Dear Course Hero Support Team,
I am writing SECOND time for my recent purchase of a Course Hero subscription to explore past assignments but found it unhelpful. As per your policy stating "Cancel anytime with a money-back guarantee," I canceled my subscription within a few hours of enrolling.

Despite canceling promptly, I have not yet received my refund. Attached are the relevant screenshots showing my subscription enrollment, cancellation, and your stated refund policy.

I kindly request you to honor your stated policy and process my refund at the earliest. I trust that your business upholds ethical practices, and I appreciate your prompt resolution of this matter. If not resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate further.

This website has been a disappointing experience and feels quite unreliable. It seems they will find any excuse to terminate or ban accounts without fair warning or justification. I would advise potential users to exercise caution and consider other options. they decided to terminate my account all because i asked for a refund?? then proceed to lure around my account and accuse me of uploading work from years ago just to have something to use against me in order to terminate my account lol what a joke of a website.

They are refusing to refund my money. They are claiming they refunded and it no where to be found. So I’m going to take this case very far and seriously.

I cancelled my subscription. They decided to reinstate it months later without my permission , contacted them to no avail. Went through PayPal who sided in their favour . So I thought …well I can’t cancel it and they won’t refund me . So I will use the services at least . My account has been blocked for opening a dispute despite the dispute closed …so I am paying for a service I didn’t want and now I can’t use . Absolute thieving scum . Avoid

Thieves really Cancelled our membership and still they charged us for 6 more months! That’s a lot of money Their policy is to reimburse 30 days… Bless their hearts!

Do not let me use the website for free.

I just payed for a year thinking it was going to payed monthly and I could cancel anytime.
shocked the hell out of me. I then looked at what was available for my course and there was zero essays to look at. I contacted them by filling out the online form and they issued a refund straight away (150 odd dollars) through PayPal which I payed with. I came onto trust pilot to see reviews and my heart sank. Their reason for refund was that I hadn't used the membership. just a heads up that they aren't crooks in my particular case.

Course Hero is charging someone that is not alive. It is hitting my account. They know exactly what happened and still will not refund the upcoming year. How do they justify charging someone that is dead? Very unethical. Shady.
Buyer beware.

You can find helpful information some of the times. However, fdocument files for courses are not arranged in chronological and alphabetical orders.

Great for study assistance

I registered on Course Hero in 2019 and worked as a tutor, answering students' questions in Mathematics. The platform initially provided a great opportunity to share knowledge and earn some income. However, for some time now, I have been unable to access my account. Despite several attempts, I cannot log in, and I still have earnings in my account from the questions I answered.

I am requesting that my account be reinstated or normalized so that I can recover the money that remains there. This issue has been ongoing, and I hope Course Hero can resolve it promptly.

While I appreciate the platform’s opportunities, I believe greater attention to account recovery and support for tutors is necessary.

Horrible service. 80% WRONG information given

I find it difficult to use. I only uploaded documents once before understanding the terms, when I asked them to delete them they refused. I would not recommend u sing this site at all.

Course Hero saved me prepping for finals this year. Not sure how I'd have managed without it - easy to use, easy to upload my own docs in exchange for other docs. Definitely recommend to any student looking for help.

The website is difficult to read, feels like there is too much activity on a single screen.
I don’t understand the process for uploading my study materials. The site doesn’t seem to be built for anyone who is a new user. It seems to assume a level of knowledge about how the info sharing works.

Do not trust this website. They are scams! I tried to buy $30 monthly subscription and got charged 143 and they would not give me a refund when they said they would. They told me they didn’t charge me but seen it taken out my account, i even went negative because of them. Instead they took it out of my transaction so it does not show on my statements and i was not able to show proof to my bank. Do not trust them!!!

If I could give a 0 stars I would. After years of using coursehero my account was terminated stating multiple infringements of copyright and plagiarism.
1. I have never had an infringement or been accused of plagiarism in my life.
2. When filing a dispute, the response I received was vague and go no answer as to how or why.
3. When calling the support group I was informed the compliance group that handles this doesn't have a phone number or any way to speak with them and only responds to email.

So far two of my disputes have had vague nothing that has substantial reasoning and only that a particular assignment I turned in was the disputed upload but, doesn't specify who has the copyright and how it is related.

This platform has been a disappointing experience. As a tutor specializing in Nursing, Biology, Health Science, Nutrition, Pharmacology, and Anatomy, I completed all required verifications, but my account was terminated without explanation. Despite repeated attempts to contact support to withdraw my $900 balance, I received no response. Students may want to consider alternatives.
