Definitely a RECOMMEND!

Friendly and Helpful staff. Great communication without feeling "pushed" into anything. If not for my own indecision the entire process would have taken less than a week. Any delays or "slowness" in the process were my own doing; trying to decide if I needed to spend $2k+.

They were able to recover a significant amount of data, They only things I could not access had little or no current value, or could be recreated (music, emails, old software installs, etc). The near complete recovery of travel photos made my day.

Only negative to me is cost. As a private consumer, spending $2300 to get 750gb of my data back felt a bit like ransom. If I was a company, or small business owner, needing the data to continue my business it would be very reasonable; but as an retired individual just looking to get memories back (photos) it was a significant outlay of $.

DataTech was awesome! one of my memory cards corrupted and they were able to recover everything and get it back to me fast. the had a zoom call with me to look over the files together to make sure I recovered everything. very friendly and helpful staff. will definitely go back if I ever have any other technology issues in the future.

Data Tech was great! They promptly recovered ALL of my lost pictures on my external hard drive. Tens of thousands of pictures! It was quite costly, but the pictures are priceless!

I had a total panic when a power surge made my external drive undetectable. I'm a wedding videographer, and had numerous weddings on the drive that had yet to be edited. The team at DataTech Labs brought a calming energy and really made me feel like I could trust them with recovering these high sensitivity projects. They were incredibly fast to give me a same day diagnosis, and within a couple of days had recovered the data. I cannot thank them enough for being so empathetic and professional during this process.

I called to recover pictures and they says it would be $500 to $1000.00 to recover them. I’m retired and that is my whole month salary with $100 left over to pay bills. How does someone on a fixed salary get this type of work done?

It's never a good thing when your backup drive fails, but Datatech labs was able to retrieve all my data and pictures! A USB on which I’d saved extremely important legal documents malfunctioned suddenly and I thought I’d lost all of my documents permanently. Calling the situation a “crisis” is an understatement. I contacted at least 5 different companies before I found DataTech Labs, and they either charged an astronomical, non-refundable fee upfront with no guarantee of success or they said there was nothing they could do. DataTech Labs’s pricing terms were reasonable, their customer service was outstanding, and, most importantly, all of my documents were recovered successfully and quickly. I’m so lucky to have found DataTech Labs and I highly recommend them.

Although it’s not cheap they were able to get all my pics and documents off my failed stand alone hard drive.

My company converts proprietary data for public safety agencies to their new software provider's format. We presented Data Tech Labs with extracting data from some unique Unix-based tape drives each with a different interface. They actually went so far as to purchase new equipment to satisfy our request even when it looked like it might not be able to be accomplished. Their determination is impressive and much appreciated. We now consider them our primary choice when requiring data extraction assistance. I would recommend them highly to anyone especially those with unique data extraction requirements.

The responsiveness of my point-of-contact was mixed. I would call or email and there was a delay in response. However, the quality of the services provided was excellent. I wish it were not so expensive; I was under the impression that recovery from my storage device would likely cost less than half of what it ended up costing, but I desperately needed the data, and I appreciated having the service available. The shipping process was smooth and seamless.

They were the only place that could see and recover my data. They were quick in turning it around and overall very pleasant people. Would recommend.
