Comparechoiceguide is probably a scam…

Comparechoiceguide is probably a scam site, or else it hosts scam reviews.
It was first registered in October 2025 as was a companion domain realworldreviews.com.
Comparechoiceguide says it does not check the reviews that are posted, which makes it easy to post a scam review on.
As an example of a scam review, comparechoice.com reviewed "Best Ultrasonic Bird Repellers of 2026" and listed the best performer as the"Smileboxy Solar-Powered Bird Deterrent Device" at a 'discounted' price of $259, but the same product is available from MightyApe etc for $30 and is probably not very effective.
Interestingly smileboxy-xx.com domains were also registered within a couple of days of comparechoiceguide.com. There's a smileboxy site for AU, NZ, UK and probably a bunch of other places. Trustpilot reviews generally rate smileybox as a probably scam.
However, based on timing and location of registration the referring site comparechoiceguide.com is probably also a scam.
Be careful.
