectly. They waited until December to address it. On top of that many issues with categorizations despite multiple requests. I have to go to an outside cpa now because they say they can’t do anything at all. Offered no compensation. Don’t trust them. They talk a big game and charge a LOT for nothing.

Collective makes invoicing easy to manage. I don't need to spend a lot of time, and everything flows with accounting.
