My husband and I are just back from an incredible 14-day Egypt & Nile Cruise Itinerary crafted by Hugh. Everything was flawless, from our wonderful guides, to the private vans and transfer agents waiting to whisk us to and from every flight, to our cruise aboard the Oberoi Philae itself. I had a rough idea of the itinerary I hoped to piece together, but even as an extremely experienced traveler, could never have navigated Egypt on my own. From my first conversation with Hugh, where we discussed the various Nile boats to choose between, and the lovely historic hotels to stay at before and after, I knew we were in excellent hands. Hugh was terrifically responsive, as well, when we had to change our flights due to political unrest in Iran and Doha. That said, we felt 100 % safe in Egypt and I can't recommend a grand tour there highly enough if you are looking for a bucket-list trip. Also, the new Grand Egyptian Museum, G.E.M. is worth a trip to Cairo in itself! Highly recommended.

We booked a 12 night tour of Egypt as our Honeymoon. Words can not really express how incredible our trip was. From the initial call with Hugh, planning our route and listening to all my wants, to multiple versions of the itinerary, Hugh was supportive, helpful and professional. The whole experience was organised down to the last detail and once there our guides and drivers looked after us very well. The hotels were luxurious, our guides were knowledgeable and made our trip unforgettable.

As a solo female traveller I was very pleased with the excellent programme that Hugh put together for me and everything went very smoothly with all the transfers from airport to hotels etc.
I really appreciated having my own guide to take me to the step pyramid and the new Egyptian Museum as I was not hindered by crowds and waiting on others.
All the accommodation was very good in Cairo, Aswan and on the cruise on lake Nassar with Abu Simbal being just magical. All in all a wonderful trip which i would do again.

Have now had three amazing trips to India all organised by Bala. We have just come back from two weeks in Kerala where we had a fantastic trip with many wonderful experiences. Bala is always really helpful in ensuring that we have the perfect trip. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Corinthian Travel.

We had a fabulous trip to Egypt planned by Hugh from Corinthian. We reached out very last minute and he was able to accommodate our requests at a very popular time of year. Our guide in Cairo was exceptional as we asked questions ranging from events of over 5,000 years ago to issues of life in Egypt today. The St Regis was exceptional. The second part of our adventure on The Zahra Dahabiya was beyond memorable. After many days in bustling Cairo, the slower pace of life on the boat was welcome as we cruised the River Nile and visited so many iconic spots on our way from Luxor to Aswan. The staff on the boat were hands on, and very friendly. Our guide for this part of our trip that ended in Abu Simbel was also exceptional. All of our drivers and transfers took place flawlessly. We only have superlatives to explain this visit to Egypt.

Absolutely fantastic tour of India thanks to Bala and local agents. Because of their careful planning and advice we had a life-changing experience, making our pilgrimage to various historic Buddhist sites and enjoying the magnificent culture and cuisine of this multi-faceted and challenging country. We would not have been able to enjoy as much or visit so many historic and wonderful places without the careful coordination and consultation with Corinthian and the guides and drivers they provided. Sunrise on the Ganges during Maha Kumbh Mela brought us joy we won't forget.

We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Egypt all perfectly planned by Hugh at Corinthian. The quality was absolutely exceptional from my first contact with Hugh to arriving back in Manchester UK.
Their provision of Egyptologists, local representatives and drivers made the trip a breeze. The Dahabiya we sailed from Esna to Aswan was superb - crew, food, the boat quality and the visits with our guide. A flawless Egyptian adventure! Hugh’s seamless planning and attention to detail made every moment effortless, with superb guides who brought Egypt’s history vividly to life. Thoughtful touches like first-class transport, refreshments, and genuine warmth elevated the experience, while the Lake Nasser cruise aboard the Omar El Khayam delivered outstanding comfort, cuisine, and unforgettable excursions. Sailing to Abu Simbel was the crowning highlight of a holiday that exceeded every expectation.

At relatively short notice, Corinthian organised a tour of Kolkata and West Bengal. It was tailored to my specific interests in aspects of the City’s and Region’s history. All was expertly handled and logistics were perfectly executed including car transfers, guides and train bookings. It more than met my expectations and a change in hotels at my request at the end of the trip was quickly dealt with and a refund arranged. Would most certainly consider using Corinthian for future bespoke journeys in India.

Just back from Istanbul after trip to Georgia and Cappadocia. Super organisation from Corinthian with everything working like clockwork. Excellent and knowledgable guides especially our young guide (Tamar) in Georgia. Hotels were all as we hoped for and would highly recommend Hugh and Corinthian

We recently returned from a truly unforgettable tour arranged by Hugh at Corinthian Travel, and I can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations. From the very beginning, the planning process was handled with care, responsiveness, and a genuine desire to tailor everything to our interests. The trip itself flowed beautifully — logistics were flawless, accommodations were excellent, and the pace was just right.

But what really made this holiday exceptional were our experienced Egyptologist guides: Dina and Bessam. They were nothing short of brilliant. Dina’s passion for history, her storytelling, and her deep knowledge of the sites we visited brought every place to life. Bessam complemented her perfectly — his warmth, sense of humor, and thoughtful insights made even the most crowded spots feel personal and special. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to making sure we had the best possible experience were truly outstanding.

Every day felt well planned yet flexible: we saw the highlights, but also discovered little hidden gems we would never have found on our own. The local arrangements — transport, food, entrances — all worked like clockwork.

In short: Corinthian Travel delivered a first-class, bespoke trip — and Dina and Bessam played a huge part in that. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thank you for a trip of a lifetime!

Corinthian Travel listened to what we were interested in and organized a highly enjoyable 2 week trip to Tunisia. We travelled in late September when it was not too hot. Our guide, Hamadi El Mhiri, was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English with a wide vocabulary and a strong voice, as requested. He and his sense of humour added much to our tour. We were driven comfortably and safely. We really enjoyed visiting the historic sites, particularly Bulla Regia, Dugga, Kairouan, El Djem and Kekouane. The kasbahs and souks added to our experience. People were friendly throughout and the smaller hotels Corinthian Travel selected were admirable. Very pleased to have visited Tunisia and to gain a feel of its long history and culture before it becomes overly popular. It is much more than just a beach.

We have just returned from the most amazing trip to Egypt, combining two of Corinthian's itineraries: 'Off the Beaten Track', which took us to the much-less visited but still incredibly beautiful sites such as the Beni Hassan tombs and Abydos, both of which we had to ourselves; and 'Egypt with Palace Hotels', which focuses on the much more touristed areas of Giza, Luxor and Aswan, but allowed us to stay in some beautiful and iconic hotels in rooms with absolutely stunning views.

We had wanted to go to Egypt for a long time, but couldn't work out how to do it by ourselves which is our usual preference (driving through Middle Egypt is complicated because of police checks, and in the cities it's really not for the faint-hearted!) and we didn't want to join a big group or be part of a standard package cruise. Hugh Fraser and Corinthian provided exactly the solution we needed - a carefully-crafted private three-week programme with our own driver, and two guides - one for North and Middle Egypt, and one for South Egypt - whose expert knowledge, humour and individual thoughtfulnesses really added huge value to our experience. Every day brought something new and remarkable to see and do, but there was also a sufficient amount of downtime built in to our programme for us to relax and enjoy spending time in some stunning hotels (Mena House, The Old Cataract Hotel, and the Al Moudira hotel being particular highlights). We also had plenty of time for independent exploration, which we appreciated.

Every single detail of our trip was meticulously thought through, everything ran incredibly smoothly, and all we had to do was to enjoy being in an amazing country, learn all we could about its history and contemporary life, and revel in absolutely everything that came our way. Thank you Hugh, Corinthian, South Sinai, Ahmed, Shereen, our drivers, and everyone we met en route - you all contributed to one of the best travel experiences we've had and we want to return!

Another incredible holiday with Corinthian Travel from Istanbul to Cappadocia organised by Hugh. As always everything ran to perfection and completely matched our brief. Wonderful hotels, a guide who was not only knowledgeable but also a great communicator. Every place was fascinating – çay stops in local villages, spectacular archeological sites and a wonderful balloon ride over the extraordinary rock formations of Cappadocia. We have just returned from the most amazing holiday travelling through Egypt & Jordan. Hugh was first class, from our initial contact & putting together the most wonderful trip. His attention to detail was outstanding, whilst our local guides, reps., drivers & hotels could not be bettered. We would highly recommend a visit to Egypt to see the pyramids, along with a cruise down the Nile to see all the temples. Jordan was also very enjoyable with the highlight being Petra. Everyone we encountered was so friendly & helpful & went out of their way to make this a memorable holiday. I have used Corinthian twice in the last year for travel to Jordan and Tunisia. They are fantastic to work with and provide excellent service. The itinerary is very good and you get to see and experience unique activities and wonderful accommodation. Our on the ground guides were wonderful as well. I plan to work with Hugh and Corinthian again. Wonderful service and luxury all the way; highly highly recommend!

Our family’s visit to Tunisia was most rewarding. In making all the arrangements Hugh Fraser’s attention to detail was outstanding and Rafik, our guide, was both extremely knowledgeable and tirelessly supportive in coping with our needs. Our driver, Ammar, managed our journeyings with great skill and made us very comfortable. The only thing that went wrong was that Tunis Air managed to lose one of our suitcases - and took a week to find and return it!

We had a wonderful trip to Tunisia which opened our eyes to the amazing Roman sites there - we went at the beginning of June and throughout the weather was fine - some long drives with our guide and driver - both excellent in the way they looked after us - the three hotels we stayed at were fabulous.
