They took my money & never sent products.

I ordered $90 worth of products during the Black Friday sale. CurlSmith has yet to ship a single item, yet they have no problem keeping my money. I have sent at least 12 chat messages and emails in explaining the situation. One person got back to me. It looked like they were going to actually send the items then ghosted me. No tracking number or confirmation number. This was FOUR DAYS AGO. I would like the items. There is no way even if I do get these items that I would ever order from this company again. My hair looks great with their products but they need to send them. Never again CurlSmith. Never again.

No delivery, poor customer service

Bought a ton of products and diffuser in Black Friday sale. Didn’t arrive within stated 3-5 working days and then for weeks after. Customer service awful at replying. Took a week just to say ‘oh let me check with the warehouse’! I asked for a refund but they insisted the items would arrive. Ultimately shared a tracking number which showed the courier had sent it back to the warehouse. Have had tons of other deliveries arrive in the meantime no issue, so no idea what their excuse was! Have finally received a refund after much chasing but no apology, blaming the courier and asking me to follow up with them instead. Extremely disappointed. Feels like a small company trying to punch above their weight and struggle with the volume of orders.

Customer service is nonexistent

Customer service is nonexistent, I received part of my order last week, but it was missing it's most expensive item (the defrizzion hairdryer). I have tried to report this several times over the space of a week, including photos and receipts in my original email, and have been met with nothing but automated responses or been ignored entirely. I understand that it is busy over black Friday and the Christmas period but the chat portal on the website does not even work properly and I can't seem to get hold of a real person.

Ordered 10 days ago and have not received my order, I’ve been contacting them via email, messenger, instagram and their website and heard nothing back, they will also not give me a refund and have basically stole my money!

Please be so careful before using this brand

I’ve been using it for around a year now, for the first few months my hair had genuinely never looked better. Now my hair is limp, stringy, heavy and curls are gone. I’ve tried EVERYTHING- cuts, protein treatments, clarifying, changing shower head, changing lines of Curlsmith, changing styling routine, AcV rinse, rice water rinse. My hair has been trashed for months and I’m devastated. Throwing them all in the bin and starting the painstaking journey of resetting my hair.

AVOID!

Where do you even start with this ridiculous company……
Placed an order and not received.

Like many other reviewers here, I’ve sent emails, chat messages, Instagram message. Not a single response.

How is this Micky Mouse company still operating?! Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe the utter ineptitude and complete disregard for their customers.

Despite the time of year and an increase in order volume, a company worth its salt would prepare for this and employ additional staff to cope with customer enquiries. Not this bunch of cowboys, I’m afraid.
BEWARE, give this ludicrous excuse of a company a very wide berth.
Customer Service is in name only and clearly they couldn’t care less whether you do or don’t receive the goods you’ve paid for.
Curlsmith, get your act together and start responding to customer complaints. You have 2 more weeks to respond and refund before you’re in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Next stop, Trading Standards Agency……

Where's my order curlsmith?
I placed an order on 30th November and since then I have had no updates on the order. I tried to contact them on live chat, their bot doesn't even reply after a few messages. Didn't connect me to anybody. I sent them an email, they didn't reply to my email. I tried messaging them on Instagram, they asked me for order number and I gave it to them. But they didn't even read my reply/order number. Again stuck with no updates. Terrible customer service. They won't even let you cancel the order. Where's my order or where's my money?

Undelivered order

I have placed an order over a week ago.
I haven’t received my parcel and I’m unable to track it.
I have sent multiple emails
Contacted them via their official account on instagram
Attempted multiple times to get in touch via chat
Never had an answer.
Their customer service is the worst I came across in my life.
They took my money but did not bother to ship my parcel.
Disgusting!

Poor communication and gross packagins

I placed an order of two items and heard nothing for a week. I then got an email saying that I have received a refund for half of the total. The item is obviously out of stock but I don't understand why I wasn't offered the chance to wait for it to come back? The other item did arrive but the products were covered in a disgustingly sticky orange slime, which had hairs and fluff stuck to it. Absolutely vile.

I purchase a water spray that doesn’t work !

I purchased The water spray bottle . The first one was faulty and they replaced immediately which was good . But when I tried it the spray went everywhere . You have to pump it and never know when the water will come out . It’s clumsy and difficult to use . When I asked to return they said , they can’t return used open goods . This bottle is not for fit for purpose .it doesn’t work and money wasted . How do u know if something works unless you try it !!! Just ridiculous . I’d stay away in future and advice my friends to also

Disappointed

Customer service for this company are very poor. I placed an order but wanted to pay by PayPal pay in 3 option but when I went to checkout the order was placed through shopify before giving me any option to pay via an alternative method. I immediately cancelled the order. I had no response or acknowledgement of the cancellation and request for a refund so emailed several times asking for someone to confirm. I have just recieved an email to say the order has been fulfilled and so can't be cancelled.
