First of all Iam a long time customer, bought many products and until now was very satisfied with the items. Thankfully I never needed the customer service until now. I bought my second Hard Shell Jacket (through Kickstarter again), and I must have gotten a Sunday product because after around half year of using the jacket in the city (not hiking, not having a dog, or washing yet etc.) there are tiny cracks in the cuffs and the overall jacket seems of poorer quality, pretty worn out. I approached the customer service who couldn't believe that it is a quality issue, rather must be misuse happen by me in very passive aggressive manner.

Cortazu is funny,as they repeatedly claiming that I misused the jacket in a rough condition,true I live in a big city (which can be rough) but I never used in a real tough hiking experience whatsoever. It is arrogant to say that Cortazu products can never have any defect as their products are perfect.

The jacket makes a solid impression and features fine touches such as zips under the armpits for extra insulation. Especially when combined with a Cortazu fleece or mid layer, you have an upper body covering for a wide variety of weather types.
The AR differs from the All Weather in a limited number of ways, but the most important is that there is less room for more than two layers of clothing under the AR. I wear the AR hardshell in combination with the AR fleece. For me, this combination works perfectly for rainy conditions at a temperature of -5 to 20 degrees C (like summer Iceland baby! 🤩) .

I have been using different layers of Cortazu for several years with great pleasure: a Mountain Hardshell Jacket, various softshell jackets and insulated jackets. In just a few words: waterproof and windproof, warm but moisture is well wicked away, packable compactly in my photo backpack and beautiful in appearance. Highly recommended for any type of weather.

In the store in Amsterdam we got all the help we need.
The rain jacket was not in store in the color we wanted but they send it from the warehouse to our house. The jacket came the next day!

Send my new jacket to repair a zipper which was damage out of nowhere. They didn't do anything with my cortazu jacket i send to the repair-service. They just packed it into a clear plastic sheet and send it back to me. Nothing has been done. I opened the GLS-package and the zipper was untouched and still broken. The worst service I ever got. I had to send it on my own cost.
