I received 2 letters this year stating it's time for another Cologard test. My last one was 3 yrs ago. Results were negative. I had a colonoscopy within the past 10 years. Results were negative.... See more

What a joke
What a joke, got a positive, went and got a colonoscopy, and NOTHING WRONG WHATSOEVER. This is just a massive money maker. How else can they afford all those commercials? My suggestion and what I am doing going forward - Go when your 50, go when your sixty, go when your seventy. Go if you feel like you need one or have symptoms or issues (all over the web) and stop feeding the medical giants money. But DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with these tests.
…NO RESULTS EVER, WASTE OF TIME!
After sending the samples and receiving notification that they received it, found out my dr's office neverr received the results, nor did I, even after then calling cologuard and asking again for the results to be sent to DR's office & myself. Another month gone by ...nothing. I called again only to have someone answer the phone who could Barely speak english and lots of strange unprofessional voices/noise in the background. NO help. My advise ...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Your recording sucks
Your recording sucks, there is no way to get past the prompts and talk to a human. dialing the number that dialed you: you have to listen to the whole thing all over again.
NOTHING in the paperwork said not to do the test on a Saturday. I took it to the UPS store and got there at 4:01pm because of a train. it was all packed, ready to go. they closed at 4pm and would not take it. the recording said cologuard would HELP YOU in this eventuality.
After a lot of back & forth and being told by the lady on the other end, that no places in my zip code were open to take it. She finally looked up which sample kit i was sent (i was driving the whole time BTW looking for places to drop it off). She kept talking over top of me the whole time frustrating me more.
i saw an amazon truck and said see: I've seen other delivery services out LATE on saturday, UPS dropping off on Sunday. you're telling me there is no way they can get this picked up and to YOU in 72 hours? How do you know I don't have a 96 hour kit? I have to do THIS WHOLE THING ALL OVER AGAIN. the human body doesn't work on demand.
G-D F-DAMMIT
Cologuard is NOT covered by Medicare
Cologuard is NOT covered by Medicare, Medicare Part B, Medicare Advantage. Don't believe your doctor who tells you that you can get one very 2-3 years. You only get the first one free. Otherwise you are out $681. SURPRISE!!!
Unauthorized test
Unauthorized test ordered by my provider. Already called them and stated so. Got the test last night and immediately blacked out all information on return label and it is ready for the trash dumpster.
Too many negative reviews and horror stories
SCAMMER
I just got an alert from my UPS account that they are sending me a package. I googled the name.
I was so angry that I was sent UNSOLICITED package.
I WILL NOT GO THRU THIS TEST!!! I WILL NOT PAY ANY BILLS!!!! I AM GLAD I GOOGLED AND FOUND OUT MORE BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY! I AM SO PISSED OFF AT WHOEVER ORDERED THIS PACKAGE TO ME!
Innane Stickon Labels!
The labels they provide to fill out are non absorbant. This means you write down the required info and when you go to attach the labels the ink smears. Even an imbecile can design a usable stickon label. There is no intelligence heading up companies these days.
Hell no
Omg!! The texts and calls are insane. They send you a 20 page manual to read then make you play in your own stool! Yuck. I’m not a lab tech and I do not have time to read a text book. Im refusing to provide a sample! Don’t use this company.
Clarissa is very kind and helpful
Clarissa is very kind and helpful. Although so far, it has been two months since my mom has received her due to other representatives. I’ve been on the phone with still, somehow, not getting it shipped even after giving him the correct address. Clarissa was able to assure me and have me stay on the line as she made sure that it was shipped with tracking. I really appreciate her.!
ZERO stars!!
ZERO stars!!
They harass you from the moment your Dr signs you up for the test. Emails...texts...phone calls....CONSTANTLY!!!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Crappy Cologuard Experience
I was coming due for my very first colonoscopy, so instead of doing an invasive test in which you need to go under, I decided to try the infamous Cologuard test instead. I used to be a shareholder of this company and was actually looking forward to seeing how their test worked. Unfortunately, my dealings with them were not pleasant. First of all, they sent my test to the wrong address even though I specifically gave them the address I wanted it sent to, instead they sent it to my billing address which just so happens to be a PO box. Granted, I still received my test but much later than I would have, had they sent it to where I had asked them to in the first place. Not understanding what was so complicated about getting my shipping address right but I brushed it off as a simple mistake and was willing to look past that. However, I'm now seeing that these sort of hiccups were not the exception to the rule in my dealings with them. Regardless, I received my test so I don't want to harp on the inconvenience of them getting that wrong anymore. So back to the test, I went through all the rigamaroo of doing the sample, scraping some stick thing along the edges of my feces and sticking that sample into a test tube, pouring some preservative liquid on the rest of the sample, screwing the cap on exactly the way they wanted me to, which is actually easier said than done, placing it in plastic bag, boxing it back up, calling them to arrange a pickup, etc. The process of taking the sample and the sort of poop fingerpainting they wanted me to partake in was actually quite gross but hey, I figured at least I'm finally done with that and better than having to go through having to drink that horrible chalky milkshake and do the real deal test, right?! WRONG! I call the number, follow the instructions to a tee and shipped it back, which was all arranged through Exact Sciences, or so I thought... I left to go out of the country. Two weeks later, I'm back in the country and I hear that I received another package from Exact Sciences at my PO box. So I call to find out what is going on with my results and they tell me that they shipped my sample back to ME. So yeah, I am irritated at this point. You've gotta be kidding me... really? So I have a three week old stinky poop sample waiting for me at my PO box? Lovely! Why?! Like what is wrong with these people?! They are the ones who arranged the pickup. Why would they pick up the sample at my home and then send it back to the address AGAIN that I specifically requested not to send me mail there unless it involved billing? They wanted to send me another test to redo but I just told the person on the phone that I'm done! I absolutely cannot anymore with these total effff ups. There's a big problem when a person decides that going under general anesthesia and drinking those chalky milkshakes and all that a colonoscopy entails is much less hassle than dealing with your company. Can't believe I'm actually having to say this! Thanks Cologuard but no thanks! I'll take my chances with risking my life going under and having to be invaded by sticking a camera up where the sun don't shine vs dealing with you people ever again! Sad day! So glad I sold all of my stock.

Ordered Cologuard self pay and the website states you need to do a remote consultation with a doctor to get the test. What they don't tell you is that when you pay for the test, they automatically schedule your consultation in the form of a 4 hour window where you must be available and waiting for the doctor to call you during business hours. This is totally impractical for anyone who works a regular job. I emailed and asked if we could schedule a set time appointment like every other doctor in the world does, and they said nope, 4 hour window or nothing. So I guess I'll just get a refund and forget it.
Cologuard is the most fraudulent…
Cologuard is the most fraudulent company that I have ever experienced. Many, many months ago the nurse at my doctor's office tokd me that they could order an at home colon test, but I didnt hear anything else about it. Then months later I started getting persistant emails and phone calls from Cologuard. They told me that my doctor had ordered the test for me (which made it seem that my insurance was going to pay for it). I ignored the calls and texts because I couldn't figure out how it had taken so many months from the time the nurse told me they could order a test and when I started receiving calls and texts from Cologuard). Finally they sent an email to me saying that the test was on its way to me. BUT that message was sent to an email address that I had not given to them, and one that my doctors office doesn't even have on file!!! The test did arrive in the mail and I did the test, sent it back, got the results weeks later and was told that my doctor would get a copy of the results. I thought I was done with company, but today I got a bill for over $600. This Cologuard company is so very pushy and annoying and has shown me that they will even find ways to contact you that you are not expecting. This company should be put out of business.
expect to pay a high bill
Test ordered by my doctor. Turns out that they are out of network and not accepted by insurance. They never informed me of that before conducting the test. They keep hounding me for almost $700. They are extremely rude when you call to dispute this fraudulent charge. They actually said that they don't have time to check if your insurance covers or not. This is absolute nonsense, it is your job. They are a horrible company in my opinion. They don't care about people or doing things correctly. They just want money from you.

Had a false positive had to be re tested by gi doctors and had no problems never will cologuard again.
You just need to follow instructions
If you are conscientious and follow all the instructions, write clearly and drop off the sample the same day, you will get accurate results. In my case I avoided having to go for a colonoscopy twice, as I used it 3 years ago as well. It is quite expensive but the Medicare advantage paid for the entire amount.

Just get a colonoscopy and stop wasting time. Mine came back positive so I had to go for a colonoscopy. While waiting to be put to sleep the doctor was talking to the anesthesiologist. The doctor said 96% percent of the positive test results where false positive for cancer. So 4% of positive results are true. I did have some pylops and they were removed but no cancer. I will never do that test again. Three weeks of waiting thinking the worst for nothing. Yes the colonoscopy is a little bit of a pain prep wise but other than that I went to sleep and woke up and done.
Three Samples Rejected Due to Shipping or Technical Issues
Cologuard test kit arrived quickly as promised. First sample was rejected, second sample was delayed by UPS and rejected, third sample was rejected for technical issues. Very poor testing procedure- requires sample to be completed on a weekday because shipping delays cause sample to be rejected. Sample must be returned via UPS next day air to Wisconsin in good condition to be tested.
I am a 47 year old man in good shape
I am a 47 year old man in good shape, exercise regularly and watch my diet. Upon my yearly physical my Dr. recommended a colon screen. Reluctantly I agreed to a Cologuard test. The test came back positive. Being in the shape I am in I immediately started on the defensive. I started looking for reasons to believe I was not positive, it was the accuracy of the test, I questioned. I took solace in reading all the false positive reviews, as it put me in a comfortable mindset, after all, it couldn't happen to me?! So 3 weeks after the Cologuard test came back, I went had my colonoscopy performed. Coming out of the procedure I was informed of 3 polyps, and one mass thought to be cancerous. My polyps were 2CM, 1CM, 1CM, and my rectal mass was 1.4CM. My pathology report came back today stating all polyps were negative for cancer, and the mass is precancerous. We will perform additional steps to remove the mass completely. Had I waited, or not taken the tests, and precautions my result will have been deadly.
If there are false positives, so be it. It's a sensitive test. Better safe than sorry. IMO looking back I wish I would have scheduled the colonoscopy rather than being frightened for three weeks
I'm going to live!!!
Cologuard test came back positive: had a colonoscopy and it showed a large mass in my colon. The mass was not cancerous yet. Another year or so, I'd be facing a cancer diagnosis. I wasn't due for colonoscopy for another 6 years!!!! I'm so grateful for this company... I wish I could find an email to thank them...
