I have used Compost Direct at least 8 times so far, and will continue to do so. It is always exactly as described and delivered quickly, also so much cheaper than buying small bags elsewhere. Very satisfied customer!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Black Gold compost. It is an excellent product and improves my heavy clay soil hugely.The bag last for ages and the compost is easy to use for top dressing or to mix in with potting compost. I have had problems with being let down on delivery, but Compost Direct assure me that these will addressed with their delivery company.

I purchased a bag of Veg Pro for my new raised beds. The results are excellent, there are no misses in the rows. As the product is heavier than compost it does not dry out. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be buying more.

I have been using Black Gold compost from Compost Direct for a couple of years now. It is good stuff and it's making a big difference to my garden.
Delivery works efficiently. They call to arrange time. Bulk bag on pallet is wheeled up the driveway to back garden.

The delivery was timely as expected, put where i wanted it as a bulk bag is exactly as it says, large.

the beds where this has been used there is a huge difference in the growth of the plants, dahlias sunflowers and banana plants have done very well especially in comparison to the bed where i ran out - will be buying more.

Product exactly as described, just what I was looking for and available in a larger large bag which was perfect for my needs. Delivery as promised and the driver was very polite and helpful.

We have used this company many times,all to our complete satisfaction.However,the last but one driver arrived and said
"I'm leaving it on kerb"
I told him previous drivers had had no problems delivering onto my drive.He then informed me he would take it back.I rang up moody's and informed them.I spoke to Scott,who was very helpful and arranged re delivery with a different driver and a few days later,delivery was completed 100% satisfactory.with no problems.The first driver's attitude was appalling and not conducive to good customer service,however after this it all went great.I will be ordering again,just don't want Mr Attitude to deliver

This supplier exceeded our expectations. The product quality was excellent and the delivery time was amazing.

Further to my neighbours recommendation, I purchased & used a large bag of soil improver to top up our raised beds & borders. Very pleased with the quality & performance of this product & supplier, will certainly use again.

I have used compost direct for two deliveries of Black Gold, both were delivered promptly and efficiently. The results of using the compost on our clay soil have been impressive and we now have soil that is easy to work, and the issues of water logging and drying out seem much improved. On top of that we have very healthy looking plants which are flourishing.

Excellent product! Delivered promptly. Will use again. Better than buying compost piecemeal from garden centres.

Excellent compost. Our second purchase from compost direct. Our vegetables are growing well. Compost Delivered without a problem. Delivery person was obliging and left compost where we asked them. Would recommend and use Compost Direct again.

I was very impressed with the quality of the compost. Promptly delivered by a friendly and helpful driver.

Was a little reticent to order compost online from ANY source given what I see go in the green waste container at our local tip, but I'm VERY glad I finally chose Compost Direct. The compost (Black Gold) was of the highest quality with no detritus save for two small bits of plastic & a sliver of wood. Applied as a mulch, and the garden (and worms) are really showing their appreciation!
Delivered on time with a smile and the drivers motorised pallet truck got the giant bag to exactly where I wanted it.
Perfect, and will be ordering again.

Second time we have used black gold from compost direct, the product really seems to be very good as an autumn or spring much, plants were very happy in the back garden after the autumn dressing and seem to be thriving in the front after a spring dressing.
The only reason they don't get 5 stars is the delivery service, there was no communication beforehand about delivery, fortunately due to lockdown, we were in but some sort of notification would be appreciated.
