Once given an appointment to view, only to have it cancelled within a day or two because "they've accepted an offer". Next, repeatedly phoned and emailed through online property site as well as direct from Friday to Tuesday regarding a property clearly still available on website. No response until Tuesday when a scanty apology saying property sold and sorry you haven't been able to contact us! Conrans know my requirements and they should have informed me of this property, not left me to find it online and then ignore me. When I last looked it was still listed as available.

We were living in a rented house managed by Conran for the last 4 years and had a very good experience all throughout. Lucy dealt with any issues and requests promptly and communication with contractors (in the case of repairs) and the landlord were very quick and reliable.

We recently bought a flat through Conran and I was not overly impressed by the service.
The communication started off really well and we were getting weekly updates, sometimes prompted and sometimes they did do these without being asked. Issues started when our point of contact stopped replying, and when we called to speak to her, we found out she had left. I thought this was handled badly given how close to exchange we were at the point. The new guy we then had was not great. He had told us the sellers wanted to exchange on a certain date and asked if we were aligned, which we were.
We had a final viewing, which he forgot about and also didn't remember where we were going, but in that viewing we learned he had not asked the seller about dates, and they had a completely different idea to what we'd been led to believe. I was really not impressed given he knew how we were feeling and what he'd said to us, it was just really poor. Also, emails we had sent were not being passed onto the seller, and we ended up exchanging without resolving an issue, because at that point we were fed up and wanted it done. But it was something we'd asked the previous person at Conran to speak to sellers about, and the new guy was just as useless at helping us resolve this.
Anyway, they pride themselves on top notch customer service, but since we've bought the flat and moved in, we've had multiple letters about how properties in the area are selling /going for let which is really winding us up. If your service was that good, you'd know you'd just sold this flat and you'd at least go to the effort to take us off your marketing letters! Glad our purchase got through in the end, and overall they were ok but some things just really don't add up to the level of service they claim to have.

I have always had great service from Conran's. The agent I used to deal with has retired, and I was a bit concerned that her replacement might not be as efficient, capable and friendly as Georgina was. Nothing to worry about, Debbie is fantastic and so going forward I will continue to be in capable hands. There are some truly terrible estate agents out there, thank heavens for Conrans who are showing the others how it should be done.
