We had the most incredible time and Amanda was fantastic!
Cuba is an amazing country with such beautiful, friendly and patriotic people… we were so sad to go!
Highlights for us were our e bike tour of old and new Havana by Cubyke (best day out ever!) and dinner at Hecho en Casa and La Guardia meal were such an experience. Very hard to leave the roof top bar. Vintage car tour of Havana leading into cocktails was also sublime. We found the day trip to Vinales to be a bit too full of 'tourist' attractions - it was beautiful, but we wouldn't chose the rock painting or underground caves again.

I will definitely recommend Amanda and Cuba Travel Network – everything worked perfectly, including the VIP airport arrivals!!

Amazing experience with Cuba Travel Network! Everything went smoothly and according to plan.
Mayen was very helpful, nice and patient in the first steps, helping me build the perfect itinerary for us.
Then all agencies booked for our tours in Cuba were on time, super nice guides. All the hotels and resort suggested were absolutely amazing. We always had support from the Cuba Travel Network team in Cuba, meeting Manuel, Diana and Floor, who were all so helpful and nice.
We thought that the transfer to the airport was a bit too early, making us leave Havana 3h30 in advance. This is the only thing I think can be improved. It's enough to leave 2h30 in advance - 30min until the airport, leaving 2h which is the normal for international flights. Anyways the airport has some souvenir stores, some snack bars and exchange kiosks so in the end it was ok.
Only thing I would really change is the amount of days... and stay a little longer!
It's totally worth it to book with CTN, you'll have the best guides, best recent cars for the long trips, personalized trip with recommendation from people who know the country.

Amanda did a great job of lining up the tours. The guides were fluent in English, knew the city and were very knowledgeable about the history. Rachel was very well trained in showing the highlights of the city and their significance. She knows where to eat as well.

Amanda created the perfect itinerary for my mom and I to enjoy Cuba!! It was the perfect mix of planned time and open time to explore, the guides were awesome, everyone we met and interacted with was kind and helpful, and the overall experience felt authentic. We learned so much of the history of Cuba (recent and long-past) as well as the present. We saw the beauty of both Havana and smaller cities and towns. We stayed at lovely hotels and at a wonderful casa particular, and had great service at all of those locations. Mom and I both said that there's not a single thing we'd have changed about our trip! We LOVED every minute of it and made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you so much, CTN!!!

We are back from Cuba and we have both greatly enjoyed our trip, thank you for helping with the organization. Most things went smoothly however, we were greatly disappointed with our hotel in Soroa, Castillo en las nubes. Contrary to what is advertised, we arrived there to find a dirty establishment, with dead insects all over the terrace. The pool was out of use, housing nothing but filthy water, dead flies and empty beer cans to our dismay. Furthermore, having very limited options as there were no restaurants close by, we had to eat at the hotel. In the afternoon, when we asked for coffee, we were presented with a sugar bowl full of ants. Dinner was barely edible and for breakfast, the same ant- infested sugar bowl was brought out. To add insult to injury, the following day we were both sick with gastroenteritis after spending the night alone in the hotel after a power-cut with absolutely no entertainment. To summarise; our experience in Castillo en Las Nubes, was a disaster ruining the following day of our trip as a result of food poisoning.
On a lighter note, we had a great time during our tour in Havana, and were very pleasantly surprised with our accommodation in Cienfuegos and Havana.

Amanda and her team did a great job working with me to develop a tour that fit our needs and desires. The guides and the drivers were great. They provided the interaction that we needed. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.

When are go back, hopefully in 2020, we will using Amanda and her team to develop a tour for Varadero.

In plannen van de reis ging perfect mede door de tips van Cuba-Travel network. Ze dachten echt met ons mee.
De aankomst met een VIP ontvangst was erg luxe. We door de douane geholpen, koffers gehaald en ontvangst door een medewerker van Cuba-Travel Network. Hier kregen we gelijk 100CUC zodat we niet gelijk in de rij bij de bank moesten. Verder nog wat meer leuke goodies. Tijdens het verblijf zijn er nog enkele contact momenten geweest met medewerkers ter plaatse voor tips over de auto huur en gidsen. Ook bij vertrek stond er weer een medewerker klaar om ons snel de koffers in te checken en ons door de douane heen te loodsen. SUPER!

The trip planning went perfectly thanks to the tips of the Cuba-Travel network. They really thought along with us.
The arrival with a VIP reception was very luxurious. We helped through customs, brought suitcases and received by an employee of Cuba-Travel Network. Here we got 100CUC right away so we didn't have to queue at the bank. Furthermore, some more nice goodies. During the stay there were still some contact moments with employees on site for tips about car rental and guides. Also on departure there was another employee ready to quickly check us in the suitcases and to guide us through customs. SUPER!

I am so grateful to Amanda at Cuba Travel Network. As an American in the midst of the confusion with traveling to Cuba (May 2019), Amanda was so reassuring and lined out everything perfectly and it was seamless. My son and I had a fabulous holiday in Cuba arranged via Amanda. We saw so much in such a short time and everything went completely to plan. She was able to work to my budget and arranged everything so brilliantly at a very good price. Fantastic day trip to Santa Clara, Trinidad & Cienfuegos with the excellent George, a man who could give Job tips on being patient!
Collected right on time at our hotel in comfortable, air conditioned coach. Journey down to Santa Clara was filled with lots of information about the towns and villages and agriculture we passed through. Our visit to Che Guevara's Mausoleum was so moving and really enriched by George's explanations of the photographs and personal items on display. Trinidad was a lovely little place and lunch there was very good, much better than anticipated. Sadly our time in Trinidad was marred by an inconsiderate member of the party who wandered off and delayed our departure by over 40 minutes and caused poor George to have to search the streets for her - his forbearance was a marvel! That delay meant that our time in Cienfuegos was limited, But George made sure that we got as much as possible from our time there. The four of us had a fantastic day out and learned so much, we all have no hesitation in recommending this trip - and commending George and the two drivers for their professionalism!

We were so impressed with the personalised service we received. Our contact was Amanda, who phoned and kept in touch regularly by email, and even met up after the trip!
Our trip was tailor-made, ie adapted from an existing one to add on another day and night.
Our driver/guide was Reinaldo, and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly, thoughtful and cheerful person to show us round Cuba.
The tour round Cienguegos, Trinidad and Santa Clara was a great success, and I would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

Had a great experience. Amanda was fantastic (even as I kept changing my travel plans), helping me coordinate travel from Havana to Trinidad to Varadero. I will definitely contact Amanda and CTN next time I go back to Cuba.

I booked two rooms with Cuba Travel Network 8 months ago and I completely forgot to leave my review. But better late than never, because it's fair to say that my experience with them was very good. I booked a tropical room and a bungalow in a hotel in Guardalavaca. I believe the rep of that region was on vacation and I was supported by the rep of Trinidad (Floor) who helped me in a very competent and professional way. I'm sorry for not having left my review before. I just need to mention that when checking in at the hotel, my parents' room did not come out under my name and there was a little bit of confusion. The experience at the hotel was average, but that would be a different story. I would highly recommend Cuba Travel to a friend for sure! Thank you guys!

Cuba Travel Network, and their lead agent (AMANDA) were amazing, and organized a great trip for us. I'd highly recommend utilizing Amanda as she is on the ground in Cuba but also has great travel agency experience in the UK, and USA. She was able to book us an amazing hotel and several guided tours throughout Havana that gave us insight to what Cuba and Havana was really like. Amanda also made us reservations at three of the best restaurants/Paladars in all of Havana. If you are looking for 5 star service, follow up, and the best of the best recommendations/guides...etc please utilize them. They picked us up at the airport, and guided us through a special customs line, and got us VIP access through the airport and to our hotel via a special driver. If you were ever wanting to go to Cuba, this is the company to go with.

This agency is quite remarkable. Not only was their choice of itinerary excellent, being both varied and interesting, the hotels and casa particular they booked us into (in particular the Hotel Nacional in Havana) were vey good and full of character, The drivers/guides they provided were all charming, very knowledgeable and good company to be with. An added bonus was that upon arrival in Havana airport we were immediately whisked past the long queues through to the "Diplomats and VIP lounge". Similarly, when going back to the airport for our flight home, their staff took us past the long check-in queue straight to the head of the queue. We felt rather guilty but were grateful for this rather special service!
All in all, a great company and we shall use them again for our next trip to Cuba

To be rated a premier travel service for the individual traveler is a moniker worth bragging about. I found this to be so true, while researching the ensemble of operators. My contact in Sydney was an affable, charming, bubbly lady, Caroline Henley who cheerfully and intricately organised a individual itinerary for my daughter and i. All manner of transactions proved to be gold, professional and in place. i could not be more satisfied with transport, choice of accomodations(Hotels) and activities planned and perfectly executed. This is a professional outfit with roots in Cuba. Their staff are legends who speak a Babel of languages and are intimate with what’s hot and happening in this charmed country. We ranged over 11 days distances that covered Veradero, Vinyales, Trinidad, Cienfuegos , Havana and its fabulous environs. Limos provided were punctual, spotless and driven by curteous drivers with local knowledge and humour.. They factored our specialised interests perfectly while providing a brilliant opening to their Cuba, The hotels proved 1st class and activities booked worked like clockwork. In Trinidad , the lovely Floor (her name) organised a brilliant itinerary even securing two special seafood eateries that boasted whole fish. She went above and beyond, with her mercurial knowledge, genial persona and provided that one to one intimacy with the Cuba they love, live and share.

No longer being the spring chicken I used to be, but still wanting to travel alone as I am accustomed to, I wasn’t sure how to approach exploring Cuba. I was fortunate enough to come across Cuba Travel Network, and enlist the help of Caroline, in Australia. She was extremely knowledgeable in ‘all things Cuban’ and presented me with a plethora of options for accommodation, day tours, travelling around and things to see and do. She was extremely patient with me constantly asking questions and altering my itinerary.
Everything we had put into place ran smoothly. From entry visa, flights, various accommodations and trips around the country. I was even met at Havana airport by a representative of Cuba Travel Network when I arrived and when I was departing. I addition I received a call at my hotel to let me know if i required any assistance they were just a phonecall away, and when I arrived in Trinidad the lovely Floor called me, met me the next day and also saw me off on my bus trip back to Havana!
All this friendly support was unexpected but also a lovely touch. Thanks guys.
Cuba by the way was an interesting experience full of movement, kids, dogs and colonial glory admidst more decrepit buildings. Havana in particular is a very safe place and walking, even at night isn’t in the least bit threatening. The place is full of life and music. Cubans I met were intelligent, educated, politically aware and without exception absolutely lovely.
I have 4 tips for those travelling to Cuba.
*Internet is not easy to access, one has to line up to buy a card, (and there’s a purchase limit of 3 cards) then find a park or hotel where WiFi is accessible.
*Cubans are very generous and you will never go hungry, but resources are limited, therefore so are most menus. If you don’t like carbs and cheese you may have to live on pina coladas and mojitos!
*Australian dollars are not a thing in Cuba! And US dollars attract a 10% tax. Euros or Brittish Pounds are a better bet to exchange. Tourists use CUC (pronounced cook)
*Its probable showers, toilets and hot water will be inconsistent in your Homestay or hotel. Relax. It’s part of the charm.
