My team is using ConvertKit. It's easy to make landing pages and send newsletters, but the backend is sprawling and hard to use. My email marketer is one of the best in the business and gets tripped up with hard to find important tools and automations. We're looking for a different provider right now

I've been with ConvertKit for almost 2 years now.

While I have my complaints (price, lack of design features), their customer service has always been helpful.

Whenever I have a question, it's not long before someone responds and tries to work through the issue with me. That's huge in my book, and the reason I'm still with them.

Terrible they never even accept you here, terrible customer service as well you are better of using another alternative please don’t use this!!!!

We are currently losing business with ConvertKit, I have promoted them whenever any one asks me about which email platform to use.

BUT now I understand why I am being advised to move platforms.

The company terminated us for something their owner agreed to previously and now stonewalled. They don't have to let us use the platform, but they are refusing to let me download my data and email content. Bad and deceptive business practices

UPDATE: The owner agreed to everything upfront. Also the termination is likely allowed for any reason, which is fine, but you should still let the customer gather their data.

Great platform for my affiliate marketing purposes. The only reason I am taking one star off is because of how expensive they are.

I have accounts at other providers for less and I am hesitant to move all my business to ConvertKit due to their pricing.

We have been using ConvertKit since 2021, but are now in the process of moving to someone else. We have between 1000-2500 subscribers on our list, and we pay $490/year. That's a lot of money when things don't work as they are supposed to. Lots of issues with rules not working as they should; some emails get sent out to more people than it's supposed to; some email are not sent to the right people; sometimes I have issues with clicking simple buttons, like today when I was unable to unsubscribe a few cold subscribers. On the chat there's only a bot, and you have to wait a long time for a human. When we first joined, there was always a human and they were very fast answering your questions. These days it seems like they don't know what my issue is.

I run an email marketing agency and 90% of our clients use ConvertKit. It's by far our favorite tool to work in. Perfect balance between feature-rich while still being really easy to use for our less tech-savvy clients. To me, it's the best in the game.

Support: Not only is the company's customer support quick, the self-serve options make it incredibly easy to get your questions answered so you can focus on growing your business instead of tinkering with settings. In addition, the community is very strong. If you have a question, chances are someone in the community is ready to jump in and help.

Overall, ConvertKit is the number one tool that I recommend for any online business. It's the best place to start and grow.

I've been using Convertkit for years, and It has always been a breeze to work with them.

Customer service is always on standby to help you when you have questions.

I switched to daily emails a year ago, and Convertkit never fails to deliver.

My email list on ConvertKit has become the economic engine behind my business. Not only does it cater to beginners just dabbling with building a newsletter but it's super flexible for power users as well. Most importantly, I've had an opportunity to interact with tons of people on their team from customer service to marketing to product development to even the CEO Nathan, and they absolutely live and breathe advocacy for creators. Highly recommended!

Hands down, WAY more intuitive than some other platforms (that we won't name).

My entire business centers around helping solo business owners do email marketing simply, efficiently, and profitably.

Can't imagine trying to do this with another platform.

I recently signed up to a newsletter, only to realise I had signed up to 3 others without my consent! There is clearly a glitch in the system and it needs to be fixed. Extremely irresponsible handling of customer data.

I signed up for a quick look at what Convertkit offered because they promised a quick, easy ticketing solution. This was complete catfishing, firstly - you would have to do a ton of work to be able to do what they had expressly said was a core product.

Then, they kept sending annoying messages. My normal unsubscribe through my email client didn't work - they kept sending them.

Eventually, I had to go through a tedious logon process to change my preferences. I'm pretty sure this is not compliant with either GDPR or Canadian privacy law... and it suggests they are a bait-and-switch grindhouse.

I don't know if there is anything they are good at, but I wouldn't even consider them, because I know they will keep spamming me to try sell something else.
