I started using Coolmuster when I…purchased a smartphone
I started using Coolmuster when I purchased my 1st smartphone. I like that it lets me add my contact details on my desktop PC with a FULL keyboard so I don't have to do all that on that tiny phone keyboard. I've added addresses as well as phone numbers. So if I'm going somewhere I haven't been, I just touch the Contact entry and it finds the address through Google Maps and GPS.

CoolMuster Android Assistant, Version 4.9.49
PROS
- Saving SMS-messages sort of works OK. (As long as they are not MMS or Multipart SMS messages.)
CONS
- Does not handle MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) messages AT ALL!
- Does not handle multi-part SMS messages; only the first part of the message will be saved!
- Sometimes fails to export certain JPG-files!
- Program UI uses Microsoft ATL (Active Template Library) components - but, it does not handle "Windows Sizing Messages" correctly (window redraw fails).
- Program has poor support for MouseWheel events, so wheel-scrolling often does not work in the UI.
- Does not implement the standard "System/Window Menu"-feature at all.
- Program UI appears to overlay two different layers in order to create a fake "window shadow", which looks awful.

As far as it goes
As far as it goes, the app works well. I don't understand why a phone cannot be totally backed up.....every app and all associated data content. Deleting an app as a backup/recovery technique is not a solution because all associated data is lost.

Not applicable to what I need
I was trying to save pictures sent to me by texting and to transfer them onto my HP desktop. I don't think that it is possible with Coolmuster. If it is, could you please contact me and explain the procedure.

Great to Have!
Didn't use much; about an hour! Tried to connect my Motorola E5 Plus A8.0.0 but my computer didn't detect it! Changed computer but had already forgotten Coolmuster. Am downloading it again to give it a try! Will come back with update and results!
Update: Downloaded and tried again! Good News: my phone is promptly recognized when connected via USB and WiFi. Access is fast. Could not try any editing/deletion functions since it's a free trial download.
Cons: No preview for images and music.
As usual and not Coolmuster's fault, I don't
like the need to allow USB Debugging on the
phone-
I'd love to keep it and use it but cannot due to government imposed restrictions on international payments in US$

Phone backup works.
The program works great.
My only negative is that it is not intuitive and it takes a while to get the program to perform a backup (I'm not a young person). The help file was good.

Its a good app that does what it says i would personally like a feature to clear system cache, clear browser cookies and history, refresh the ram and also to force bloatware to stop in order to focus on what you need. Ads are also a thing i dont like at all. But i want this app for both a windows hp laptop 64bit win 10. As well as a version for apple iphone that supports all versions of ios.

One of the best transfer apps
One of the best transfer apps, I can easily move files anf photos to and from my pc. only thing is, I receive an error message when I install the app on my smartphone, saying it is out of date... anyway, it works perfectly and I am very content with the program.
