Mat did an excellent job in inspecting and repairing an old vintage chronograph cal. 3017 from the 60's. A complex caliber that 99% of watchmakers out there wouldn't even take a look at it.... See more

I'm a certified watchmaker. I can repair and service watches and pocketwatches. We deal with very expensive watches and low end watches, Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, and more. We have dealt with more than a thousand watch for service. We have started in 2010, we have set up an eBay page for watch service and repair for six years, We are the most popular and have gain thousands of reviews/feedbacks from ebay profile page. That can be seen on my website to view it, including the link toward of my ebay profile feedback page. Now we have decided to move on to TrustPilot platform and we are looking forward to using it. We only carried out using professional tools such as Bergeon and high quality (moebius and also we follow what company recommends) oils for the job. We are known to take time and we don't rush into doing watch and repair service to get it out the door soon as possible. That's not how we do. This is why we keep the watch extra three to five days after watch is completed for service to make sure and monitoring the watch is running very well without a issue to meet us satisfaction and confidence before we send it back to the watch owner. This is why we have a very low rate of return back to us if the watch goes wrong. That is our high priority of standard work and quality of check too. We may be the only company who do a full written report of each watch, taking photo during watch disassemble and timegrapher results. We do this for watch owner for peace of mind to show the proof that the work has been carried out on the watch. This is very useful if you are planning to sell your watch in the future with a written report/supported documented by us and the photos. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further details or visit my website.

Fast, fairly-priced and transparent servicing for an obscure Soviet watch

I'd been pulling my hair out trying to get my 1950's Soviet watch repaired and serviced. Every company I'd approached had told me I was wasting my time trying to get it fixed in the UK and that they'd only be willing to try for a massive fee and a two-month wait.

I'd heard about Mat on a watch collector's forum, and thought I'd contact him via his website to see if he could help. He received the watch on a Friday, and within 10 days it had been repaired with spare parts, fully serviced and even had the case and crystal cleaned. He'd kept in touch throughout the process and even sent pictures of the repair as it was underway, and was totally transparent about pricing (which was very reasonable).

He even sent back a typed-up breakdown of what had been done to the watch along with full timegrapher results.

All in all, highly recommended based on my experience.
