Helpful phone agent, quick result

I had a positive (payout!) result, with a two-day turnaround. When I phoned to make sure I was eligible to claim, the phone consultant was very helpful, and explained my options with great clarity.
I’ve used CoverMore to insure my trips for nearly a decade (and never needed to claim,) so it was nice to receive a payment!

Beware of Cover-More!

Paid $2,500 AUD for international insurance with Cover-More through Flight Center.

My wife was injured in a fall requiring water rescue, medical transfer, hospitalization, doctors care etc.

Cover-More and their accomplice World Travel Protection were contacted on the day of the accident which was four days before departure.

Despite 11 phone calls, 13 emails providing doctors certificates, incident report and medical receipts, Cover-More & World Travel Protection supplied no assistance at all to help my wife travel home safely and comfortably.

Incredibly poor service and total lack of care. Why pay insurance if the company does not provide?

Cover-More were not present in our hours of need, their accomplice World Travel Protection (great name for a probable two person scam operation) went silent. We were strung along for four days that they were going to help to fall silent on our departure day.

I am lucky I was able to deal directly with the airline and pay for a bed on the flight, organise wheel char access and other requirements to get my wife home safely and comfortably. I also paid all out of pocket medical expenses.

What did Cover-Less pay for? NOTHING!!!!

BUYERS BEWARE, I BELIEVE FROM MY EXPERIENCE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Use a company that actually provides insurance services and not this company that from my experience behave fraudulently.

Easy access to take out cover in plain…

Easy access to take out cover in plain and simple language.
Claim procedure also straight forward and approved within two days!!
An exceptional experience in view of general derogatory reputation of the insurance industry.
Will definitely recommend and use Cover-More again.

Prompt response!

While it was tedious to gather doctors reports and complete the paperwork process (totally understandable) Covermore were prompt to respond and approve our claim.

Quick claim refund

I was impressed with their quick response and received my money back quickly. This was great because my flights cancelled before our trip so we had to pay extra flight and room in different city plus lost our money in hotel already booked. Great to get our money back with no fuss

Fast efficient service

We made a claim for a cruise we could not board, due to Cyclone Alfred threatening to impact our home on the day of departure. We submitted the claim, were notified the claim had been received and were informed our claim had been successful, within the stated ten days.
Highly recommend Cover-More for fast, efficient service.

Claim was delayed

There was a delay to processing the claim as it was sent to CBA even though the forms clearly said Bankwest.Obviously some one didn’t read it properly as we received an email requesting to send it all ag.

Great customer service, and very prompt claim resolution

We've been insuring with CoverMore for a few years, and have never made a claim; until recently for cancelled flights and additional /unforeseen expenses occurred, as a result of the flight cancelation.

Submitting the online claim was easy and straightforward. The claim was reviewed as per timelines provided by CoverMore; and was approved without any fuss.

Just make sure you provide all the documentation required for CoverMore to assess your claim.

We are very happy with the service provided by CoverMore.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible! I honestly don’t know how Cover More Insurance is still in business. The level of incompetence here is mind-blowing. I’ve had more problems with them than I’ve had with insurance companies from third-world countries! They have no clue how to handle claims, their customer service is a joke, and don’t even get me started on their confusing policies. If you want a company that treats you like a number and makes you want to pull your hair out, then Cover More is for you. Trust me, even insurance in a third-world country is 10 times better than this. Zero stars if I could give them that.”

Positive claims experience

I was injured on a recent trip and contacted emergency assistance who were extremely supportive. They followed up every couple of days to see how I was doing and provided valuable information on what documents, etc I would need to make a claim. I lodged an online claim via the Cover-More website which was very user friendly. The claims team were also helpful when I had a question about one of the documents requested. The outcome was determined within 10 days. Overall a positive experience.

I travel each year and always use Cover-more Travel Insurance. On the occaision of a claim I have found their on-line service to be fast and reliable. Just keep your paper work and submit it on your return. A very easy proposition if you have a scanner or pdf files.

Highly recommend this company

We recently used Covermore Insurance for our travel coverage, and we couldn’t be more impressed with their service. The online process was quick and easy to navigate, and the coverage options were extensive, providing peace of mind throughout our trip. Cannot speak more highly of Covermore…

Cannot speak more highly of Covermore Travel Insurance. We had to cancel a cruise due to an unforseen medical episode. Once we placed our claim into Covermore it was immediately taken on board by them & we were kept informed the whole way through the investigation. Very professional and caring company. Cover more insurance was absolutely…

Cover more insurance was absolutely exceptional in help and support when we needed it, we had our flight delayed
and then cancelled which caused us the miss the departure of our Cruise from Sydney to NZ.
After consulting Cover more we made our own way to Auckland to embark the cruise
we had kept in touch with them and they were outstanding in help and support the claim was dealt with very quickly with great customer care,I always use cover more for insurance and will always use them.

Happy to Recommend CoverMore insurance

We had to cancel our cruise because of an unexpected family member’s serious illness. CoverMore have definitely honoured our contract after a thorough review. Not unexpected when claiming any insurance. This was a very unexpected and costly cancellation and we are very relieved that we took out travel insurance

I had my gold necklace snatched from my neck whilst oversea. I had a police report to verify this and was able to prove ownership. Covermore were prompt in covering my claim within their allotted time frame.

Great travel insurance and hassle free claim process

I recently took cover-more travel insurance for our Australia trip. I had a small incident and claim process was super easy, all online and hassle free.
Claim was accepted within in 10 days and resolution provided. The Claim manager was super helpful.
I would highly recommend it, gives a peace of mind and would buy again for our next trip. Thanks Cover-more team.
