Completed the sale of my house. Amazing work done by DWS Legal worked hard and communication throughout thank you

If I could give this firm negative stars, I would. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a conveyancing firm. What should have been a straightforward property purchase turned into a complete disaster due to their incompetence and outdated processes.

They repeatedly requested additional documentation without processing what had already been provided. Incredibly, they got the stamp duty calculation wrong three times. Unlike every other conveyancer I’ve worked with, this firm had no digital platform. I was required to post my original ID for verification—then wait for it to be returned by post. Even worse, the case handler insisted all documents be sent via post, as they had no means of uploading or receiving files electronically/digitally like a platform.

We lost over six weeks just trying to get the basic documentation sorted. They refused to start property searches until we provided unrelated third-party documents, despite explaining multiple times that we were working on obtaining them. Our urgency and tight deadlines were completely ignored.

In the end, their delays and inefficiencies forced us to switch to another legal firm to avoid further setbacks. Staff was extremely rude ,unhelpful, and highly unsympathetic towards your circumstances.

If you’re looking for professional, efficient, and modern conveyancing services, I strongly urge you to stay away from this firm. This was truly a nightmare from start to finish.

I could not recommend DWS highly enough to others looking for conveyancing solicitors, exclusively because of Aaliya Moledina and Brooke Johnson.

I cannot speak highly enough of both of them, they were easily contactable any time I had a query (I had many as a first time buyer), they explained things very clearly and simply so that I was aware of what was happening all the way throughput the purchasing process.

I do not hesitate to think either Aaliya or Brooke will forget my transaction for as long as they live, the seller's solicitor's were absolutely shocking to deal with, extremely unprofessional and bordering on negligent.

Both Aaliya and Brooke kept on top of them, constantly ringing and emailing them to keep the ball rolling, and thankfully all that hard work paid off as the transaction happened just before the April 2025 SDLT increase.

I honestly cannot recommend Aaliya and Brooke enough, they are an absolute dream team and made my dream to become a homeowner come true!
