BE CAREFUL. Find a different supplier. They can't be trusted to do as they say.
They flat out lied about whether the item was in stock and said it would be shipped the following week. I spoke to the live chat agent and it lists it online.
After I ordered they then said it would be in stock by end of month from an overseas shipment, which probably means never. I asked for a refund and am awaiting confirmation on it.
When I asked the customer service rep why they misled me, she said she didn't know and said it wasn't her department. The whole business dealing with them was super sketchy.
I think if you wait too long on your CC purchases it becomes impossible to get a refund.
This company is just a major headache
This company is just a major headache. I purchase a couple of things online with these guys using PayPal. After a week they still hadn't shipped them out. By the way the shipping cost more than both items put together. The customer service is non existent, literally! It does have a place to click "Contact Us", but when you do click on it, nothing happens. There is no other way to contact customer service if they have such a thing. There confirmation email that I received is "donotreply" email address. Also in order to "track" your order, the website makes you download some random third party program to your phone that I got a "spam" warning for.
Very shady company. I've had to file a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Not worth the time or effort. Use caution if you still insist on purchasing anything from them. My guess it's some Asian website that is not maintained.
Questionable behaviour continues
Looks like CookStore.ca continues its questionable business practices into 2022. I ordered, queried delivery a couple of weeks later, got a reply with no timeframe, queried again, waiting to hear now, and then googled. Should have researched first, purchased ... never. Do Not Use This Website. I wonder if there's any legal recourse. Has anyone looked into this? Might see what Facebook community has to say about them.

Total complete scam. They advertise too good to be true deals and then do not ship. It is a complete bait and switch. I even question the legality of what they do. We ordered a coffee machine and then after several days I emailed them to be told it was 2-4 weeks away from shipping and they did not have stock. I was offered a different model instead and when denied that they did not refund me. I am currently in talks with my credit card company to reverse the charge. The company has no real address and is operated by one person.
Repeat Customer
I've purchased from Cookstore a few times and while they're not Prime they did fulfill my orders pretty quickly. They have moved their warehouse out of Mississauga but it didn't seem to delay shipping. I will continue to shop with them as I've not had any issues so far.
Would not trust them with a penny.

They are impossible to reach by phone even though a phone# is listed. The phone systems directs you to email and hangs up on you. I have been waiting over 6 days and counting. I have checked my junk folder and nothing. My order was placed almost 4 weeks ago. I must have $2000 in orders with them and now have to call my credit company to see if I can reverse the charges. They don’t answer their emails or phone….
They’re okay
They’re okay. I’ve ordered from here 3 times - a coffee grinder (they let me know it was out of stock/they were trying to source it but I cancelled since I wanted it to arrive for a birthday), a bunch of kitchen stuff (strainers, bowls, etc) that did arrive in a timely manner and a third order that I genuinely forgot about but arrived like 6 months later, today, out of the blue.
I’m assuming the pandemic must have been hard on them because the second order I had with them actually was all intact, and the first order their customer service was actually helpful. Hope they pull through because their prices are the bomb and it’s always nice to shop Canadian.
Total waste of time
Could you believe that 6 months later my order is still incomplete? They tryed to substitute the missing item with another one that I never asked for (so no use at all for this) and still, 6 months later I'm trying to get this item refund OR the right one. And... just so you know... the right items that I got finally arrived 3 months after the order.

Purchased a Bunn coffee maker for personal use. I wanted to use a Canadian store, which is why I chose the Cook Store. This is an expensive coffee maker and I am not happy with the coffee, as the water is running out too fast and the coffee is weak. When I brought it to the attention of the Cook Store, I was told they don’t take returns on “used” items and I am no longer their concern. I made two pots of coffee!!! Do yourself a favour and go some place else

Do Not Trust Their Updates
Item showed in stock when I placed the order, still shows in stock on their Google Ads. I didn't receive a shipping notification so I reached out, they said there was a delay and it would be a week. After 10 days passed I reached out again, now they say it will be a month, maybe.
I had ordered a Dinamica Plus $1800 coffee machine. how long would I have been stuck waiting if I hadn't reached out to them first.
At least I got a refund but I missed the opportunity to buy it locally on sale. Last time I buy from cookstore.
Poor customer service
Ordered a milk frother from Cook Store that was listed as “in stock”. It took about 8 weeks to arrive. When the product did finally arrive, it did not work. We attempted to return the defective product to the Cookstore but we were told they would not take it back and that we would need to deal with the manufacturer. We won’t be ordering from Cook Store again.
Terrible Website Item Will Not Ship On Item - Look Elsewhere
I wish I have went through all these reviews before placing an order on cookstore.ca.
They are droppshippers, they can't ascertain the availability of products on their store.
It states shipping will be in 7-14 days. It is now going to over 2 weeks, they said my order has no sign of shipping. I will take them up with Paypal and will never buy from there again.

Great prices but they don't send products...
Great prices so ordered five items three months ago and received only two. Asked for a refund 90 days after placing the order and they refunded all but one, saying that it was in shipping... two weeks later, still not received. Oops, now they say it is not in shipping - will be another 2-4 weeks. Right. Liars.

It took way to long (3 weeks) for our order of a Wolf Blender to arrive and when it finally did it was a multi function cooker. It took me 3 days to get through to a real person for customer support (Brenda is the only reason this isn't a 1 star rating). But now they are out of the product I ordered and they have not provided any additional info as to when I will get my order. Highly recommend not using this company. I chose it because it is located in Canada and I am Canadian but I regret that now.
Buyer Beware of Sale Items
Ordered a product in Sept/21. Didn’t receive the product. After three months of perseverance inquiring about my order, they finally said they didn’t have the item, but they would substitute for another product (which they did: thank you). However, they also informed me that the price difference would be refunded. I have contacted them twice for the difference and now they don’t reply to my email. It isn’t the dollar value that is the issue, but the principle. Especially after waiting for the item since September.
Wouldn’t recommend this site!
Cookstore is not a good place to buy
Do yourself a favour and read all the bad reviews. I won't get into the details but suffice to say terrible customer service. Will have to go through fraud dept with credit card to get my money returned.
