I am seeking a refund

I am seeking a refund. I want to discontinue my service. I signed up for Typeset, one month trial. All of this is a waiting game. Like people have time to wait to hear back from "Support". We have working lives. We have to do this stuff between off-hours, not sit and wait to hear back from you. Then this company only tries to Up Sell me every chance they get. Cancel my subscriptions, provide a refund. (ROLLING eyes)

My experience has been great

My experience has been great. I have been welcomed into the community warmly , yet there is much going on to keep me busy and on my toes. Because I am going there isn’t much time to sit around and put things off til later to get done. I kind of like that.

Not worth it

Course generally is heavy pressure sales marketing. Not worth it. Better value courses and coaching out there. Refund policy is one of the worst out of all the course creation courses out there.

Don't believe their comments below about wanting to 'work with' people that post negative comments here. thats code for 'remove this comment', and we still arent going to refund you. If they wanted to, they would've done the right thing the first, second, third, forth, fifth etc. opportunity that I attempted to get a refund.

Course Creator Challenge Accepted and Enjoyed!

I'm doing the 5-day Course Creator Challenge and really pleased and impressed with how it's structured and broken into very specific steps using their provided AI prompts to leapfrog the challenge of what to pick, to write, to organize, etc. They do encourage the purchase of subscriptions to SamCart and Typeset, both pretty impressive, thorough and reasonable.

Tried to Cancel. No Response

This review is not about the course content but about the lack of customer service response.

I signed up for the basic course via a Facebook Ad. Initially I did ask a question about course content of the customer services team and received a timely response.

About a week in, I decided that this particular business was not for me. It wasn't the course, I just decided my future lay elsewhere.

I emailed Customer services asking about the cancellation process and asking them to confirm that no larger payments at future dates be taken from my account. I never had a reply.

One week later I sent the same email asking them to respond. To this day, several weeks later I've heard nothing.

This is a concern as clearly a number of reviewers has been hit with charges at later dates. Too many it would seem.

It's funny how I got a response to a tech question fairly quickly yet two emails, one week apart, cancelling my membership (after one week) AND asking them not to take any more money from my account go unanswered.

I'm really not impressed as their lack of response sends out all the wrong signals.

User friendly platform for newbies

I think CreatorU provides great support for someone like me who is new to setting up an online business. It provides step by step guidance which helps because it can be overwhelming and stressful if you are new. Being in a community of people who are in the same boat also helps with the idea sharing and motivation!

Unethical practices. They suckered me in with a fake $19 price they got me for 2 more $144 recurring payment before I caught it. What a dirty move to make. Nice scam with the original $19 dollar payment to get my credit card information.

Premium pricing with budget delivery

Very disappointing Accelerator experience – premium price, poor delivery

I joined the SamCart CreatorU Accelerator after a strong sales pitch, but unfortunately the programme did not deliver what was promised.

The Accelerator was sold as a premium, hands‑on programme with personalised support and a clear path to making your investment back. In reality, delivery felt generic and disorganised, with much of the content delivered via group calls that were not tailored to my business or stage.

Several core elements were either not delivered or not delivered as described:

A key call with the named expert I was told I would be working with was cancelled and only rescheduled after I complained.

A further marketing call included in the package never took place.

Deliverables were poor quality and, in some cases, unusable. For example, sales pages were provided only as static images, meaning the copy couldn’t be edited or reused despite this being a stated promise.

An ebook I provided was not returned in the format promised, limiting its usability.

Funnel copy went live without my approval and contained errors.

The programme itself changed direction while I was in it, which gave the strong impression it was still being figured out in real time – more like a beta product, despite being sold at premium pricing.

Perhaps most disappointing was the emphasis, after purchase, on “selling to your list” – something that was never made clear during the sales process and fundamentally changed the suitability of the programme for me.

After a full year, the financial outcome was negligible, despite following the guidance provided. I’ve since learned that others have had similar experiences, and some have received refunds while others have not, which raises questions about consistency and fairness.

SamCart as a software platform may work well for some, but based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering the Accelerator to ask very detailed questions about what is actually delivered, how personalised the support really is, and whether the programme is truly ready to be sold at this price point.

I emailed repeatedly with these issues during the program. It's been an incredibly frustrating experience. I note that the 5 star reviews relate to short FREE 'challenges'.

Unethical.

Very disappointing - i found the layered and constant demands for money 'for the next thing that is essential' very off-putting - thinking that what had been shown (images and what was avaialble - you know 'next' was what I had paid for, but no, you need to pay more money at the next page and so on. This has turned out that what appears to be is a very sophisticated process of extracting more and more money without actually providing very much except 'a taste' of what you might get once you have parted with a huge amount of cash. I feel thoroughly scammed to be honest and appalled if this is the mechanism that you are actually 'training' people to use. I find it unethical at best. I wish to cancel my membership and i want my money back.
