The local branch staff at Coop Funeralcare (Kingsthorpe) were excellent, and discussed funeral plans that were available so could make an informed decision.
Both my parents had Coop funeral plans in place which at the time of their passing took a huge weight off us in our moments of grief on both occasions, so Coop was my first choice for making my own plans.

I had looked online for funeral plans available from Coop and had one simple question to ask, so made a phone call and left a message on their main online number as no one was available to answer. A couple of days later I still had no reply, so asked the same question via email.
The only reason I have given 4 and not 5 stars is due to, still to this day, 4 weeks later I’ve still had no response from either my initial phone call, or email.

Found it very easy to do online, will also help family when the time comes.

The young Co-op funeral care person was very helpful and went through all the burials and cost she was very polite and understanding that person should be a massive help to others in the future.and my wife thanks the Co-operative for being there at the time of need.and we received all our documents 2 weeks later.

My family recently lost our mum and we used Co-op Funeral Parlour in Glenrothes. From start to finish the staff were exceptional. We felt that everyone went above and beyond to care for mum and the family especially Martin who helped us throughout the whole process. They were professional and yet friendly, not that we want to use them too often but when we do, we would not use anyone else. Thank you to all of them but a huge thank you to Martin.

I started with their excellent brochure first, taking time to review clearly explained options. I then bought my plan online, paid a deposit of choice and the remainder by 12 monthly payments, the maximum period given to complete full payment. I received an email acknowledgement immediately. I've only just taken out the plan but it has been trouble free so far. If you prefer to speak to one of their staff first, you can.

The lady had to put up with poor Internet connection. She was so lovely with us and always apologising. It wasn't her fault. She deserves a medal.

When to my local branch..Met by staff member who explained everything to me about Co- Op funeral services..I learnt a lot and was satisfied and took out a plan..Co-Op membership gets you a discount..

All very straightforward. Not something one looks forward to but all handled very well and very efficiently.
