Appalling customer service. Two weeks after taking a payment of £140.40, Curlsmith have failed to dispatch my order; they won’t acknowledge emails and won’t respond to chat. I wouldn’t risk your money.

I've ordered twice now and had great service and really fast email responses when needed. The products are great for my hair too.

I’ve tried many products over the years to try and give me lovely curls; mousse, creams, serums and gels. The curlsmith gels work wonders on my mid length menopausal hair.

I've bought the shampoo, leave-in conditioner, curl reactivator a few month ago and let me tell you, they were the worst hair products I've ever used!
My hair never was as dry as they were when I used those products.
The shampoo didn't do a good job in cleaning my hair and made it so dry and tangled, that I needed ages in brushing my hair (with conditioner in it).
The leave-in conditioner was as moisturising as my 1€ drug store conditioner.
The curl reactivator made my hair oily, when I used it for more than two times.

I would highly recommend everyone who really wants to try this brand to firs buy the little trial bottles (3 fl. oz/88 ml), because for me that was a very bad & expensive experience.

I have a thin semi-wavy hair, it gets wavy to curly when I scrunch it, but I prefer undone tousled look. And I do struggle with getting a volume. So after finding out Curlsmith got also lightweight products for fine wavy hair, I decided to give it a go. First of all, I appreciate they are making most of their products in a travel size so you don't need to spend a fortune if you're a first time buyer trying out whether your hair is gonna like it or not. I treated my locks with Bonding curl rehab salve, then washed it with Full body weightless cleanser, followed by Multitask conditioner. After squeezing out excess water I wrapped my hair in microfibre towel, applied Weightless air dry cream, brushed it, then applied Thickening lotion and squeezed a few pumps of Root boost uplift into my palms and applied it to my roots, massaging my scalp. I ended the routine with a few spritz of Effortless waves while tousling (not scrunching) my hair. The result? Soft airy hair with beachy gentle waves.

An item in my order was on backorder for months. I finally deleted it from my order so that I could get the rest of my products. This was my first time ordering directly from the company. My order arrived today. The conditioner was open and a third of it was spilled out covering the other products. There was no damage to the outside of the box.

Lots of choices for curly hair. I will be trying several products.

I have low porosity, fine curly, dry hair,and growing out my natural color and with so many objectives Curlsmith had a product for me and many to choose from. I really enjoy using the product they had made such a difference in bringing back health to my hair, which is now manageable, has shine and looks healthy. I was purchasing the smaller trial sizes they offer which I think is great for those who can't or dont want to invest so much money in a product at first try. I now purchase the larger sizes and buy the smaller sizes to share with my curly friends for them to try and they are impressed with the product. Happy I gave them a try.

I was recommended a product by their staff. I saved up and bought it. It trashed my hair leaving it heavy and full of residue. I contacted them and said I was really upset as I couldn't get my hair to wash out even. Was told to try something else. I was not offered a free return. Only found out about this later. When I asked why I was not offered a free return was told, I was just told tough luck it's out of the returns window now. Not actually given an answer as to why I was not offered a return.

I tried curly hair smith hair make up (Ruby) , the color is ok , the gel hold is good but made my hair feels weird and even my hair is fully dry it feels like still wet a bit .. I had color in my pillow in the morning and I have color whenever i touch my hair as curly girls aways touching their hair to adjust the volume😅 i bought it for this price with small potion because they said it’s the best but I could have got the same thing with cheaper price.I don’t recommend.

I have never tried a shampoo or styling product which felt so damaging.
The shampoo left my hair feeling rough and the styling product was like putting glue in my hair.
Yes, I got a few good curls but the majority of my hair was a frizzy mess.
I know this works for some people but it is definitely not for me.

Curlsmith’s service and transaction speed are always GREAT!! (Hence the 4 stars above). The new volume line did NOT work out for my very, very baby fine and thinning hair. I only got the root lift, leave-in and the mousse/gel. My hair (and scentsitive nose) could have handled any more of the line. First, the scent is pretty strong, as are quite a few of Curlsmith’s lines, and once you started layering product the accumulative effect on me gave me migraines. Second, after my first use, my hair was very sticky and felt gummy, for lack of a better term. So, I tried just using one of the products at a time and using less. It was less sticky but still didn’t feel like healthy hair. Third, as far as adding volume, it did do some of that on day 1, but then it drooped. Since I wash my hair at night and protect it by wearing a bonnet, Day 1 results aren’t what I’m looking for. I’m sure these products would work better on someone else’s hair, but, alas, they didn’t work for me. I DO wish that they’d had this line in travel sizes so I wouldn’t be stuck with almost full full-sized products that don’t work for me.

Customer service is awesome. I had a shipment returned before I received it from FedEx due to damage. I contacted CS customer service and less than an hour later, Curlsmith reshipped my package! Great turn around of service. You guys rock!

I have used Curlsmith products for about six weeks. Today I noticed that the hair around my face was varied and choppy lengths and looking ragged. My hair has been one length for decades. This product has damaged my hair in six weeks, and of course I am 14 days past the return policy. 🫤

I would give curl smith 10 out if 10 as I love curl smith my order arrived quicker then I thought thanks you curl smith

The website is very easy navigate. I was able to find what I needed.
However, I received my shipment and found one of the bottle´s pump was broken... :(

Great product, shipping originally misdirected but quickly resolved and I was kept updated throughout.
