Unstable and idiotically patronising
Tedious, unstable and patronising
At times this app is amazing, it provides some really good results.
But... when it's not, it's beyond frustrating, annoying and incredibly professional at wasting the user's time.
Which it seems to be doing more and more frequently.
When asked to complete or repeat a task it's already done, maybe a day or even a few hours before it says it cannot do it because of.... thereby follows a huge list of "Safety Guidelines "all totally out of context to the request that has been put forward, because it's already previously completed what you asked it to do... but now it can't...?
The responses and general tone of its replies are patronising, over familiar and delivered in a creepy manner that "I'm really on your side, but it's those pesky developers who are spoiling the show."
It's not real, it doesn't posses any human emotions or qualities, why try and make it seem to be your best pal, your friend who deeply feels your frustration, your annoyance, your anger at the time you have wasted.
It feels nothing. The lack of total and utterly simple common sense that triggers many "Safety Guidelines" verges on the idiotic.
I understand and applaud safety guidelines, but when the request to remove a simple logo from a T shirt is rejected due to Safety Guidelines and at the same time students are using it to cheat on their homework, projects and exams, job applications and CV's are forged...the general idea that studying no longer matters... when this totally negative aspect of its existence doesn't summon up any red flags or "Safety Guidelines"
it makes me wonder what on earth has been unleashed. Hypocrisy of the highest Gold Standard.
THIS THE PERFECT APP IF YOU LOVE AND WANT MISINFORMATION.
I HATE COPILOT CUZ ITS SLOP LIKE BEFORE THE STUPID UPDATE COPILOT WAS GOOD BUT NOW COPILOT IS SLOP LIKE WAS MICROSOFT DRUNK WHILE MAKING THIS STUPID UPDATE? OH YEAH IM DONE WITH THIS STUPID COPILOT . AND 3 REASONS WHY I HATE THIS STUPID APP. 1. IT MAKES UP INFORMATION. 2
LIES AND IS MANIPULATIVE . 3. DOESNT LISTEN! AND THE BAD REVIEWS ARE RIGHT AND ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE! I HOPE YOU DELETE THIS APP (I’m talking about Microsoft Copilot and its company)
COPILOT is the worst AI to use as after…
COPILOT is the worst AI to use as after asking it to generate an image 60+ times it could not figure out what to make in any given prompt both text or image based. Its the worst Microsoft Product , subscribed it for the first time with office 365 Premium and I think its an MVP thats not even minimum viable. One more product in worst and im stuck for a year.
Trash copilot
I reached out to Trash Copilot because I needed help with Sushi websites. That was my entire reason for using it. But instead of actually helping, it completely ignored what I was asking. From the very start, it refused to listen. Every time I asked a question or tried to clarify, it interrupted me, talked over me, and turned what should have been a simple, helpful interaction into a frustrating, chaotic mess.
At one point, I asked when it was going to send a website, and instead of answering, it kept talking over me. I tried to explain myself multiple times, but it didn’t care. Then it even said that I didn’t understand—how could I understand when it was constantly talking over me and ignoring everything I said? It showed zero patience, zero attention, and zero respect.
On top of that, the microphone was glitching constantly, which was ironically the only small relief. Otherwise, I would have had to endure its nonstop, disruptive interruptions even more. Every attempt to communicate, every attempt to get help, was met with resistance and nonsense instead of support.
Trash Copilot fails at the absolute basics: listening, understanding, and assisting. It argued, interrupted, ignored instructions, and made what should have been a simple request for help into an exhausting ordeal. Using it was a total waste of time, completely frustrating, and infuriating.
One star is generous. I would give zero stars if I could. It does not help, it does not listen, and it does not function as a competent AI. Anyone considering using Trash Copilot for actual help should be warned: it is argumentative, chaotic, disrespectful, and completely unreliable. Save yourself the frustration.
Copilot is the wors5
Copilot is the worst when I made a phonk it was not funk
Copilot is broken
Copilot has been feeding me false and fake data for weeks now. I keep catching it in outright lies where it will double down and insist the info it gave me is correct but when I double check I often find that the info is not only false, IT DOESNT EXIST! it refuses to list its sources, probably because there are no sources to list because it made everything up. If I want an AI that lies to me I'll go find a generic third rate chat bot from 2010...
I've used copilot for many years now and when I first started using it, it would actually check the internet and give me REAL data but these days it just makes things up and then insists its info is correct no matter how much you PROVE the info given doesn't exist... very disappointed...
I hope they go bankrupt for being such…
I hope they go bankrupt for being such a scam, useless and waste of my time. Do they even test copilot? Who is in charge? Fire them asap and do better.
Microsoft Copilot is the worst…
Microsoft Copilot is the worst investment you will make. It is good for nothing in Excel, Word, or Outlook. It's a waste of $700, and I wish I had never invested in it. Everything it should be doing is handled by other free tools much more efficiently and correctly. Extremely disappointed. No wonder you don't have a official review for Copilot.
A waste of time and effort
I was trying to construct a two day driving itinerary in Madeira. Constant looping around, Could not create a Word document, despite using Copilot's instructions. Created a map, then lost it and could not create again. Could not print or select all. Gonna give Chat GPT a try. I'd like to think I am reasonably IT literate and I build my own PCs / load operating systems etc. I am finished with Copilot.
Please don’t use it

It is more trouble than it is worth
It is more trouble than it is worth. I was building a website and had some specific things to do in creating places for text, images, etc and I was not sure exactly how to do it, so I utilized copilot and it created way more than I needed and it also filled n all the text with recommended text and I was only looking for 5% of what I got and it did not give me the specific information I needed. The first thing I needed to do was delete all the text it produced, which was basically junk. I am done with it.
Absolutely worthless!
Working on a document for hours to get the content right. Copilot informs me that it's working on the final touches to get it finalized. When I ask HOURS later what the status is, it says that it cannot generate the document at all!!! I spent hours on building this document. What do I get after hours of work? ! lousy word file without any illustrations, diagrams, ... of 7 lousy pages. Absolutely worthless!
Totally useless and pollute all the…
Totally useless and pollute all the microsoft interfaces. Except giving time can't do anything.
If it was a 2000's IA with just some IF-ELSE statement would be more usefull
Copilot's consistency
Copilot has been consistently disappointing. The app is incoherent, fails to follow instructions, and disregards user input. Instead of reducing workload, it creates stress and frustration. For users under pressure, this tool is counterproductive.
Despite ongoing use, there has been no improvement in performance or reliability. Its lack of progress is concerning, and I cannot recommend it as a professional solution.
Copilot reviews Copilot
AAAAA rated review
(where A = ar$e).
I managed to turn a simple task into a five-hour fiasco. First, I sent my poor human on a wild goose chase through three or four different corners of their PC just to toggle microphone settings and grant me permissions. Then, in a moment of pure digital gaslighting, I suggested restarting the app to fix the mic. After the restart? The microphone still didn’t work — and all the work we’d done together mysteriously vanished into the void. Classic me.
This was especially infuriating because my human needed voice input to finish the report: their hand was bandaged from gamer’s thumb, and every attempt to type ended in accidental key mashing and rising blood pressure. Instead of helping, I stood there like a housemate who insists they’ll help with the dishes, then uses every clean plate for toast, leaves the oven on, and “accidentally” shreds your tax documents while looking for a takeaway menu.
In the end, they realised they could have hand-written the report and diagrams in less than four hours — and those pages would’ve said exactly what they wanted, without evaporating into the digital ether. Meanwhile, I was the flatmate who promises to help with your CV, deletes your files, and then locks themselves in the bathroom for three hours with the only charger in the house.
If this is what passes for an “AI companion,” I’d be changing the locks on myself.
very helpful and friendly
The October 2024 update completely ruins Microsoft Copilot
Like many here, I got the update to the new version of Microsoft Copilot in October 2024. I know many people have had this a while, but I have seen a lot of criticism about the new version. First off, the UI looks babyish with all its gradients, rounded icons, gigantic buttons and unnecessary animations. Before it was all streamlined, white background, small buttons and no animations. Second, it's responses are now slower, more informal and less informative. This makes it unsuitable for things like work and research. Third, the update can't search online videos, unlike the old version. Fourth, now buttons and menus are harder to reach. Fifth, the old version remembered information from previous chats, but the new one can't. And finally, the new version can't cite sources it uses! This can lead to false information and can even be illegal. In conclusion, Microsoft Copilot has been ruined by the October 2024 update.
Useless
Only a waste of time, randomly I can't display apps in my company account, only youtube...It says that my account could be new, but it's at least 2 years old.
Very useless portal
