Disappearing Money and No contact

Don't open any account there. You will never can know what's happen to your money there.
I made transaction 2 days ago, transfer was confirmed and amount took from my account. Now this transaction still didn't complete and money is disappeared. I don't have it in my Currenxie account and it's didn't received to bank account which I send it. I took request about proofs of company's income. I send all documents what they wanted. Now I don't have money, I don't any contact with them because they not answer any emails. This transaction is necessary to prepare service for what costumer's paid. Now I cannot make service. Customers don't have money because they paid to Currenxie account, Company don't have because I send by transaction which no one knows where it is. I'm Currenxie client and they working against to us. Definitely I not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback, we regret that our service didn't meet your expectations. Because the first payment received into your new account on June 27th was different in nature to what was described during your onboarding, our compliance team requested supporting documents, and unfortunately we did not receive all of the requested documents. Our compliance team was in constant contact throughout this process. The payments were ultimately released on July 4th. We understand that delays in payments are never welcome, but these measures are necessary for us to service your business in a secure and compliant manner. Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Since when did you start charging percentage fee please?

We have been using Currenxie for a while, and is satisfied with the service. However they started charging percentage fee when receiving money without any written notice. Since when did you start charging percentage fee please?

I think of openning a global account at…

I think of openning a global account at Currenxie, but I still don’t understand how Currenxie keeps my money later on as it is not a bank? If Currenxie goes bankrupcy suddenly, how can I ensure that i can get my money back? Pls advise

Hi Chris, thanks for your question.

First, we'll extract a section from our FAQ: "Currenxie takes no market, transactional, or credit risk nor do we facilitate client leverage or speculative trading." What this means is that unlike a bank, we do not lend or invest with your funds - they are yours.

In terms of where your funds are held, they are in our accounts with our many international banking partners. As determined by local regulations, we will segregate and safeguard your funds for onward payment. This means that in the highly unlikely event of our insolvency, you have priority over your relevant funds and no creditor should be able to claim them.

Hope that helps! Protecting your funds is absolutely core to our business.

A quality service overall, but still waiting on a few features

We're enjoying Currenxie — however a few additions will take them to 5 stars. Mainly we need the ability to create transfers outside of Hong Kong business hours, or at least queue them (since we're in a very different timezone). We're still waiting on credit cards, and fees could be a little friendlier too.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Jeremy! We appreciate your continued support and have taken all your points into consideration. In terms of cards, please note that they're currently in testing and will be ready soon. We'll send you an email as soon as they're available.

Regarding transfer hours, we're happy to say that we will be extending our FX hours to 11pm HK time in November, and next year we will be working towards 24hr coverage.

For anyone else reading this, same-currency transfers are always available 24hrs a day, but transfers that include currency exchange require our FX desk to be open.

I love Currenxie very much so, but...

I love Currenxie very much so. They reply pretty fast and they warn us if there is anything fishy, they do look after us.

The only negative part is that for my business I need to pay some suppliers through either a debit or credit card and still have no sign of it yet.

The absolute best

I love it. I am new to Currenxie and it is such a great platform. I run my own economic consulting business with an annual turnover of between USD1,5m to 2m.

I get paid by my clients every quarter, and pay my subcontracted consultants every month. I also have some ad hoc payments.

This is a super platform. Customer service and compliance are completely professional and so quick to respond. They understand the rules and the business, which assures me that I am dealing with an honest and secure EMI.

Bravo Currenxie!
