Creature comforts in Putney is the most welcoming Vets I’ve been to. When you arrive you get welcomed with a tea or coffee. They are so interested in your pet and always give you some snacks to make sure they are not stressed in any way . The waiting room is large enough to have your own quiet space . Especially if you have a cat that is scared of dogs. It’s so relaxed and they never keep keep you waiting long . They are very attentive, polite and professional. It’s so spotless and comfortable. I’m glad I made that decision to change as many of my friends have too .

I hope you stay in business for a very long time. oh and by the way they don’t rip you off like most Vets do with their costs and their prices. Recently moved to CC from another local vet with my 7 year labrador. My experience so far has been positive, it is great that you can see the same person each time that offers continuity which was something my other vet group was lacking. My dog has advanced Osteoarthritis and they have been helpful with working with me to look at all options and have seen him at short notice when he's had a flare up. We visited for a skin issue and this was also dealt with positively. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and I'm pleased to see they have added a physio which we will give a go to soon. Nice surroundings too and close by for me!

when ever i go to the clinic the staff are intrested in my dog and fuss over him like mad, and the treat bar is loved by my dog as with any dog, but at the end of the day, my dog is well-loved and treated well, and looked after by a professional team, and I would recommend going there with any of your animals

I asked for a home visit, and nothing was too much trouble thanks to Dr Jess and Eibhin at Balham Creature Comforts. They visited as planned, examined the cat, sorted him out with flea treatment and vaccinations on the spot, and nothing was too much trouble, and it was clear to see that they exuded warmth and caring towards the cat, and to me too, as I was anxious myself, as the cat's carer. They even brought a bag of treats for the cat, and they now have a friend for life in H :) I subsequently popped in to the clinic a few days later, and it is absolutely spotless and very high tech. I joked that it would be easier to be seen there than at the GP! I've taken their monthly subscription for general care, although this doesn't take the place of insurance, but if your animal means the world to you, like mine does, then Creature Comforts at Balham is, without doubt, the best care that you could give them. I'm so so thrilled that I've found Dr Jess and Eibhin, and Creature Comforts, what a joy, and peace of mind is absolutely priceless. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart, and from Herbie xxx

My experience mirrored that of another reviewer on here, Mrs Bouchra. These vets that buy up practices throughout the UK but especially in London, seem to all be in it for as much expansion as they can generate via high consultation costs - and there is no follow up, as another reviewer has mentioned, very difficult to get a call back from a Vet, which never happens, they do seem non caring and only in it for the money - with recommendations of unnecessary tests, unfortunately - like most vets - with very few exceptions - in London anyway -

I took my cat here when she was severely unwell with persistent vomiting. The vet examined her for less than 10 minutes, briefly squeezed her abdomen, and then told me he couldn’t determine the issue without a blood test costing £350, followed by a possible scan for £400.
When I explained that I couldn’t afford those costs, I was simply asked whether I had insurance (which I didn’t) and advised that insurance is helpful. I felt there was very little compassion or I took my cat here when she was severely unwell with persistent vomiting. When I explained that I couldn’t afford those costs, I was simply asked whether I had insurance (which I didn’t) and advised that insurance is helpful. I felt there was very little compassion or effort to explore more affordable options or provide supportive care for my sick pet.
What disappointed me most was the lack of follow-up — no call to check how she was doing despite how unwell she had been.
I ended up taking her to another vet who was extremely caring and thorough. She didn’t require blood tests at all — just Pro-Bind (probiotic paste) for her stomach — and they called the next day to check on her, followed by a review appointment the week after. And to stop my subscription with them and get my cat’s file I had to pay all the rest of the fees for rest of the year minus £10. So be careful and shop around there are much better vets out there.

Dr Alba and her team (shout out to Beth at front desk!) outstanding care and service. Wonderful personalities. You feel like your pets are in the best hands (hard to find in London). 100% would recommend to everyone I know. Very warm and kind as well. thank you so much! Much love from Juno (our cat)

Every time I’m there I’m always impressed with the quality of the clinic. It’s always spotless, nice smells, and the team is always very kind. However; as a premium vet it does come with premium prices. Compared to other vets I’ve noticed urine and blood tests cost more, but the environment and the team make up for it personally.

I can't recommend them enough!!. Ive been with Creature Comfort for over a year and what a lovely team they are. Always so welcoming, warm, professional and great with all the fur babies. Beautiful veterinary clinic, always immaculately clean. Im so happy with the staff, nurses and vets. Every visit has been an absolute pleasure. Super easy when booking via their app, or even calling in. So far, I've been thoroughly impressed by the services and care from the staff. Upon my dog's first visit, we had a vet who was caring and informative. So I wanted to keep his care there. I thoroughly recommend becoming a member and utilising all the benefits that come with a membership. He has his castration soon, so we'll see what the aftercare is like, but I believe he's in good care in Muswell Hill.

We have been with Creature Comforts at St Johns wood since they opened after being with Medivet (We were at CC on day one with our frenchie Betty) , and I honestly cannot fault the care Betty has received.
Rebecca has treated Betty for allergies, removed tumours, performed a toe amputation, and most recently carried out eye removal surgery. Across every procedure, the level of precision, care, and professionalism has been outstanding. What really sets Rebecca apart is that even in situations where Betty has lost an eye and a toe, the outcomes have been handled with such care that she still looks great her skills are fantastic. That attention to detail, both medically and cosmetically, speaks volumes about Rebecca’s skill and pride in her work.
Beyond the surgery itself, the communication and decision-making have always been clear, calm, and compassionate, CC is on the more premium side of costings. We have never felt rushed, pressured, or left uncertain about options it always a conversation of what is best for her. In stressful situations, that kind of confidence and clarity makes an enormous difference.
The wider team at Creature Comforts are equally excellent David is great at difficult conversations and manages to keep a steady grasp. Everyone is kind, attentive in reception, and genuinely invested in the animals they care for. Betty is treated as an individual at every visit, not just another appointment, and that consistency of care is incredibly reassuring and is nothing like we had at Medivet were we always felt rushed and the vet ways always stressed and overworked.
There are other veterinary subscription models that do offer slightly more on paper, such as free X-rays or prescriptions. While I do believe that for longer-term conditions, written prescriptions should ideally be included as part of ongoing care, what matters most in reality is trust, clinical skill, and continuity. On those fronts, Creature Comforts has been exceptional, and we are very glad to be with them.
It is also good to see ongoing updates to the app. One improvement that would be particularly helpful would be having full health records visible, along with a clear way to track dates / reminders for preventative care such as worming and flea treatments. That would make managing long-term care even easier.
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Creature Comforts and do all the time. The standard of care, the skill of the clinicians, and the genuine compassion shown to both pets and owners is outstanding.

We are thrilled with Creature Comforts. The staff are kind and gentle with our dog Bruce. Polite and helpful with queries, insurance and repeat prescriptions. Thorough with health needs helping to get to the bottom of the problem. The monthly payment plan is great and the app makes it easy to get an appointment even last minute. Thank you everyone for your care

Having left my previous vet of 25 years because they were mercilessly ripping me off ( £22.60 for THREE Mirtazapine tablets ).. got 30 from here £38.00 ! I now know what I’ve been missing all these years. The Chiswick team are friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. Over the years I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge on cats and their care : so when CC vet explained things to me I knew she was spot on. No attempt to get you to buy medication and no hidden charges. I joined their club, for £20 per month you can have unlimited consultations plus other perks… fantastic idea ! My first visit exceeded expectations. If you’re fed up with vets who are only in it for the money ( which most are ) PLEASE give these guys a try.. you will not be disappointed.

The team at St Albans always go out of their way to ensure the best care for my 4 year old Cockerpoo.
We experienced the best attention when unexpectedly, we needed an ear check, late on New Year’s Eve.
Couldn’t be more happy with our change of vet last year. Always kind and loving towards the animals.

My rescue dog, Ned, had to have a small procedure and had to be sedated. He is a very anxious dog and the whole team at the St Albans clinic were incredibly kind and helpful and made sure that his time there wasn’t too upsetting for him. I would highly recommend Creature Comforts, they are very friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to make sure pets are comfortable, happy and healthy.

Very easy to book appointment or recieve advice via the chat function on app. All the staff are very welcoming and really work hard to make every visit as comfortable and stress free as possible for both me and my dogs. They have given good clear explanations and clarity of any costs up front. The waiting room is calm and they have giving time for my nervous dog to settle before assessment or treatment.
