Great service, delivery was quick and the product is high quality!

I recently purchased three Davek umbrellas (a Mini and two Solo/9” models) based on their high ratings, but the reality didn't match the $95 price tag.
The Reality Check: * Materials: The fabric feels average at best. Compared to my $65 Weatherman, the Davek feels flimsy and lacks the high-denier quality you’d expect for nearly $100.
The "Mini" is a Toy: The construction is mostly plastic and feels more suited for a child. It is significantly smaller than the specs suggest in practical use.
Ergonomics: The handles are thick and heavy (zinc alloy), making them very uncomfortable for anyone with smaller hands.
Value: I have $30 LifeTek umbrellas from Amazon that feel sturdier.
Conclusion: You aren't paying for a superior umbrella; you’re paying for a "Lifetime Guarantee" and "Loss Protection" insurance policy. Based on the quality and the price, they should be able to easily replace each five times over and still maintain a respectable margin. If you want a tool that actually handles a storm comfortably, look elsewhere. Returning all three.

I was impressed with the shipping and handling of my son’s birthday present. It arrived ahead of schedule as Dave’s sent it on its way promptly. He sent me a picture of it and the packaging was done with care. Haven’t had the pleasure of using it yet but spring rains are coming soon and I am confident it will live up to its potential!

Poor packaging. I received dirty umbrella. The umbrella (black) doesn't match the case (dark blue). The quality wasn't as expected. It's not worth the price and reputation.

It's everything I was hoping for. I chose the navy blue, it's stunning. I'm saving up for another one for my wife before she takes this one.

The quality of this umbrella does not meet my expectations.

I have two dogs who love their walks no matter the weather, and arthritis in my hands. These things make it difficult to wield a regular size umbrella. But the mini Davek is perfect!!

it's storm season up here in the Pacific Northwest/Washington State, and using public transportation for my commute just improved exponentially. I've got my wellies, new raincoat and my Davek umbrella... bring it, Mother Nature☔️

Lifetime warranty is real. Got my new umbrella in 2 days, no hassle. Very refreshing to be delivered what was promised.

I am thrilled with this umbrella.
The umbrella is for traveling in Europe although has braved the heavy rains in Southern California.
Sturdy, easy opening and closing, elegant blue, and handle is appreciated.
Big enough to cover me and my husband.
So glad I broke down and ordered quality.
Definitely worth it.

First, I received my replacement Davek umbrella today. Wow, and a new one at that! I called your New York number & thanked the receptionist who answered for what is truly great customer service! When I called a few weeks ago to inquire about getting my Davek repaired a live person answered. Very rare today. Companies have forgotten what customer service is. I thank you immensely for your excellent response. I’ll be buying my wife a new umbrella shortly ( hopefully she won’t lose this one ). Again, thank you!
