I have had a Cubeit box for two months. On the second month billing, my credit card had an additional charge for two extra months for SOMEONE ELSES BOX. A different amount than my contract for a different name! They confirmed this. Customer service sends you to a “case manager” to resolve a very obvious problem. This is credit card theft. So now I have to pay those charges to not incur interest and dispute through my bank which could take weeks. Ask for written confirmation of all things said in an email and record all calls.

Absolutely horrible experience with Cubeit. I must have called a half dozen times to request a later time for drop off. I talked with mangers, and numerous agents who input new requests for me. They never changed the order I was in with a weeks notice. I had to have the cube dropped off across town at someone else’s house. This completely inconvenienced the moving process. The whole reason I went with this company was the convenience of unpacking it on the driveway. If they could of came 70 minutes later it could of gone on my driveway. Just know that a request means nothing to this company and it’s all on there terms. They threaten if it wasn’t dropped that day they couldn’t bring it back for 13 more days. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. There are many other companies offering these services and I’m sure they would of been more accommodating. Go with someone else.

I had a bad experience using CubeIt for a cross-country move. First of all, they made a mistake about my address (Google Maps showed them the wrong house) and it took me a whole work day to sort it out, just because the agent at CubeIt was never available and it always went to voicemail when I called, and when I left messages explaining the issues, he didn't listen to them and insisted that there was still a problem. Then, they charged me a late fee for something that was their issue (they issued an invoice a day late) and I had to call again to get a refund for that late fee. And then, they insisted that I get a street permit (which took considerable trouble and cost me $150) and when the very kind driver showed up, he said there was no problem putting it on the driveway. I was, in short, extremely frustrated with the whole experience, and the way that CubeIt creates problems for the customer where there should not be any.
In all, I spent so long trying to sort out problem after problem with them that I would not recommend that you use their services. It's not worth it.

Storage units are good. Had difficulty getting in contact with the person assigning the cube and again when I wanted to retrieve the cube. Also, I was not made aware at the start that you are on a 4 week billing cycle so I mistakenly assumed it was a monthly cycle. Since we dropped our stuff off on Dec 20, I assumed the 20th of the month is when we could pick it up and no incur an extra month charge. So, we scheduled our delivery for March 20/20 and learned after that March 16/20 the next month bill was issued. So we paid for a month using only 4 days of the month. I am hoping some consideration will be made to refund me a partial month.

The worst experience ever! Everything was OK until I called to arrange to get 2 containers I had been renting for a year moved from my front yard to my driveway to be unpacked into our new garage & then taken away. I was overcharged by $168 for wait time that did not happen. The driver (Rob, who was fantastic I should clarify) who came to do the pick up told me to make sure I wasn't charged the wait time. I was also charged $198.07 for another month's rent for one container when it had clearly been returned. Trying to contact anyone at CubeIt is a nightmare. You get a different person every time, you can't call anyone back directly so you have to re-explain your whole story every time you call back. No one calls you back even if they promise to do so. Most people I spoke to had no idea what they were doing & constantly asked to put me on hold or call me back which they never did. After expressing my frustration with the whole process I was given a "Case Manager" & promised that she would look after me & I wouldn't have to go through the whole frustrating process of explaining my problems with a new person who didn't know what was going on. The Case Manager never once called me back & when I emailed asking her to call me the emails were ignored. The only person who was of any help was Rob, the truck driver who picked up the containers. He helped me as much as he could but alas told me I'd have to double check what I was charged & phone Cubeit to get any incorrect charges refunded. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY..... THERE ARE PLENTY OTHERS TO CHOOSE FROM!

Found communication to be lacking. Had to call the call center several times to lock down a reservation. Confirmed it and when it was time to access the unit, the local agent wasn’t present. Made it work, but wasn’t impressed. Hopefully to get access to my unit to unload will be easier.
