I recently bought a sofa from couchek, and i have to say, it's one of the best purchases ever I've made. The sofa is incredibly comfortable and has a luxurious feel to it. it fits perfectly in my living room. What really stood out was the customer service, super helpful and answered all my questions quickly. Delivery was on time. If you're looking for high-quality furniture and great service these are your guys I'll definitely be recommending them to all my friends family!

I am very pleased with the bed I bought. It's sturdy and looks fantastic in my room. Unfortunately, the packaging was slightly damaged when it arrived, but the bed itself was in perfect condition.

Legitimate conmen unfortunately

I bought a sofa from them in November and initially they were amazingly responsive and understanding as I had a lot of delays with my build but they patiently waited for a time I could arrange delivery which ended up being May of '24. I had some reservations based on some reviews but they reassured me. They sent me a link to pay them (first red flag) but I used a credit card. Once the sofa came that's when it all went wrong. The delivery was meant to be between 5-9pm but the delivery drivers didn't show up until close to Midnight. The sofa was fine, no complaints on the condition and composition overall. They replicate designs online and its not premium but I knew that going in so no issue. The finish however wasn't what we discussed, the interior trim where the seats join is a black material when I was told it would all be the same as the outside. There are also hooks which while pretty common wasn't what I wanted. One of the middle pieces didn't have the right hooks so I had that sent back with the delivery men. When I contacted them explaining that I no longer wanted the sofa because of those things and the fact that was too big for the space, THEY GHOSTED ME. Absolute radio silence. I got the number of the owner (I believe) and I called him but all he did was try and get me off the phone with a promise of getting in touch but NOTHING. He even pretended I called the wrong number when I called off a different number. Pathetic really. Don't have a 'hassle free' returns policy if you won't let people return the products!
I'll definitely be reporting them to trading standers because despite me wanted to settle things civilly they've behaved in a shocking manner. They will certainly deliver you a sofa which for some I'm sure will do the job. But if anything goes wrong you're on your own! Pay with credit cards if you go ahead.

The sofa is beautiful and very comfortable. However, the assembly instructions were a bit confusing, which made the setup take longer than expected. Still, the end result is fantastic and I'm very happy with it.

Great value for money!

Having placed an order for a bed with this company, I was advised shipping would be 3-14 working days. Well that came and went, they advised it would be delivered the following weekend. I received no correspondence from them on the delivery following this, having called numerous times when my delivery was due I was informed that actually it wouldn't be that weekend as it was a religious holiday for the drivers and it would be delivered the next weekend, this is now well beyond the delivery time provided by them in the first place. The next weekend came around I was told I would receive a delivery slot... which I didn't again, numerous calls to find out where my delivery was but this time they dropped it loading it on to the van and it was damaged so they were going to deliver a new one to me on Wednesday. Somehow a delivery that has already taken 4 weeks can suddenly be delivered in 3 days??? weird to me. Anyway, I cancelled the order, this should take 3-5 days for funds to appear back, no funds yet 10 days later, they will be hearing from my lawyer and I will be getting this money back. Abysmal company do not order from them, I cannot believe they even function at all like this.

- Refund has now been processed and received, however I still struggle to provide a review higher than 1* as they were a nightmare to deal with from beginning to end.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!

The sofa they sent me was completely different than the one I ordered. They’re using sofa club photos and trying to replicate the sofa. It’s nowhere near the quality - there were marks on the sofa and it was not the same spec at all.

Service is abysmal, delivery was late and also at 9.30pm at night when the kids were asleep! The after sales support was non existent. Malik (apparently the manager, but clearly the owner) contacted me when I threatened to get the charge reversed. He said he’d sort it out and then ignored my messages and didn’t call back. No one replied (via email or WhatsApp), so I had to contact my credit card company, who reversed the charge without a problem, although it took weeks. First time I’ve ever had to do that with a merchant.

My advice;
1. Don’t order just because it’s cheaper, pay extra and use a trustworthy merchant.
2. If you have ordered and they’re ignoring your return/refund requests - contact your card provider and ask them to refund it. You’ll need to tell Couchek that the goods are available for collection and to request a refund and allow 15 days to pass, so do this right away. Document all communication - including lack of response. They won’t have a leg to stand on to dispute.
3. Contact trading standards if you do encounter these same issues. They’re legally obliged to cooperate under the consumer act, so they will be shut down and hopefully prosecuted soon, if enough people report their actions.

Really really bad business - terrible experience.

This company is run by scammers. They take your money and then completely fail to respond. They sent me the wrong, damaged item and lied about giving a refund. After that, they completely ignored all my attempts to contact them. Do not order from this company unless you want to be out of pocket. Do not let them take any more of people's money. Report them if possible to prevent others from experiencing the same issue.
