Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking, unreliable, incompetent, horrible company.
I ordered a parcel on eBay which DHL handed over to DAI to complete the delivery since I wasn’t at home. For whatever reasons, DAI held onto the parcel for 4 weeks before stating they will return it to sender. No reasons given. After much complaining they said I could pick it up. But instead, they re-attempted delivery but this time at a different address in a different suburb altogether. Not only are they incompetent, but illiterate as well. DO NOT USE this company if you want your valuables delivered.
Absolutely appalling service
My parcel from Skims (ordered from the US to Perth) was mishandled from the start. I received no notifications for three supposed delivery attempts, no calling cards, no emails, nothing. When I asked why, I was told Skims hadn’t provided my phone number… yet my number was printed clearly on the shipping label when we finally collected the parcel.
The collection point link had no address, emails went unanswered, and I was told the parcel was being sent to Melbourne to be returned to sender. Then told it was still in Perth but couldn’t be redirected. My partner had to leave work urgently to collect it or risk it being returned to sender. Felt like my property was being held hostage.
Other couriers redirect undelivered parcels to a nearby post office, this should be standard. DAI Post’s lack of communication, flexibility, and accountability is unacceptable.
Tracking a package fobbed off by DHL to DAIPost, a company with no scruples
Getting a tracking number to this company for an expensive DNA kit that says it has arrive in AKL NZ Sept 1st. Waiting 8 days for delivery, then contacted. A form letter with cheerful greeting, and yes we will escalate. Then four days go by and again write, yes we will escalate, and a third time, and then a note. Case closed, the delivery date was the boat, but your parcel was not there. What a lot of BS, and complete lack of customer care and service. I trusted DHL, and then they fobbed off the package to this substandard, poor customer service, no responsibility for people's important package, and come to find out it is a regular occurrence. This company should be out of business. DHL YOU SHOULD NOT USE THEM. Geraldine DOSOS, if you are even a real person, but sound like a ROBOT, you have no care for people. Shame on you all.
Worst service ever
Worst service ever. Lied about delivery and stalled responses. No action was taken despite many requests. Do not recommend.
I purchased some products from I-Herb
I purchased some products from I-Herb. The package was delivered by DAI today and left in the porch next to my entry door for all to see. It was mean't to be left in a safe place according to their delivery instructions, It could have been left behind a porch pillar making it not visible.
Sorry but I wouldn’t use this company
Sorry but I wouldn’t use this company. I received a email to say parcel had been delivered yet I was home all day. I emailed immediately to say I didn’t receive it and could someone tell me where it was delivered. 4 hours later no reply so I called and the girl said she would get a photo from the delivery person and send it to me. Later that night I called again and was told she would escalate the enquiry. Still nothing so I went to the number 4 to find out if they had it yet the address was unit 4 - 18 the shop next door took delivery of it. Luckily as it was very expensive. 3 days later I received a call from a supervisor as I sent a email complaining and asked if a supervisor could call me. Otherwise I would not have received any call or information. Very bad service I wouldn’t use again.
Lost Package Retrieved and Delivered :)
My package started off with Asendia, then DIA took over once in Australia. it was split up and 1 of the packages did not arrive. After many failed attempts to get in contact with Asendia, I finally realised DIA was the local freight company so I contacted them. I instantly received a response email and was linked in with a customer care representative, Lizette.
Lizette was extremely helpful, empathetic and thorough in establishing my issue and need for action. She explained the process clearly and with full transparency, and assured me they would do everything possible to try and locate/deliver my lost package. Lizette also provided regular updates on the status of my logged case. The package was found and delivered within 1 week. Thank you Lizette!!
Lizette Tecson was very helpful
Lizette Tecson was very helpful, patient and helped with my issue quickly and efficiently. Well resolved thank you :)
Fretzie Aton turned a bad delivery experience into a great one!
Fretzie Aton made a whole lot of difference in the customer experience. My package from the UK had arrived in Perth via HK and Melbourne, but the final delivery leg courier did not leave a failed delivery notification, nor was there any contact from the seller and their original carrier. When I finally had time to check, I found out my package had been sitting a warehouse for 2 weeks, and by the time I got there, it had started its return journey to the sender. However, when I managed to call Dai Post, Fretzie made the whole difference by advising that she would note for my parcel to hold in Melbourne, and that she would monitor for approval for re-delivery. This gave me the assurance and time to contact my sender and the original carrier to get the requisite approval. Fretzie emailed me regularly to let me know the status of my package, and finally, when the approval was received. Thanks Fretzie!! Your support and assistance is truly appreciated!!
DELAYED AND INACCESSIBLE POST
● 18th July - Order placed
● 21st July - Product shipped to Australia by FedEx
● 25th July - arrives in Australia and is handed over to DAI Post for local delivery
● 28th July - lodged an enquiry about the lack of progress in logistics, now overdue
● 29th July - DAI requests Order Invoice. Despite the package having 3 copies easily accessible on the exterior it became my task to do the job of DAI staff. Proof of Purchase was sent within 20 minutes
● 4th August - Package has still not moved. I make a phone call to DAI Post and ask for an update.
● 5th August - Recieve an e-mail saying that the Proof of Purchase files are "corrupted" and need to resend it in PDF format. I send the format requested on the same day.
● 11th August - Package still not moving. Contacted DAI to ask for an update, a time frame for expected delivery, and an explanation for why the delivery is now 2 weeks overdue. In response I am sent an invoice for "Formal Clearance Fees" (>$120) to be made by Direct Deposit 🚩. Payment made same day, evidence forwarded to DAI. Called to confirm payment, am told 3 - 5 days for processing
● 20th August - the first, only, and last unprompted email is recieved from DAI to notify of a delay
● 25th August - now 31 days since the package has not moved under DAI's logistics I contact again. Request update and timeframe.
● 1st September - another invoice for shipping fees is sent (?) for <$250 at midday and a call is recieved from DAI demanding the payment be made using Direct Deposit by end of business day or the the package is eligible for "disposal". I did not appreciate this threat, the double standard of taking as long as they do to perform any part of their job yet expecting the complete opposite of the reciever. Payment is made and I call to confirm and ask for an update. I am told the package has been flagged for "Urgent Delivery" and will be delivered by 13th of August (which is 36 days longer than the original delivery time of 10 days from the UK to AU)
● 5th September - no progress in tracking, package is still in the same location as it was on the 25th July. Submitted a request for update, no response.

Yes, I agree with the majority of reviews that this company should be shut down, but that requires we all take some form of action. After contacting my bank they have sent the case to their Cyber Fraud Department. Being that the payments are made with Direct Deposit as oppossed to a normal system (e.g. PayPal, PayID, Debit Card, etc,) the chances of getting money back is slim-to-none, so the bank offered the following advice which I think everyone affected by DAI should pursue as many of the options possible depending on their experience:
- File a police report at cyber (dot) gov (dot) au
- Contact the following organizations:
• ID Care
• ScamWatch
• Scam Hub
• ACCC
These organizations have successfully taken courier companies to court, but the chance of you recieving your product and/or refund is not within their power. I would also highly suggest contacting the original seller and logistics companies that use DAI Post as a partner carrier which in my case is FedEx (who are taking this very seriously) but can also be DHL or numerous others. By expressing that you will be avoiding these courier services due to their use of DAI the logical conclusion will be for these companies to to terminate their partner carrier contract. DAI should, and must, be shut down but that is a goal that we need to collectively do together using every technique, tool, and service available... not just a Trust Pilot review. My review on productreview.com.au is less censored and contains publicly listed email addresses of the DAI CFO, Chief of Sales, Head of Board, etc.
When I realised my package had the…
When I realised my package had the wrong postcode (1 digit wrong) I notified dai post straight away and they said they’ll amend and post. Well it went back to Melbourne and was held in their warehouse. I emailed Lizette and her customer service response was to come and pick it up (I’m in qld and their in Melbourne). They rejected my claim to change the postcode and was going to keep the parcel, this is thievery!!! I wouldn’t recommend dai post, place should be shut down!!
DAI Post are AWFUL - Avoid at all costs.
DAI Post couriers are pathetic. I have dealt with them three times in the last month for three separate parcel. Each delivery was failed -- first one the driver stole the parcel. Second delivery, the driver damaged the parcel and took it back to the depot but did not tell anybody. So until I called two weeks later I only then found out my parcel was damaged - no refund offered. Lastly, the driver put my parcel in the mailbox, took a delivery photo and then took it back out - thieving prick. Little does he know he's on camera and a police report has been filed.
Disappointing delivery or lack of…
Although the customer service was good my parcel arrived late - said it was out for delivery and didn’t arrive till the next day which was too late as I was travelling. I asked the delivery driver why it wasn’t delivered the day previous when it was said to be out for delivery and he said he didn’t get around to it then when he couldn’t deliver after the one attempt they returned to sender. Through customer service (which I do rate 10/10) I was able to halt the return and pick it up from the warehouse when I arrive home next but I am EXTREMELY upset and disappointed it didn’t arrive on time, wasted hundreds of dollars on the parcels to use on my trip abroad and wasn’t even able to do so because the delivery person “didn’t get around to it”
Lizette and Geraldine - Great asset to DAI
Lizette and Geraldine were very empathetic and helped me track my parcel and expedite the delivery as we were about to leave home to catch our flight. Truly appreciate the effort. Thank you Team DAI
DIA delivered my package to a different town nearly 3 hours away
DIA delivered my package to a different town 2.5 hours away to god knows where, I have been patient and have waited a week. The parcel was delivered on the 14th Aug 25 to the other town and have heard from the lady 3 times, 2 of which were responses to my request for my parcel.
Great service
Great service. Parcel beautifully sealed. Delivery times and full information of parcel whereabouts. Fantastic service. Thank you Dai
Excellent Customer Service
Customer service is friendly, responsive and professional. Query is promptly answered for peace of mind. I would highly recommend Daipost if you are sending parcels to Singapore.
Good customer care rep, terrible delivery service
The customer care rep I spoke to over the phone, Lizette, was very helpful and provided excellent service. However, the delivery service really needs to up their game. There were two separate occasions I was notified that the parcel was undeliverable due to having no safe space to drop it off, however I was at home both those times and nobody rang the doorbell! This is very frustrating and not acceptable
Lizette was incredibly helpful
Lizette was incredibly helpful. I had not had any tracking updates for over 2 weeks, made a call and Lizette found the package and it was delivered to me the next day!
THE WORST DELIVERY COMPANY IN AUSTRALIA
After supposedly attempting delivery (not true) , my parcel was supposedly dropped at local convenience store (not true) Neither happened.
After raising a query with DAI post I got 1 generic email response and since then after contacting them 7 or 8 times I have had ZERO responses. The retailer thankfully shipped the goods again, SURPRISE, the same thing happened again with the 2 replacement orders. NO DELIVERY ATTEMPTED, no parcel at convenience store. This racket of pretending to attempt delivery to my business address has happened on at least 6 occasions- Every single delivery by this company, the last 2 have gone MIA and no responses. Previous packages were able to be collected.
