Follow-up review 3 months later.
OK, so a few months back I wrote a review which was pretty direct, three months later, I am now looking to follow that up - it's only fair if you write a negative review based on an experience, that should that experience change, you follow that up.
Originally, I had issues with transfer / locking of funds. The customer support did communicate to try to resolve this and did put in place an action to address my concerns.
I am now three months into that, and have received monthly interest / payments based on my allocated funds, without a single problem. There has been zero issues with transferring my awarded funds out of my account, and to be fair, the yield I am getting off my allocation is more than fair.
So, I will follow up one more time, in another three months, to report on consistency. But for now, I will say that the process does work, I am able to withdraw my interest / monthly payments without issue, and the support from the chat team is still consistent.
Conclusion: I actually would recommend Cryptonomy if you are looking to find somewhere to create yield off your crypto.
This review is following my initial challenging review, no-one has asked me to do this, nor has there been any communication with anyone about the content prior to posting. This is my honest opinion, based on my actual experience. If my experience continues as it has been for the last three months, for the next three months, I will be following this up with a 5 star - you must be fair both ways with your reviews if you want people to take them seriously.

Cryptonomy and their YouTube schillers are 100% Scammers
Cryptonomy is 100% a scam operation as advised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, Kraken, Binance, Google and most of the major banks.
Once your funds investment term expires they relock them up for another year. In reality your funds have been cashed out and spent by the company the minute you transfer to their account.
Don't be a fool like I was and hold onto your coins, however if you have to give them away send them to a trust worthy charity.
If Cryptonomy do every return my funds I will be happy to up date and correct the above statement.
Also note: their standard statement is your emails and complaints are AI generated - do your own research and listen to advise from the FCA and the banks.

UPDATE: Their response to my post is false. They won't pay my crypto back despite many many attempts to plead and negotiate with this Ponzi scam. Thieves. I've lost around $200k in crypto with this filth. They won't pay me back because they have already most likely cashed in my crypto a year ago. They are falsely advertised and promoted by dumb YouTubers for a fee of $200 but they are a Ponzi scheme. At first they paid very modest profits for staking at them until I became a 'VIP' investor. When my crypto matured after a year staking they said market volatility causes them to hang on to the crypto but that I should keep hoping to get it back. It's been months now and it's clear they simply take other people's crypto while promising incredible APR. I've reported them to the Australian authorities and federal police. They say they want to help but instead do the opposite. Scammers. Fraudsters. Thieves. They operate the internet with impunity. What a disgrace. Their legal 'fine print' on their website should tell you they are clearly an organised crime syndicate. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER IT! I lost all our family savings on this Ponzi. I should have known better.

Total SCAMMERS
Total SCAMMERS! Cryptonomy will not release my crypto even though it has been over 6 months passed it's Fixed expiration date. The crypto I had available in my wallet I tried withdrawing. But Cryptonomy deleted my pending withdraw and created a Launchpool contract locking my crypto for another year against my approval! They will repeat the same excuses over and over again why they cannot release your crypto! Do not use Cryptonomy. It is a complete SCAM!

Likely scam
I’m afraid to say this company are most likely fraudulent. I deposited two different assets on a 12 month fixed contract this contract expired in November 2024 and like many others that have placed a review here and elsewhere the funds have not been released. I have been on the online chat as well as emailed them multiple times and each time I’m fobbed off with the same response about how they will be released soon, or released by the end of the current month. Needless to say, they haven’t been and at this point I don’t expect they ever will be. Avoid this company, if the returns sound to good to be true, they are, lesson learnt.
Update as of 3rd May 2025 - the company replied to my original review with their stock answer that I notice they have provided to several people in a similar situation to myself. My case was then put under the personal management of a member of their customer care team, this was on the 7th April and I was again assured that within 1-2 weeks the deposits would be repaid and I would have everything back that was owed to me. It will come as no surprise to anyone that it is now 4 weeks later and I still haven’t received anything back. Last week I emailed the customer care rep whom my case was under the personal management of and they replied saying that they are undergoing ‘major structural improvement which is a complex financial process and they will continue to monitor my case and update as soon as next steps become available’.
Needless to say this is not acceptable and not what I agreed when I entered into the contract so at best this is a breach of contract and at worst this now theft.
It’s not acceptable for a company to enter into a contract, break the terms of the contract, then provide frequent reassurance of a resolution within angreed timescales and then repeatedly break those commitments as well. Do not use this company.

Warning to everyone .. Do not put money on cryptonomy. You only get promises and no money back to you. My contract ended 24.12.24 and until now only thing is get is promises that are not kept and fancy answers that i need to wait. All of this is a BIG SCAM.

Honest first review on Trustpilot
Honest first review on Trustpilot—I am a regular guy living in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area with my beautiful wife of almost 9 years and our wonderful, full of life 16 month old. It’s very expensive in this area and we’ve worked very hard to create a stable life together. I’ve been DCAing into crypto since 2022 to reap the benefits of this crypto bull run, but I fear all my sacrifice might go down the drain with this company. Hopefully I’m wrong, but from the looks of it I am not, and I send well wishes to everyone else who is going through this tough situation. Stay strong for yourself and those who love you. I first heard of Cryptonomy from a handful of YouTube crypto enthusiasts I watch, not all, but it was enough to spark my intrigue. Promoting this shaky company was not a very responsible thing to do but I do not blame them because ultimately I am responsible for the decisions I make. I initially started a flexible contract that worked out pretty well. I made some interest on a certain cryptocurrency over the course of a few months and was able to withdraw it from the platform last year but it wasn’t worth a ton at the time, just a couple thousand bucks. I naively initiated a number of fixed contracts with Cryptonomy, some of which have not been paid out since the conclusion of the agreed upon period this year & others that likely will be “extended” indefinitely and not be paid out. And now I’m getting the same generic messages from their customer service everyone else is. I don’t even want to say how many contracts, the kind of cryptos, or how much is involved because I don’t want to identify myself for potential retribution. From what I’m reading, people are already reaching out to the SEC, the crypto task force, and US attorneys. I’m not the biggest fan of everything this new administration does but one thing is for sure—they take crypto seriously. The president’s money is in crypto. This company risks getting in big trouble if they do not honor their agreements, which I am not sure they will. Cryptonomy, I will 100% change my rating if & when you return my initial investments and accrued interest. I will write a review just as detailed as this letting everyone know that despite the ups and downs, you guys held up your end of the bargain. But until then, I cannot in good faith recommend you to anyone else and will provide regular updates to the general public about how things are going. The ball is in your court. Please do the right thing. Now is the most difficult time in earth’s history to get away with this sort of scheme because everything is monitored or traceable on some level.

this is the most fraudulent company I've ever seen they even bother to pay people to post good reviews so please be careful one day your account may be a flexi account and when you want withdraw depending request is deleted and your money is now in a fixed account and judging my old other views I just read especially hot sauce you will not get back any money please don't use the service and stay away from it fully I do have proof of the pending withdrawal that was deleted from the account I still have the picture however today when I want to talk to the operator they said that my money is still fixed account yet through more channels when I click onto the website and the fixed deposit section my money doesn't register on the fixed account so in the chat they gave me a useful link to see where my money was actually being held so what kind of nonsense is this where you have two ways on checking your money one way says that your money is not there and the other says it's there what's going on please don't use the service it is the most fraudulent and most deceitful service

They restaked my crypto without my permission they refused to show me my log in and log out times on there platform so that I can prove that I did not restaked it into a fixed account for another year by reading, everyone review, I come to the belief that when you try to transfer large amounts off their platform they automatically block you from it reallocate your funds and lock them up for a year without a monthly payout and then once you called them out on it the company line is no one I has access to your account, but you if the United Kingdom stands for justice, can you please usurp your authority and bring them to justice they betrayed the trust of they people.

Unauthorised Conversion to Fixed Staking Contracts
I have been with Cryptonomy for a long time, using all their products... and things were working very well until I tried to withdraw my assets to send to an external Crypto Exchange. From all appearances while navigating the withdrawal process on Cryptonomy, it all looked normal. However, instead of being sent to my external Crypto Exchange, I discovered that my withdrawals had not been processed at all. Instead they had somehow been converted into 12 Months Fixed Staking contracts without my permission. When I contacted Cryptonomy’s chat support on the website, they told me the same that they told others here on Trust Pilot… i.e..”this is not possible, you must've done it yourself. It is impossible for us to adjust your contracts”.
I also offered electronic evidence to support my argument. They DIDN’T even ask me to send the evidence. In other words, they weren’t even interested in my evidence, they would assess the case without my evidence being weighed! And that’s what they did! They concluded their ‘investigation’ without seeing my evidence.
I emailed their support for further assistance 3 days ago. I have not yet had a reply.
Zooming out and looking at this from a distance, the question has to be asked: Why are Withdrawals and Flexible Contracts being converted into Fixed Staking Contracts? There are 3 possible reasons below:
(1) Intentional?
The Crypto market is not close to being as buoyantly positive right now as we expected it to be. We all expected the market to be well into the upside. This could suggest that Cryptonomy has found itself over-leveraged, unable to meet its contractual promises, thus fearing a mass exodus of funds from its Platform. To counter this, they could arguably have intentionally constructed a clear and preordained tool or device to convert Withdrawals and Flexible Contracts into Fixed Staking Contracts to halt the flight of capital. A flight of capital would have catastrophic consequences for the survival as a business entity - an existential threat. There would be a strong motive! This would be a Criminal act!
(2) Unintentional?
The other possibility is that Cryptonomy doesn’t realise that their Website has a hidden flaw behind it’s veil - a technical flaw and that there was no intention to convert Withdrawals and Flexible Contracts into Fixed Staking Contracts. This is gross negligence!
(3) Hacked!
Either way, all scenarios and causes (intentional or unintentional) lead to an identical impact - Fixed Staking Contracts that we do not want and we did not ask for. Potential for loss and damage due to asset fluctuation while being illiquid.
This problem is NOT to going to miraculously go away or mend itself. Cryptonomy needs to restore the balance, honour its promises and let me move my assets the way I intend.
What’s your solution Cryptonomy Finance?

100% Scam - Updated
FINAL FINAL UPDATE: I have filed a formal complaint against CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). I strongly encourage everyone ripped off by CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD to do the same. The more formal complaints, the sooner the FBI will take action.
I entered into a Launchpool contract in February 2024, and it expired in February 2025. They are not responsive to my communications, and they have changed the terms of my contract. They hold approximately 75k of my money, and I doubt I will ever see a penny of it again. Please do not give them your money. Cryptonomy is a scam.
UPDATE: Cryptonomy's response is "cut and paste" nonsense. I've reached out so many times, and all I encounter are delays, non-answers, and other shady behavior. Please do not give them your money. You will never see it again.
FINAL UPDATE: My only goal here is persuade at least 1 person from giving their hard earned money to this Fraudulent Criminal Enterprise doing business as CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD, Company Number 15307665. I no longer hold any hope to recover any of my own money.
I entered into a Launchpool contract with CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD on 02/02/2024 and the contract end date was 02/02/2025. I have not received access to my principle investment nor any of my earnings on said investment.
Instead, CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD unilaterally changed the terms of my contract, terminated my contract end date, modified my expected investment return, refused to provide any reliable information regarding my account, and have now all but admitted they never intend to return my investment.
I have made many good faith attempts, in writing, to resolve CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD’s endless breaches of my contract, but my efforts were all a complete waste of time. It is CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD’s stated policy to never speak with customers on the phone. Customer service is nonexistent. Expiration dates mean nothing—they do not release funds when contracts end. They manipulate transfers to keep your money locked in indefinitely.
I used screenshot to take pictures of my contract and transactions, but CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD will not consider any of them. There is nothing you can do to convince CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD to give you back your money. This business is a Fraudulent Criminal Enterprise run by Peter Cawkwell who owns all 6.1 billion shares of CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD - Filing Dated 0610/2024. This is a matter of public record.
The United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority states “This firm may be providing or promoting financial services or products without our permission. You should avoid dealing with this firm and beware of scams.” The FCA further warns “If you deal with this firm, you won't have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you have a complaint. You also won't be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) if things go wrong. This means it's unlikely you'd get your money back if the firm goes out of business.”
Search for “Cryptonomy Scam” on Telegram for additional information regarding this cartel.
CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD will first seek to have this review taken down as they want their fraudulent scam to keep going as long as possible. However, my message to TRUST PILOT is this: I have evidence to support all of my claims. Please contact me and I will happily provide you with said evidence. Please protect your readers by recognizing that the negative reviews of CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD are legitimate and should be allowed to stand to serve notice to potential investors that you will lose your entire investment. No exceptions.
If CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD is unsuccessful in removing this post, they will undoubtedly respond to this review with meaningless promises to rectify the situation immediately, but do not believe a single word of it. Again, CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD is a Fraudulent Criminal Enterprise, not a business. CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD will earn your trust and then keep your crypto. You will never see your money again. They will promise to expedite my claim, but new it is all fraudulent nonsense. Priority claim numbers are worthless. They do not expedite claims. They do not return money to their customers.
Do not do business with CRYPTONOMY FINANCE LTD. They will steal all of your money.

I can't say enough bad things about Cryptonomy
I can't say enough bad things about Cryptonomy. I've been waiting 101 days to get my crypto back. I have a BTC fixed deposit that expired on December 3, 2024 of which the crypto has not been released. And on December 1, 2024, Cryptonomy illegally created an ETH fixed deposit instead of sending my crypto to my self custody wallet.
After waiting for a response for many weeks, Michelle Brisseau at Cryptonomy finally e-mailed me an offer on February 27 to release my funds over the next few months. I replied and received another e-mail stating that the team would get back to me no later than March 4. It is now March 12 and they've gone silent again. I even sent several more e-mails asking for an update and nothing.
At this point, I'd rather have Cryptonomy tell me they've stolen my crypto so at least I know where I'm at. This stonewalling, delaying, avoiding and deflecting by Cryptonomy is cruel and evil. It's mental abuse.

Cite false Trustpilot rating on homepage
A dead giveaway that Crptonomy can not be trusted, at the bottom of their homepage it shows a 4.5 star rating from Trustpilot while you can clearly see on Trustpilot they actually earn a 3.1 star rating.
The "Trustpilot" rating they have on their homepage also does not hyperlink to this actual Trustpilot page with their actual rating.
This is unscrupulous and screams that they are deceptive.
MY REPLY:
You are LIARS because ANYONE can scroll down to the bottom of cryptonomy homepage and see that cryptonomy cite a 4.5 star review on Trustpilot. Anyone can see the true cryptonomy rating on Trustpilot if they are on this page.
There is ZERO data here that would indicate my account information. Cryptonomy has no idea who I am. Cryptonomy is a scam.
Second Reply
HA HA HA! Cryptonomy removed the fake Trustpilot rating from their homepage! They think they are slick and put the fake reviews on their "about" page.
Notice it there are NO hyperlinks to the "reviews" and the "reviews" use the Trustpilot color scheme and format.
Cryptonomy is deceptive, liars, and scammers. Stay FAR away from them!

If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't
As many others have said due to their actual experiences, this is a very dodgy company and should not be trusted The website looks and says all the right things without giving any real information i.e. naming any actual companies/startups they are investing in or even which country Cryptonomy are based in.
I have been investing in Crypto for a number of years now (should have known better) and am fairly experienced but I was tempted into trying the site by the supposed returns, as the old adage goes 'if it seems too good to be true, it probably isnt'. Fortunately I only transferred 0.999 XRP to my wallet, as we know moving XRP on the XRP network only costs 0.001 XRP. I left this sitting there for a couple of weeks and after doing some proper research on the company and finding these terrible reviews on Trustpilot I decided to withdraw my 0.999 XRP, I couldn't do that as it says the minimum withdrawal is 20.41185 XRP for which there would be a 0.92781 XRP fee for doing so, roughly a 5% charge.
NO OTHER crypto platform I have ever used to move XRP has ever charged a fee, let alone set a minimum amount. As said before this this is virtually free on the XRP ledger, it should be only 0.001 XRP for moving any amount of XRP. I will try their support to get this back and update later, we will see.
Edit. Tried their online support and was told abruptly that they would not change their minimum withdrawal amount or fee for doing so.
Edit in reply to Cryptonomy. You say the conditions relating to minimum/withdrawal/limits fees are transparent, they are not. Just read through your terms and conditions from point 1 to 17 and there is no mention at all of this. Further having read these T&C's I wouldn't touch this platform with a bargepole, for instance
'5.13 Cryptonomy is entitled to make deductions from Your Account in order to perform Your obligations to make payments for any Cryptonomy applicable product, including the payment of Cryptonomy commission fees, available for review here.'
and others like this make it so you can do what you will, whenever and how you wish with no recourse to/for the account holder.
You say our platform operates differently from 'direct blockchain transactions', oh really yet it looks and feels like many other crypto exchanges/wallets but isn't. All of your advertising is related to different aspects of the crypto industry but you dont want to use the same standards.
I do not pay a fee on any exchange/platform for withdrawing or sending any crypto except for the blockchain fee itself.
You say 'we have already submitted a request for your contact information', you already have my email address and I have already been told by your customer support that I will not be getting back my initial/test deposit. If you change your mind about 'allowing' the withdrawal of my XRP, I'll add that in any future edit.
Thanks.
