Cannot thank Graham enough for getting me over the finish line with this AP course. From getting in touch before hand with the online tutorials which helped me grasp the fundamentals to the classroom where all information was clear and crisp. Classroom environment with fellow students was relaxed and the whole set up was top drawer. I will be getting in touch with Cornerbrook once I start getting some on site AP experience to start the process of obtaining the blue NVQ card. Thanks again.👍🏻

I’ve done multiple courses through cornerbrooks now and every time I have enjoyed it. Very knowledgeable in every aspect of the crane industry. Staff are very friendly and very helping. Trainer Damien was top notch insightful knowledgeable and beyond what any trainer has done beofre to ensure that I'm taking in all the information and retain the training while on the exam and in the workplace. The whole experience with Cornerbrook was excellent.

The group was small which meant we got more interaction with the trainer. Graham was teaching us and he was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything to do with cranes. I completed the A40 Slinger/Signaller course and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, both theory and practical.

All of the staff were great and very encouraging and helpful. I couldn’t recommend the course and Cornerbrook enough.

Definitely recommend to anyone.

Recently completed a crawler crane 1 week course, the trainer was called owen and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish, i honestly could not recommend him or praise him enough for how much he helped me and answered all my questions making sure he went above and beyond to ensure i fully understand.

Owen made the whole learning experience from start to finish so relaxed and fun, and helped massively with the theory part giving ways to help remember certain topics ect. Also Owen being an operator himself with many years experience he was able to offer a vast ammount of real world experience and scenarios which also helped with my questions as he would refer back to a time when X,Y Z happened which was very easy to understand and learn from.

Again i really cant thank Owen enough for all his time,effort and passion, Top bloke! Thank you.

Excellent course. Well recommended to anybody looking to get a crane supervisor ticket. Everybody was very approachable and pleasant, with all aspects covered and explained very well. 👍

I did a 3 day course to become a lift supervisor, When I arrived I was welcomed, all the instructors and operators are great guys, really easy to talk to. They would answer any questions that I had. They also have a well set up yard with everything that you need.

I just passed my three day training course doing slinger and signalling. All the staff are great. They are all friendly approachable people and are brilliant trainers.
They made me feel calm and relaxed during the theory and practical exam and gave a bit of help along the way.
Definitely one of the best training courses I’ve been on.

I’ve just successfully completed the Appointed Person (AP) Lift Planning course, and I can’t recommend this training company highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional — well-structured, informative, and highly relevant to real-world lifting operations.

A huge thanks goes to our trainer, Graham, whose depth of knowledge and passion for the subject truly set the standard. His approach to teaching was clear, engaging, and always rooted in practical application. He didn’t just prepare us to pass the course — he ensured we understood the responsibilities, legal frameworks, risk assessments, and technical planning required of a competent Appointed Person.

What stood out was Graham’s ability to break down complex concepts like crane configurations, load path analysis, and lift categorisation into understandable components, all while encouraging participation and critical thinking. He created a supportive environment where no question felt too small, and his real-life industry insights brought the material to life.

I now feel confident in my ability to plan and manage lifting operations safely and competently, thanks to the high standards of instruction and support I received throughout the course. What a great experience from start to finish! In the classroom Owen and Damo were very knowledgeable and couldn’t have helped anymore I was worried when it came to the theory but they helped put my mind at ease with the knowledge and feedback I was given. A great place to learn!
