The service delivers exactly what I need, easy, secure and fast.
The only comment I have is that there is no option to cancel one account if we opened one by mistake.

Online tea startup rejected for no reason

We are associates based in Quebec. We opened a new trading company in Canada - Yuville International Inc. - and based it in Alberta for strategic reasons. Our intention was to import tea from China and sell it through Amazon and through our own website in different parts of the world including Canada. We applied for a Currenxie account. We provided them with all required informations but we were rejected for absolutely no reason. We don't know why they have decided to reject a start-up at its very early stage.

Bad security. Credit card was hacked for $2,400. Currenxie is not cooperative in the investigation.

Avoid this company at all costs. Our business card got hacked and charged for $2,400 likely because of currenxie's low quality security policies. They are not cooperative in finding a solution, in addition to that they charge $20 per chargeback with a SIX MONTH delay period. Do not use this company.

"The virtual card can only be accessed via the Currenxie app, using biometric authentication. PIN and Visa 3D Secure passcodes are enforced in all applicable situations."

This is not true, the fraudster charged $2,000 for airline tickets and there was no 3D secure passcode verification. This transaction should not have gone through. To top it off, most banks will refund the $2,400 amount in dispute while they investigate, currenxie does not do this.

Dear Alex, we are sorry for the unfortunate situation you are experiencing. The Currenxie Card uses every available security feature for modern cards; the physical card is numberless, so the details cannot be copied. The virtual card can only be accessed via the Currenxie app, using biometric authentication. PIN and Visa 3D Secure passcodes are enforced in all applicable situations. The card can be instantly frozen or blocked by the cardholder in the app at any time. Currenxie itself is PCI-DSS Level 2 certified for security.

Our Support team is currently following standard operating procedure with your case, they do not have an ability to circumvent this for you. The chargeback process is controlled by the card network (Visa), with an assessment time of up to 6 months. The assessment is not conducted by Currenxie. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Edit: Hi Alex, we say "enforced in all applicable situations" because we enable 3D Secure by default. However, merchants (in this case the airline) have the final choice on whether or not to require it for their transactions. Many choose not to require 3D Secure in order to provide a more seamless purchase experience. Merchants that choose to do this then become liable for the chargeback in the case of fraud, which will be the situation in your case. The client support manager handling your case will be happy to answer any questions you have about this.

Wish they would share why accounts are refused. Just saying 'due to internal policies' doesn't really help. Would like more transparency

avoid it

One of the worst payment aggregator/processors that I have dealt with. For EUR transfers they have partnered some UK bank (!), which is blocking every transaction left and right and asks dozens of irrelevant follow-up questions, even for relatively smaller value individual small transactions coming from reputable e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, etc.) Avoid at all costs, WISE, REVOLUT, Airwallex, etc. are all much better, they have proper SEPA facilities with normal EU based banks.

So far, so good.

I've been using Currenxie for a year now, and never had as single problem with them. I was able to open an account for my HK limited company despite travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and my business was up and running in no time.

Have been working with them for client…

Have been working with them for client referrals and ourselves as a company, also open a business bank account early this year. Overall, the experience has been amazing and they have been responsive, helpful and attentive to queries we have had throughout. Currenxie opened a multi-currency account for my new business in Hong Kong. The online dashboard and mobile application are very convenient and easy to use. I want to note that there is integration with Xero, which is very important for bookkeeping in Hong Kong. The customer support service is top notch. Rest assured that you will receive an answer to your question as quickly and professionally as possible. The speed of receiving and sending payments is very high, and the commissions are very low compared to competitors. Amazing 100% ! Best fintech in Hk

These guys are very helpful, their product is absolutely the best and the service is impeccable. To be fair, account opening took some time because they are really busy but since they opened the account, it’s been a wonderful experience. Their product is except, very comprehensive and very competitively priced. Furthermore, as a new business, we need a lot of support by phone or email in the beginning and it’s been available fully ! Bravo guys!
